Martial Arts and Taming, only the best would soar high into the heavens and ascend into mythical beings. One would tap into the source of powers and essence of godlike beings and become gods.

The source of cultivation which was the World Will was emitting or so they called essence was constantly abundant in the lands. Making the flora and fauna cultivate too and sometimes ascend to humanoid beings. Making them inherit will or sentience in the process.

The Land Lee Xian was inhabiting was a place of solace and full of soothing views. As well as the magical creatures were also living in harmony and peace.

He was inside his herb garden and saw the goodness of the herbs he was tending. The herbs were moving and that means it was in its perfect condition. A mandrake, A snake plant, a pitcher plant, fly trap plant, and many more. Being a botanist and alchemist has its perks. Making him to smirk in just pure happiness. Especially, when he could collect all dangerous and rare exotic plants into his collection.

He sprinkled mana water into them and the plants felt happy. Some felt like smiling as he could perceive. But, What he could feel was, the mana essence was not enough, the air was dry with mana as he added recently some herbs. The mana emitted was not supplying enough and so, he would collect mana mushrooms. They were emitting mana essence naturally and would make the plants grow in a mana rich environment.

And so, he has to fetch mana mushrooms. Somewhere in the mushroom damp forest where mana mushrooms were abundant.

He planned to went to the place where he could find them. And then grabbed his backpack. It was enchanted with the space and thermal condition to take care of the herbs inside while travelling. Even when running or fighting.

He exited his house full of magical herbs and saw the foggy mountains. Small tips of mountains that felt chiselled was emerging from the foggy clouds were seen. It was a mix of peace and melancholy that felt with reverberating and palpable solitariness. Even he was alone in the mountains, he was not that depressed or sadness affect him. A cheerful spirit was within his heart and it caused him to be optimistic despite his parents died in a young age. Though, his older brother was already an Academy Student and a Grandmaster Martial Artist at that age and has a Martial Hall under him.

He was heading to the mushroom damp forest and crossed a swaying man made bridge. Clouds were seen hindering the vision at the bottom and it made him have an ample sceneric view at the moment.

He crossed bridges one after another and saw some beasts flying above him. Dragons, Beast birds, and, Phoenixes flying about; they were all above him and were heading towards the Academy.

As for him, he would go to the academy if he finished with his current business. He needed to finish it fast too. As being late would be also a punishment from his teachers.

Some knew him and then waved goodbye. They were his classmates and colleagues in his batch at elementary martial school. They were scorning him as he has yet to bind a beast to have a companion. Lee Xian was a picky one on what to bind with. And he had a hard time picking one, up until now.

There were beasts that one could bind with: some were dragons, some were birds, some on the ground.

He arrived at the last bridge to head to the Mushroom Forest and he saw blue lights hovering on the forest floor. They were small creatures that lights up the way and they were called Blue Beast Spirits.

Creatures that were spirits of the dead beasts that has strong souls. They survived as souls but did not yet went to the afterlife. He opened his backpack and then Lee Xian made an emition of Mana essence from his body to attract them.

They were collected by Lee Xian to become souls inside his beast realm. They would be a target of experiments as they were beasts from the past life. Knowing what they were in the past was also intruiging to learn into. It was called spirit identification and they could be revived into spirit beasts if you have strong beast cultivation.

Also, there were plants that were alive and some could talk, especially the mandrake root. He traverse the forest floor, looking for what he ought to find and then alas saw some of them. He collected the mana mushrooms that talked.

"Hey! Who are you? Why are you here?" The voice was pitchy and cute. Resembling of a small child.

Lee Xian did not replied and he proceeded to pick it up, carefully and not uprooting its roots. "Hmm, snubber!" it talked again.

Lee Xian just chuckled and he put it inside his bag.

While he was at it, he collected several varieties of mushrooms and the ones that were edible and some that were poisonous or with medicinal value. Then proceeded to went home as fast as he could.

With it, he arrived at home and put the mushrooms to specific places to have even distributions of mana essence. It was fun especially when all the plants were talking with each other.

He was collecting mana mushrooms to put inside the house as he grows mana herbs and also, he was a herbalists and grows herbs on his house, adding to it was, he was also an alchemist.

This world was a magical world that was almost all living things are sentient, even a grass would develop a will or talk when they reached or ascend to Legendary rank.

And with that, he was heading to the Academy to go to school again. He was a student of the Martial Beast Academy. Also known as Martial Beast Tamer Academy. Also he was travelling towards the Apothecary and herbalist to buy medicine from them inside the school itself. Wondering what concoctions to make for his sentient herbs to grow. He was contemplating until, he heard a momentarily silence. To the point that it was deafening.

Boom!

He felt alerted and concluded, he needed to check it out. Upon several times of booming sound, he saw a mimic beast that was chased by Demonic humanoids. Three of them. The forest was disturbed and it's trees were sent flying with every sound. Soon after, there were a booming sound emitted right after a straight line of devastation of trees were made. Making another straight line and a crater was made. It continued for several moments until the booming sound came nearer and nearer.

Mimic beasts were brown creature that took a liking to morph into a dragon like appearance. Though, it's primary form was like a slimy goo.

It was weakened and wounded, when it approached him. Lee Xian was concerned about the beast, but after seeing that it was wounded and it was chased by Demonic Humanoids, he concluded to help the Mimic Beast.
