Rachel walked out of her room, with this strange confidence overflowing, like she had nothing to worry about. She saw the little male lead out of the corner of her eye and turned to face him.
The little boy looked at her quickly and then turned away.
The boy's face overlapped with her husband when he was young. Making Rachel frown, the boy was scolding and giving the servants a hard time.
She inwardly sighed, Laís really could not love this child, she tried in the beginning. But the maternal instinct was not emerging. With a blank expression, that turned cold she walked past them and ignored the servants pleading eyes.
By the time she came back it was night, she had come back with a packet. Her husband Reginaldo Espíndola Sanches, was in his office sorting through paperwork.
When Rachel walked in the first things she said was "Let's divorce!" was the first thing to come out of her mouth "I have already had it approved by a Lawyer. You only need to sign, and I will have nothing to do with you," Rachel said.
The man finally looked up and raised his eyebrows. There was a trace of impatience in his eyes. 'What trouble was this woman making?' he thought.
Rachel had long understood that Laís's husband had a misunderstanding about her. He had always thought she was in love with him. Not true, she just hated him and hated everything about him. Nothing ever warranted otherwise.
No idea how he thought she loved him.
Seeing that he was not convinced, Rachel walked directly to Reginaldo. He didn't raise his hand. His eyes just swept over the content on the paper, and then there was a trace of ridicule on his face.
Stupid and ridiculous. He facial expressions show all he thought of her.
Rachel wanted to smack him, and she was already having a hard time trying to keep, Laís's hate of him on hold. "You sign the paper. I will leave Sanches's house immediately and never be entangled with you again."
She saw that his eyes were unwilling to stay on Rachel's face more. He was displeased and said, "Are you so bored?"
"…" Rachel did not move or say anything, she continued to stare. Her husband gritted his teeth with maliciousness. He took the pen and sighed it quickly and then looked up at Rachel's relieved face.
He wanted to see her panic-stricken and embarrassed look.
Inexplicably as he was anticipating, he was more determined in his heart that she would beg him within a moment. She was only using this as a means to intimidate him and had no real thoughts of separation.
Then, without turning back, she walked calmly away.
Reginaldo sneered as she walked away. 'After so many years, she finally climbed into his bed with unbearable means and became his wife. Would she give up?'
If Rachel heard him, she would have called him an D*******, their marriage had been arranged since they where kids. Neither of them had a choice and both
When Rachel got to her room, she felt some weight lift off her chest. She immediately started packing, She sighed inwardly at the closet full of clothes. Suddenly she wished she did not leave her shadow-weaving behind for this world.
Packing up she put suitcases full of clothes into her system inventory. She also did not neglect her jewelry or her clothes. It took over an hour to completely empty the closet and her room of personal items.
She had one suitcase and one bag left that would not fit in her inventory.
Walking downstairs with her suitcases she grabbed her car keys and placed them inside. When she felt eyes staring at her she looked up at the front door. To see the little male lead his eyes slightly red as he was watching her leave.
Rachel carried on a blank expression, she felt that she was cold-hearted. But, Laís's truly refuses to love her son. This scene would have broken anyone's heart. A little boy watching his mom leave.
But she felt nothing, nothing.
Getting in the car she drove off, as the little boy watched.
