Rules to live with (Edited)

Amandla quickly parked the car and hurried to the house, all she wanted was a good sleep. To her disappointment, the annoying guy was waiting for her in the living room. "Stop right there."

She rolled her eyes and stopped then turned slowly. He walked from across the room and stood right in front of her. His hands tucked in his pocket "What?" she asked all the while eying him.

"There are rules we are going to live with." She rolled her eyes at that. "One of the rules, is we don't mind each other's business. Two, you are free to do what you want except interfere with my business. Three, this marriage is strictly a secret unless otherwise, from my end that is. Four, you can bring only one person of your choice to this house. Five, you are not allowed to leave this villa without informing the butler of your whereabouts, and sixth, you will have shadow bodyguards for your safety. None of the rules is free for discussion."

Amandla nodded; did she even have a choice? "Taken, boss, may I leave now?"

"And since you do not have a credit card, you can have my black card for being my wife by convenience."

Her face lit up, now here are the benefits, eh? Maybe fictional stories weren't all false huh? She stretched her hand and he dropped the black card in her open hand. She swung it on her fingers and walked to her room not even stopping to wonder how he realized she didn't have a credit card. Thank God she had mastered her room's direction. The boring rules he had said didn't even concern her. As long she had the card, she was good for the rest of her life. Though she wanted to revenge on her family and her ex-boyfriend, that would need planning for later.

The next morning, she woke up early and met the thing she called her husband having breakfast, it was going to be an issue seeing this face every day. She sat at the furthest end of the table, had her breakfast in silence, and left the room, before stepping out of the door; she remembered she was supposed to inform the butler of her whereabouts.

"Butler, I will be going to school." She left for the car park and took a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster.

Fanning her face, she stepped in but not before she ran a look at the car. She looked at the frame of the windscreen and the area surrounding the fins which were finished in gloss black. Inside the car was another world. Its aerospace with cutting-edge technology; active matrix TFT display and the Drive Select Mode system was made with the highest quality materials one could imagine. All this was in Italian tradition, goodness!

The white interior dazzled as if reminding her that this was called richness. She rested her head on the headrest and sighed. Since she got into this villa, she had done nothing except adore everything her eyes laid on. Indeed, there was a definition of wealthy and rich and this husband of hers was the richest of the rich.

Surely, how can one man have all the most expensive cars in the world not to mention his house? Just who did she marry? No offense, but she wasn't so materialistic, being with Lucy made her open her eyes a little bit, otherwise, she was naïve as hell and Lucy had to take her time to teach her different car models and all that not to forget Louise's role too.

As she stared at the car, she laughed at herself. From a shanty to a villa, how interestingly weird was her life? She looked forward to seeing her sister's and her ex-boyfriend's faces when they see the privileges she had. The heavens seemed to have heard her because she arrived right after Patrick and Amber were alighting from their car.

All eyes followed her car and when she alighted, she made sure she swung her hair and switched the car shut with her keys before walking to her class as if nobody was present. On her way, she couldn't help catching sight of the shocked and confused looks on her step-sister's and ex-boyfriend's faces. Grinning inwardly, she high-fived herself mentally.

The first step of payback, she smiled, there was still more to go. Her eyes flickered with dangerous emotions as she sat in the middle row of her class.
