Chapter 71: The Bad Ex-Wife and Little Nephew (2) (New)

Rachel settled nicely into beautiful studio apartment.

Laís's not poor without her husband, in fat she had a couple of shares from major company in her name. She had her own money and never really used her husband.

That is one reason why the divorce papers could happen so quickly. She didn't need to take anything from Reginaldo.

This apartment has been in her name for years, she bought it for herself when she successfully got into her number one choice for school. The Studio was sect for a clothing designer.

The only thing is the large amount of clothes, she dragged each one out and placed them into an empty room they were a lot of bags and clothes and jewelry.

She smiled and decided to go to sleep, she cannot wait for tomorrow. She of course was using this as a way to not think about how bad she felt for the young male lead.

The next day, Rachel walked into the Lawyer's office. The one who approved of the divorce paperwork for her. His name is Arnaldo Pereira Guimarães, he is the uncle of her husband's future wife.

The Guimarães is an old declining family, the uncle and his niece who will marry the male lead's father are the only two remaining members. The reason she chose his is because he and his niece of all people wanted to see her and her husband divorce.

Yasmin Leal Guimarães, had been the on and off again girlfriend of Reginaldo since high school. The two still see each other, not in an affair kind of way, but, they have that 'what could have been' in their eyes.

"He sighed." Rachel said with a blank face. "He still has all his properties intact; I didn't take a single penny."

Arnaldo gave her a look, and then back down, He verified everything. He was excited happy; his niece can marry a powerful man. The man picked up his checkbook.

"I suppose you want money?" He asked first while being completely entranced in the document.

"No, I want the Shares you have to Valquíria" Rachel said, Valquíria, is a fashion company. That went big when Laís's was young, she had always wanted to work there.

Arnaldo frowned at her, the company is a high brand one, but lately it has been declining. It is expected to go bankrupt if the next season does not produce results. Then he relaxed, he thought Laís's was a stupid woman, so she probably does not know what she is doing.

He of course is willing to give, a denying dog to a willing owner.

Rachel walked out of the building, looking at the transfer of shares, happiness overflowed on her beautiful face making heads turn. The next thing that happened.

"Mrs. Sanches , I have located Miss Freitas. We have all her information in our office right now."

"Thank You." Rachel put her phone back into their bag and head her way to the detective agency she hired to find her sister. Zélia Leitão de Freitas is the biological sister of Laís, she was disowned a little bit after the wedding of her and Reginaldo.

She had no time to care for her younger sister, and by the time she sounds out about her sister's predicament she had left the country.

Rachel walked into the building after a pit stop getting a cup of coffee, the love of Coffee following her from her days as Nick. Shelly liked coffee so she went for it to, Rachel misses Shelly's caramel flavored Coffee.

She picked up the packet and read through its contents right then and there.

Zélia Leitão de Freitas, went to the Naplio's (Canada) two months into her pregnancy. She gave birth to a baby boy named Samuel. Later she contracted an illness.

She was foreigner in a country she does not have family in. Of course, the authorities only went as far as giving her a proper burial and sending her son to an orphanage.

Zélia, died last year. Meaning her son is around five years old. Rachel closed the envelope and dialed a number on her phone. She was going to Canada to pick of her Nephew.
