44 Chapter 43: Eloise & Blacksteel?
Jean and I aimlessly walked around the school since neither of us knew where to go or what to search for, but that was fine; they said it's the journey that matters, not the destination, although I'm only on the journey to get to the destination. We happened to spot Colossus, Wolverine, and Bobby in their everyday clothes, looking pretty normal, except for Wolverine, the old man still looked wild as can be. I was eager to see Storm, but I wasn't eager enough to follow the sound of her voice, so I just left it be and hoped we happened to cross paths since I was mainly following Jean, considering she's the one who might stay here, not me.
"So, are we just going to continue walking around, or are we going to do something, Jean? I can hear a whole bunch of fun things happening." Asked Pharaoh blandly while leaning on Jean, making it difficult for her to walk.
"Maybe if you weren't leaning on me, I might be able to get us somewhere." Replied Jean with a frown as she glared at Pharaoh, who she was practically dragging around.
"Fair enough." Said Pharaoh lightly with a smirk as he stood up and lightly backed away from Jean while she gave him a side eye before continuing touring the school.
We walked for a few more minutes, and lucky us, Rogue's voice was getting louder and louder, and before I knew it, she was only a few meters in front of us, energetically speaking with what looked to be an awkward emo kid.
'How are you going to be a Mutant and an Emo; just choose one, c'mon man.' Thought Pharaoh with a raised eyebrow as he grabbed Jean's hand, startling her before approaching Rogue
"Eh; w-why did you grab my hand, Tut?" Asked Jean shyly as she looked at Pharaoh, only to notice Rogue speaking with an emo girl shortly after.
"To meet the embodiment of energy." Replied Pharaoh with a smirk as he neared Rogue, though he was patient enough to let the two finish their conversation.
"Awe, c'mon, Eloise, it'll be fun; you never do anything other than stay in your room and sulk. And the only time you're not in your room is when you're attending class; c'mon, please! For me!" Asked Rogue with a pout, trying to guilt-trip Eloise, the emo girl, into doing something while tightly holding her hands, though her effect seemed not to be working.
"I already said no, Rogue; I don't want to get in trouble." Replied Eloise blandly while blankly staring at Rogue, who ignored her and continued to persuade her.
"Don't be like that; I promise you'll enjoy it, and if you don't, I'll stab myself 100 times with a balloon." Declared Rogue with a large, confident smile despite what she had just said.
"You can't stab yourself with a ballon, Rogue; besides, I already said- You." Said Eloise blandly, shaking her head though while doing so, she spotted Pharaoh and Jean, yet unlike usual, her focus was entirely on Pharaoh.
"Um, me? Not her?" Asked Pharaoh in confusion as he pointed at himself before pointing at Jean, though Eloise didn't bother responding as she ignored Rogue and walked right up to him.
"Pharaoh Kenji Kent, aka Blacksteel, You'll die protecting your Mother, Hana Kent." Declared Eloise seriously with teary eyes as she looked at Pharaoh before suddenly hugging him, confusing Pharaoh and causing Jean to furrow her brows while Rogue happily clapped her hands.
"Haha, you've only been here for one day, yet you've already won Eloise's heart!" Stated Rogue excitedly as she ran circles around the three.
I found it incredibly weird why this emo girl was suddenly hugging me from out of nowhere, but what she said caused me to frown deeply; I didn't necessarily believe her, but this was a school of mutants with various abilities, so I damn sure wasn't just going to brush her statement aside.
"Tut, do you know her?" Asked Jean quietly as she glanced at Eloise, who was still hugging Pharaoh, before suspiciously looking at Tut.
"No, I've heard her voice, but this is the first time I've ever seen her, let alone interacted with her; I'm just as confused as you, Jean." Replied Pharaoh in a whisper as he looked down at Eloise, who opened her eyes before looking up at Tut, and to Jean and Pharaoh's shock, she kissed him on the cheek while smiling.
"Thank you for everything, Blacksteel; words aren't enough to express the gratitude Earth has for you." Said Eloise softy with a slight smile as she wiped the tears forming in her eyes before releasing Pharaoh from the hug and walking away.
Watching Elosie walk away after hugging and kissing me on the cheek for absolutely no reason, I looked back at Jean and Rogue, hoping one of them would tell me what the hell just happened, but from Rogue's expression, it seemed not even she had anticipated such a thing.
"Tut." Said Jean with a slight frown as she folded her arms and eyed Tut.
"On my Momma, I have no idea what the hell just happened; I'm just as confused as everyone else." Stated Pharaoh as he defensively raised his hand into the air, though neither Jean nor Rogue believed him that easily.

Back in Queens.
"Dammit fucker, can you drive any slower!? You're not the only one on the fucking road!" Exclaimed Hana angrily in Japanese as she tightly clutched the steering wheel while looking at the pickup truck, which was driving ten mph under the speed limit.
Having had enough of this slowpoke, I was about to switch lanes, but an intersection was approaching, causing me to curse under my breath; seeing the light turn yellow, I sped up slightly, trying to force the bastard to drive faster, but it seemed my camry riding his bumper didn't faze him at all.
"Fucking Bitch!" Yelled Hana angrily as the light turned red just after the truck crossed the white line, forcing her to stop.
'Fucker, I hope you get hit!' Thought Hana, though, funnily enough, when the truck reached the middle of the intersection, a speeding car nearly crashed into the truck, but it managed to swerve out of the way and go behind it.
"G-Glad I didn't go; I-I would've gotten hit." Muttered Hana in both fear and relief as she nervously gulped.

"Eh, I don't know about that, Pharaoh; I've been friends with Eloise ever since she switched to this school, and I've never seen her act so friendly with anyone. Are you sure you're not her secret boyfriend or something?" Remarked Rogue skeptically as she neared Pharaoh and closely observed him, a little too close, though, as he was forced to lean back.
"Well, what can I say? I've got the charm. And no, I'm definitely not her secret boyfriend; besides, it wouldn't be a secret anymore, would it?" Said Tut with a smirk before shaking his head, causing Rogue to squint her eyes before backing away beside Jean.
"Hmm, I suppose you're right, Tut. We must keep an eye on him, Jean; he's likely lying. I bet Elosie and him have a secret relationship." Said Rogue with a nod before whispering into Jean's ear, who constantly nodded in agreement.
"Yes, you're probably right; we must uncover Tut's relationship with Eloise." Declared Jean seriously with a nod as she extended her arm toward Rogue, who grabbed her hand; the two shook on it while Tut, the person in question, was busy pondering Eloise's words.
'Fuck me, does she have precognition ability or something? That would explain why she knew my full name and Mom's name, though I've got no clue why she kept calling me Blacksteel. I just hope her precognition ability isn't perfect cause if it is, what the hell am I supposed to do? I don't want to die, but I damn sure am not going to let my Mom die either.' Pondered Pharaoh with a frown and furrowed brows before shaking his head and sighing in exhaustion.
'I need to talk with her, though I'll do it later.' Thought Tut as he made sure to keep Eloise's voice within his hearing at all times.
"So, are you two done or what? Cause you're not going to find anything; I don't know, Eloise." Remarked Tut with a raised eyebrow as he folded his arms and looked at Jean and Rogue, who seemed to behave like best friends already.
"We're not believing you so easily; that's exactly what a guilty person would say." Said Rogue as she stood beside Jean while eyeing Tut.
"Yeah, until we get to the bottom of your secret relationship with Elosie, we're keeping an eye on you, Tut." Added Jean seriously with a slight frown, causing Pharaoh to wave his hands carelessly.
"Whatever, I don't care; do what you wish. So Rogue, Jean, and I are looking for something fun to do; I'm sure you know where to look." Replied Pharaoh with a shake of his head as he focused on Rogue, who completely switched up and happily smiled before calming down.
"I'm the person you're looking for, but I must ask, do you want the normal fun or the fun fun?" Asked Rogue quietly as she grabbed Jean and Pharoah and huddled them together as if they were about to make a sports play.
"What's the difference between the two?" Asked Jean curiously, earning her a mischievous smirk from Rogue.
"Normal fun, is normal; however, fun fun are things the teachers don't know or they wouldn't approve of." Said Rogue, her words causing Jean to nod in understanding while Pharaoh grinned.

I'd like to say, on the fandom Wikipedia, it's stated Eloise has the ability to wrap reality, and I'll just say this, if the mutant isn't Omega level, they will not have any stupidly broken powers such as that in this novel.
Also, a fun fact: I had actually planned for Rogue to talk with a goth mutant before I even knew of Eloise's existence, so out of curiosity, I looked up a goth mutant, and Eloise appeared.
