21 Chapter 21: School Life 4/6

Other than the fact that I learned Mr. Capsley was a pedophile, nothing interesting happened; he pretty much did the same thing as Mr. Dotson did, though since he wasn't as cool as him, it was all boring. I could tell Jean was still thinking about him being a pedophile, but she never brought it up with Mr. Capsley, which I think was good, mainly because she shouldn't ever mention it unless she's got evidence to back up her claim.

Once the bell rang again, we all got up and left; Jean was exceptionally quick, and I didn't catch up to her in time as she speedily exited the class, only to disappear amidst the crowd of students.

'Yep, she's really going into that bathroom.' Mused Pharaoh with a shake of his head as he decided to leave her to her devices while he headed to his fourth period.

My fourth period was another elective, robotic engineering, so it's no surprise why Pete chose that class; what nerd wouldn't pick such a class? Though the classroom was decently far away, so I was forced to walk amongst the crowd of students for about two minutes until I arrived in the classroom.

Entering the classroom, I noticed it was much larger than your average classroom, and it also had the same desks in science class; though I, unfortunately, didn't see any robot pieces readily available, they were all in a storage room behind a door, which was locked. However, unsurprisingly, Pete was already here, sitting by himself at the frontmost desk, looking like a model student.

'You know, if it wasn't for the fact that Pete was far more mature than every child I knew when I was younger, I don't think I'd ever be his friend; I've got nothing on nerds, it's just not people I'd actively try to befriend.' Pondered Pharaoh with a raised eyebrow as he approached Peter, sitting beside him.

"Yo, what's up with you, Pete? You didn't get beat up by that Flash dude again, did you?" Questioned Pharaoh curiously as he glanced at Peter, who just gave him a bland look.

"No, as a matter of fact, I didn't even see them again, though why do I have a feeling you kind of want it to happen?" Replied Peter seriously as he squinted his eyes through his glasses and suspiciously observed Pharaoh.

"I don't want you to get beat up or anything; I just want a stage where I can dance if you know what I mean." Said Pharaoh with a slight smirk as he started shadowboxing in his seat, causing Peter to shake his head.

"And I'm supposed to be the opening act?" Asked Peter, though all that earned him was Pharaoh wrapping his arm around him, bringing him closer.

"Well, who says the opening act has to be bad? I doubt Gwen told you last period, but she's apparently doing boxing; I'm considering joining her, so why not join both of us?" Questioned Tut with a grin as he glanced at Peter before aggressively rubbing his head, causing him to wince in pain before forcefully freeing himself.

"Ouch. No, Gwen didn't tell me that, but I don't know; I'm not athletic like her, nor am I that strong or big. I feel like it would just be a waste of time." Replied Peter as he rubbed his head before releasing a depressed sigh as he hung his head down.

"Besides, even if I wanted to join you and Gwen, you know my situation; our finances are rather tight. I don't think Uncle Ben and Aunt May have the extra cash to pay for my boxing classes." Added Peter while sulking about his circumstances.

"Ay, stop being a little bitch, Pete; if you want to join, you don't need to worry about the money, I can cover that, or really, my Mom will. She's got a PhD in Bioengineering and works at Lexcorp; she's making bank. Also, how do you expect to get athletic if you don't start exercising? You've got to start from somewhere, and regarding your scrawny physique, eat more food, and you'll slowly start to bulk up and put on weight; some of it will be fat, but some of it will be muscle." Remarked Pharaoh with an encouraging smile as he wrapped his arm around Peter again, though he didn't rub his head like before.

"Eh, I appreciate the offer, Tut, but I can't accept that; even if you've got more than enough money to spare, I don't want to accept free handouts." Replied Peter with a slight smile as he looked up at Tut before shaking his head, only for him to be smacked on the back, causing him to wince in pain again.

"Stop acting like that; it's not a free handout. We're friends, and friends help each other out. Besides, I'm sure my Mom would love to pay for your boxing classes when she learned you got bullied; don't tell Gwen or Jean, but I'm pretty sure my Mom likes you the best among you three." Stated Tut with a Grin as he whispered the last part into Peter's ear, prompting him to smile.

"Haa, if you say so, and if Mrs. Kent really doesn't mind paying, then I guess I'll join you and Gwen. I may not be able to beat up Flash, but at least I should be able to hold my own, hopefully." Said Peter with a sigh before shaking his head and giving Tut a smile of gratitude, which was reciprocated with a grin.

"Great; now I can beat up both you and Gwen, and I won't get in trouble. If only I could get Jean to join as well." Said Tut with a wicked grin as he rubbed his hands while Peter nervously gulped and scooted away.

"Maybe I should've declined his offer." Muttered Peter in slight fear as he looked at the wickedness oozing off Pharaoh.

After coercing Peter to join Gwen and I to go and do boxing, most of the class was us just talking, and while the teacher was late again, Mr. Green at least wasn't fucking a student; he was speaking with the principal cause apparently he caught some guy pissing in the hallway.

'Middle school is full of weirdos.' Muttered Pharaoh with a shake of his head.

With the bell already ringing and Mr. Gren still not present, mostly everyone just stood up and headed to lunch since our class had first lunch.

"Ay, c'mon, let's go, Pete." Said Tut as he stopped and turned around when he noticed Peter hadn't moved.

"Eh, you sure we should leave? Our Teacher hasn't arrived yet." Asked Peter skeptically while looking at everyone else leave, leaving just him and Tut alone in the classroom.

"C'mon Pete, do you really think Mr. Green will care? Just come on." Remarked Tut with a shake of his head as he reached over the table and practically dragged Peter over it.

"Alright, alright! You don't need to drag me; I'm coming. Ha, Gwen was right; you really are a brute." Said Peter as he barely managed to stop himself from falling off the table, though despite whispering, Pharaoh still heard him.

'I'll make sure to give Gwen a good haymaker when we start boxing.' Thought Pharaoh with a shake of his head as he exited the classroom along with Peter, who brought lunch from home.

"Haa, like this is what I'm talking about, Pete; I know you enjoy Dexter's Laboratory, but kids are definitely going to make fun of you for that." Said Pharaoh as he facepalmed while looking at the metal lunch box in Peter's hand, which had Dexter on the front.

"Why would they?" Asked Peter in confusion as he looked at his lunch box, finding nothing wrong with it.

"Because kids are stupid, even more so when they're in the midst of puberty. You could literally have The Rock from WWE on that lunch box, and kids will still find a reason to make fun of you; it'll just be way harder." Remarked Pharaoh with furrowed brows as he and Peter entered the noisy and crowded cafeteria.

If I had thought the elementary cafeteria was wild, then this was crazy; food was thrown across the place, people purposely spilling on the floor, and any second, it looked like a fight might break out. Speaking of fights, I saw Flash and his little buddies sitting at a table in the center of the cafeteria, though one of them had a bandage around his nose.

"Tsk, I thought I used enough strength to break his nose." Muttered Pharaoh with a slight frown, and while he was tempted to catch their attention, he held back.

"Um, is the cafeteria supposed to have this much mayhem?" Remarked Peter as he observed the numerous students causing a mess and creating a stir.

"Eh, probably; if it's like this one the first day of school, I imagine it will only get crazier. C'mon, let's go find a place to sit, preferably away from Flash and his bitch buddies, no need to drop them all in such a large setting." Replied Pharaoh, shrugging his shoulders as he started walking towards the tables, Peter following right behind while trying to locate Flash.

While walking, I noticed Flash had spotted me and was giving me what I could only assume was a death glare or something similar; as pathetic as it was for a grown man such as myself to pick on a bunch of annoying bullies, I'm not going to lie, it was kinda fun. Staring back at Flash with a smirk, we had a mini staring contest before he eventually grunted and looked away, prompting me to shake my head and ignore him.
