70 Chapter 69: Trip Around The World

Feeling the wind hit my face as I soared through the sky, I felt a rush of adrenaline as I flew even higher and faster, curious to test the limits of my flying capabilities. Appearing above the fluffy clouds, I flipped myself upside down and looked at the starry sky while I flew through the air, finding the night sky far more beautiful than usual.

'I wonder what the rest of the universe has to offer; maybe, someday, I'll explore it.' Thought Tut with a smile as he looked at the starry sky in fascination before flipping himself again.

"Now, let's truly test my limits." Muttered Tut excitedly as he flexed his new muscle harder than before, causing him to speedily shoot off through the sky.

Pushing myself even harder, I lowered myself beneath the clouds and looked at the Earth, which was rapidly moving past me; every couple of seconds, I'd hear a new language before that new language disappeared and a different one appeared. As I flew, I spotted various things pass me by in an instant: statues, buildings, mountains, canyons, rivers, lakes, and many other things.

Flying by everything was such an amazing sight and hard to describe with words; it was exhilarating, especially when I got several seconds of nothing but the bright blue ocean. Flying over another land mass, this time, I heard the people below me speaking English, my native tongue, though every moment I would hear their accent slowly change from a western one to a southern one, and finally an eastern one; it was amusing, to say the least.

"Haha, this is so fun; I could definitely get used to this." Muttered Tut with a large smile as he passed over Virginia at astonishing speeds before once again being greeted by the calm blue ocean.

I had flown so far around the planet that I had seen the night sky morph into a sunny sky, only for it to slowly descend again into the darkness of night.

Flying through the air, when I finally heard the Serbian language, I instantly dived down toward the Earth and headed straight for where Sara was. Seeing Sara standing there while aimlessly looking up at the sky, I continued flying right toward her; only when I was a few meters in front of her did I bring myself to an immediate halt, though that was a mistake since followed by the massive sound of me stopping, all the air that was right behind me, continued forward with a wind speed even stronger than that of the strongest hurricane or tornado.

The air hit everything before me, lifting it and launching it into the distance; the same went for Sara as she was sent flying through the air like a rag doll. Sighing to myself, I swiftly flew after her and gently caught her within my arms before landing back on the ground, which was now devoid of any debris thanks to my little stunt.

"Sorry about that, Sara." Said Tut apologetically as he set Sara on the ground and landed beside her.

"What… Even happened? Everything occurred so fast; one second, I was sitting, waiting for you to return, and the next thing I knew, I was flying through the air before I was once again standing on the ground?" Asked Sara in confusion as she rubbed her head and sat down where she had previously been sitting.

"I stopped too hard, which resulted in all the wind following behind me, hitting you and everything else in the general area." Replied Tut with an awkward expression as he looked away, feeling slightly embarrassed about his little blunder while Sara stared blankly at him.

"So, you nearly killed me? Is that what I'm getting out of this?" Questioned Sara with a scowl as she squinted her eyes and stared at Tut, who continued looking away, though he still nodded.

"Haa, everyone says it's amazing to have a superpowered friend, but no one ever thinks of the downsides, do they?" Added Sara in a mocking tone as she looked at Tut, who decided to ignore her words.

"So, um, I can fly now; that's cool, right?" Asked Tut with a wry smile as he shifted topics, earning him a glare from Sara, though nonetheless, she nodded.

"Yes, being able to fly is spectacular, though how did you know you could fly? Do your powers come with a guidebook or something?" Remarked Sara curiously as she folded her arms and looked at Tut, who was floating in the air.

"They don't come with a guidebook, and I didn't know I could fly; it was more of an instinctual feeling if anything. Granted, the learning part took much longer than I expected." Replied Tut lightly with a shake of his head as he floated upside-down and looked at Sara; while he wasn't telling the whole truth, he wasn't lying either.

"So, where had you been flying around prior to nearly killing me? You were gone for about a minute." Asked Sara as she watched Tut fly circles above her.

"Hmm, you know, nothing special, just took a quick trip around the entire Earth, taking in the sights." Said Tut with a smirk, not even realizing how much of a problem his joyride around the planet caused numerous organizations and governments, though even if he knew, he probably wouldn't have cared.

"What!? The entire planet!?" Exclaimed Sara with widened eyes full of disbelief as she stood up and looked at Tut, whose smirk only got more prominent.

"I can't believe it only took you a minute to fly around Earth." Muttered Sara with a shake of her head as she sat back down, quickly calming down at her superpowered alien friend's feats.

"Yeah, it was no biggie; I just wanted to see the world. I can show you it if you want?" Remarked Tut with a grin as he floated a few inches off the ground and grabbed Sara's hand.

"Eh, seriously?" Asked Sara in surprise as she looked up at Tut, slightly taken aback.

"Yeah; I said I wanted to show you something cool after all." Replied Tut with a nod as he covered Sara in his aura before tossing her a few feet into the air, catching her in his arms.

"I'm not going to accidentally die, right?" Asked Sara as she wrapped her arms around Tut's neck while suspiciously eyeing him.

"Nope, you'll be fine, Sara." Said Tut with a shake of his head as he suddenly shot off into the sky, flying through the air just below the speed of sound.

Reaching high into the sky, I flew just below the thick sea of clouds that covered the starry sky as Sara and I soared through the air while overlooking the Earth.

"Woah; everything is so much different from up here." Remarked Sara in awe as she observed Serbia and parts of Romania from high into the sky.

"Yeah, it sure is, though we're going to need to start speeding up, Sara; I don't want those satellites in the sky to take pictures of us." Stated Tut with a soft smile as he glanced at Sara's awe-filled expression, a sight that caused his cheeks to blush slightly.

"Okay, just don't drop me. If I die, I'm haunting you; just know that." Said Sara with furrowed brows as she glanced at Tut, who was busy staring into her bright green eyes.

"Heh, yeah, whatever; besides, even if I were to drop you, I'd still be fast enough to catch you." Replied Tut with a blushed smile as he looked away from Sara's eyes and started speeding up.

Unlike previously, I didn't instantly hit the gas; I slowly sped up, which took a little longer, but I didn't want to surprise Sara; besides, we eventually reached a comfortable flying speed as we flew through the sky, passing over entire countries in the span of a second or so. This was quite a spectacular sight for me, but for Sara? She could hardly react to what she was seeing; we were simply moving too fast for her to process anything.

"So, how was it? You're one of the only two people to have flown around the entire planet within a minute." Remarked Tut as he stopped flying and floated just above Serbia, though what he didn't know was that he was, in fact, far from the first person to do so.

"It was a one-of-a-kind experience, I'll say that, but honestly, everything was moving too fast for me to really enjoy it. It was all just blurs; I couldn't make out anything." Replied Sara with a slight smile before frowning while Tut chuckled in amusement.

"Hehe, I figured as much; though, what about this?" Asked Tut as he looked to the sky, entering the clouds blocking the starry sky before exiting them from the other side.

"How's this view? It may not be one of a kind, but it's for sure breathtaking." Added Tut with a grin as he floated above the clouds, viewing the starry sky and full moon illuminating the dark sky.

"Yeah, this is much better." Said Sara with a nod as she stared into the sky, her green eyes reflecting the moonlight.

Staring at the sky, I looked at the moon, and a crazy idea pooped into my mind, though before I did that, I wanted to do a little testing; I didn't want to kill Sara.

"Hey, Sara, I want to test something real quick." Said Tut with a smile as he swiftly descended to the ground, landing back on the Earth in a matter of a few seconds.

"Hmm, what is it, Tut?" Asked Sara as she hopped out of his arms and sat back down.

"Heh, if it actually works, you'll get to see something that not even money can buy." Replied Tut with a grin as he looked at Sara before flying back into the sky.
