Imperial club - I

Chloe was excited when she heard the manager of the imperial club tell 'her you are hired' she couldn't believe her ears , she thanked the manager profusely and walked out with one of the waitresses that was supposed to show her around and brief her on her duties.

" I still can't believe they will hire someone at such short notice, I must say you're a lucky one" Anita said to Chloe.

" What can I say I am indeed lucky " Chloe replied knowing deep down that Daisy's brother Harry put in a good word for her.

" Let's go to the changing room ,so you can change into your uniform for the day " she said and led the way to the changing room for Chloe to follow suit.

Displeasure showed visibly on Chloe's face when she saw the waitress uniform she was going to wear , she didn't hesitate to voice it out .

" What in the heavens name is this ? "

" What ?" Anita asked confused

" This cloth is too revealing for me to wear am supposed to be a waitress not a stripper"

" Oh the cloth?You know this is not a regular club but an imperial club where the billionaires and the high class in this city come to chill and have fun after having a stressful day in their offices .

" You should count yourself lucky you got to work here of all places " she snapped and eyed Chloe warily.

After much persuasive speech from Anita , Chloe began to see reason with her , she changed into her waitress uniform. ' damn the consequences I have debts to pay ' Chloe said encouragingly to herself. She needs this job and the money was worth it.

After changing into her uniform she followed Anita into the club , what she saw made her mouth hang agape for some minutes.

Music was blaring from the speakers placed at the corners of the club, the whole place was noisy with color lights displaying everywhere, young girls that she presumed were from the rich class of the society dressed in mini skirts and tops danced and swayed their hips to the music that was blaring from the speakers. Strippers who wore almost nothing danced erotically on the stages with masks covering their faces, while some were without mask.

Moans were coming from almost all the corners of the place with people she presumed were a couple were busy making out in the open place and she found that quite alarming.

Anita followed Chloe's line of sight and saw what made her stand transfixed at a place and she laughed at her naivety .

" Look , I understand it's your first time doing this kind of work . That is why you have to be careful and stay out of sight to avoid falling prey to some lusty men " she advised

" I wonder if you're still going to work here after witnessing this things" Anita jokes, Chloe smiled not fully equipped with the right frame of mind

" I hope you keep yourself in check" Anita advised Chloe who seemed to be lost in thought whether to continue or back out since it's never too late. Snapped out of it when she heard Anita's warnings.

" Sure I will , because I am here for work and that's what I will do " Chloe replied, and braced herself for the work at hand.

In the office of the manager of imperial club

" Chloe you will be replacing Sandra ,she called in sick . " Manager Dave announced and Chloe nodded

" That's being settled, you will be the waitress handling vip room 3 "

" Ok sir " Chloe replied happily, she couldn't believe she nailed it ! Now she only has to work for a few nights to pay up her father's debt and release him from police custody .

Chloe stood at the counter after delivering drinks to vvip 3 she heaved a sigh and smiled at herself for her bravery to carry out her task so meticulously despite it being her first time as a waitress , she also got a tip from the customers for her diligent services. But her joy was cut short when Anita who was handling vvip room 1 came to ask her a favor.

" Chloe, please help me and deliver this wine to vvip 1, am pressed I need to ease myself" Anita said and gave her the tray that contained 'Screaming Eagle Cabernet ' the most expensive wine the have in the club that was made in 1992 , she wondered who was the billionaire that ordered a wine.$500,000 . Anita thanked her and left for the restroom.

Daisy's words echoed in her ears, " Chloe you will meet all sorts of people in the nightclub, it's not gonna be easy to work there. But you will earn a lot of money there ". Chloe shakes her head and makes for vvip 1.
