84 Chapter 83: Capturing Loose Ends

"You didn't need to slap me; I was literally gone for not even ten seconds; I had just forgotten to erase any digital evidence such as pictures and videos. Besides, we're around a mile in the sky; it would take you about 20 seconds to hit the ground. I could've been gone for double the amount of time, and you still wouldn't have touched the ground." Remarked Tut lightly as he looked at Sara in his arms while slowly flying through the sky, though his words didn't seem to ease her frustration.

"Sorry, Tut, for being terrified at the prospect of falling to my death; I'll make sure to stay calm next." Replied Sara sarcastically as she gave Tut an irritated look while he just sighed.

"Alright, alright, my bad, I shouldn't have done that, but it was kinda cool, you gotta admit that, right?" Said Tut apologetically before smirking as he glanced at Sara, who stared at him blankly.

"Eh, that pain must be really bad." Muttered Tut while Sara just scoffed and looked away.

"Where are we going now? Didn't you say you were going to take a pitstop?" Questioned Sara with her eyes closed, refusing to look at Tut.

"I'm going to the base of the invading army; then I'll head to its city, capturing all the high-ranking officers; thanks to starks weapons they are in possession of, they seem to have much greater firepower, but the country will crumble when they've got no one to lead them." Stated Tut seriously while Sara nodded before furrowing her brows.

"Even if you do that, the country will eventually find its footing; you would only be temporarily hurting them." Remarked Sara as she gave Tut a curious glance, to which he smirked.

"True, but it should still be long enough for Serbia to push them out of their country, and hopefully, it'll end the war; from my understanding, the ones invaded started the war, but they don't seem to have a legit reasoning. From what I can hear, it's like they're invading Serbia partially just because they've got the necessary firepower; I can't seem to find any other reasoning as to why, and that's stupid." Stated Tut with a nod before frowning while listening to the leading officers of the invading army.

"The invading army is just abusing their power; it would be like if I just decided to go around and suddenly conquer countries." Added Tut with a scowl while shaking his head.

"Yeah, that's more hateful than stupid; is that why you intend to stop them, Tut?" Asked Sara with a nod and a frown as she looked up at Tut.

"Eh, I wouldn't call what I'm about to do 'stop them'; it's more like I'm offering a helping hand to Serbia, which should be more than enough for them to finish the job. If they can't even push back an army without anyone leading them, then I'm impressed they even lasted this long as a country." Remarked Tut, his words causing Sara to chuckle lightly while they suddenly started heading toward the ground.

Spotting a massive compound with armored vehicles, soldiers, mounted turrets, air defense, and several other things, you'd find at a military base, I increased my speed, swiftly approaching the compound, yet I didn't enter any of the buildings; I instead crashed into the part right in the middle of the base. Digging through several feet of dirt, I smashed through a layer of concrete before arriving in what looked like a war room with a large table, several soldiers, and a projection screen displaying the Serbia map.

"After the failed attack on the refuge base because of an unusually powerful mutant, we should focus our attention elsewhere-" Stated an older man as he stood beside the image of Serbia while tapping the southernmost part with his finger, only to freeze when Tut and Sara crashed into the room.

Before any of them could even react, I cut the table in half with my heat vision, causing every single one of them to back while pulling out their guns and looking at me in fear.

"Um, am I safe, Tut?" Asked Sara lightly as she snuggled deeper into Tut's embrace.

"Yeah, you're fine; I always cover you in my aura whenever I touch you. The only thing that could probably damage you is a nuclear explosion, or maybe not, I don't know, and I don't feel like testing it out." Replied Tut as he eyed the several men, taking a big breath before blowing cold air at them, freezing the lower portion of their legs and feet in ice.

As I froze them to the ground, they started to fire at me and Sara, yet they didn't do anything to either of us; my aura protected Sara, and my body was tougher than diamonds; their small caliber bullets crumbled against our bodies.

"Woah, this is freaking awesome; I'm so glad I'm dating a superpowered boy." Muttered Sara in amazement as she watched the bullets bounce off her body, not even feeling a hint of pain.

Laughing at Sara, I finished freezing them to the ground before looking at the ceiling, using my laser vision to cut a large square hole big enough to fit a car, though before it fell, I caught it, tossing it along with the dirt stacked above it far off into the distance.

Flying out of the bunker, basement, hidden room, or whatever it's called, I quickly grabbed an empty humvee before returning to the bunker, getting shot at in the process, but ignored them.

"Alright, this will be a little uncomfortable for you guys, but I don't really care, so here you go." Remarked Tut with a slight smike as he set the humvee down and opened the door before practically tossing the six men inside and closing the door.

'This was just one base, yet they're already uncomfortable; even if I turned this humvee into a clown car, it won't be enough to hold everyone; I'll need to find something bigger.' Thought Tut with a slight while grabbing the car and shooting off into the sky, heading toward his next destination.

While flying with several other passengers, we flew over one of the cities they attacked, and right in the middle of the street, I spotted a dump truck, causing me to smirk as I swiftly flew down towards it. Setting the humvee upside down, I tossed the rubble off the dump truck, and although it was a little damaged and its wheels were flat, it was perfect for what I needed; this should be more than big enough to hold everyone, hopefully.

"Alright, change of plans, everyone, we've just received an upgrade!" Yelled Tut with a smile as he approached the humvee while Sara rolled her eyes at his antics.

Transferring the military people into the dump truck, I flew around from base to base, kidnapping the people with the highest rank, which didn't take long, as there were only two bases in Serbia. With Serbia cleaned, I headed straight toward their country, which was mostly filled with political nigga's and whatnot considering most of the military was participating in the invasion.
