189 Trick 188: All in a days work...

Ace was investigating a disturbance in Peter's life. The reason was there was something that wasn't there before!

Ace was flying around New York before disappearing and reappearing in front of a dog. He squatted down and smiled "Hello! You must be the new guy in town, why don't you come with me." The dog barked and turned around to run away, however, Ace grabbed him and held him up by the tail, grinning "You must be Venom."

The Dog turned black with large white eyes, saying "Who are you?! A wizard?! I saw you flying!" Ace rolled his eyes and said "Something like that… How did you get here?" as he flew to a roof.

Venom got out of the dog and crawled on Ace's hand, a head coming out of the symbiote, looking around. Ace sent the dog back down and grabbed the Symbiote, looking at it curiously.

Venom looked at him for a moment before melting into his skin. Ace was stunned and looked at his empty hand, saying "What are you doing??" Venom replied in his head "Bonding! We need brains!"

Ace was dumbfounded, saying "Get out of my body, Venom!" Venom replied from inside "No! OUR body!" Ace shouted "This isn't Russia!" as his eyes started glowing purple, Venom started covering Ace on the outside and they both screamed.

Ace flashed into the sky a few times before stepping on a piece of ice in the Arctic, not too far away from Avengers Mountain.

Ace fell to his knees and his body exploded with purple light, turning the Ice into solid gold as it started sinking. Venom screeched, "Hurts! WE'RE IN PAIN!" Ace roared "GET OUT!"

As the water turned into sand, dust, dirt, stone before just disappearing entirely, leaving Ace floating there.

His entire body was covered in black as he stood on the air. His cape fluttered behind him. His hood was up but Venom's eyes shone through, completely bright purple and wisping outside the hood.

Ace's hands were replaced with black claws and he took off the hood, revealing a huge mouth full of sharp teeth as he said "Look what you did, Venom!" Venom replied "Wow! We are invincible! Let's go get that Spider-Man!"

Ace pulled his face apart, shouting "No! Get out of me! Damn it!" Venom said childishly "No! I like it here!" Ace let go of his face and snorted in frustration, "This sucks. I don't want you!" Venom replied "I want you!"

Ace shouted "You can't have me!" as the symbiote started mutating! Venom said quickly "ARGH! What's happening to us?!" Ace groaned, "I don't know!" as he smashed his hands out, silver claws replacing his fingers and toes, rings of bright purple runes were engraved on his arms and legs!

His legs morphed into a digitigrade structure!

Ace groaned and Venom shouted in shock "Evolving?! How strong are you!?" Ace retorted angrily "Very!" before grunting "Enough!" as he shot into the sky.

He stopped high up in the air and pressed on the air, a mirror appearing.

Ace and Venom looked at themself, Ace said angrily "Look what you did!" Venom retorted "It wasn't my fault!" Ace shouted "You bonded to me! Unbond! Get out of here! This is what I get for being careless!" Venom replied "So?! We are stronger! We are Venom!"

Ace shouted angrily "I am not Venom! You are Venom! I'm Ace! Cloak! You get it?!" Venom hummed and said "You are right. Now we will be Magic Venom!" Ace blew his top, roaring "NO! NO FUNNY NAMES!"

Suddenly, Tony flew over and held out his palms, saying "Who are you!? An alien!? Earth is closed today!" Ace turned to him and said "Tony, it's me." Tony was stunned and put his hands down, "Ace? What happened to you? Got a makeover? I have to say, you should fire whoever your stylist is."

Ace groaned angrily and said "It's the Venom Symbiote. He bonded to me, this is what happened." Tony flew around Ace, saying "Really? And you let him?" Ace retorted angrily "Not on purpose! I didn't even know what he did… It's my first time seeing a Symbiote! How am I supposed to know he would bond with me!?"

Venom spoke out loud "We are Magic Venom! Can we eat your brain?" Tony looked at Ace and said "Well, I've never heard such a polite request! I have a pretty big brain and I know a bigger one!" Venom got excited and Ace said "Can you stop making him excited please? I think he will really try and eat you."

Tony was amazed, asking "How does that work? Do you also eat the brain? This is awesome!" Ace tore Venom off his face, revealing his own as he said "Get back inside!" Venom shouted "NO!" 

Tony tilted his head and asked "Can't you just take him out?" Ace sighed helplessly, "I don't want to kill him. I don't even know how it works." Venom covered him again, grinning "I like you too!" Ace retorted angrily "I never said that!" Venom nodded, "We know you love us."

Tony laughed and said "Come with me, we can check it out… Can you control him?" Ace flew next to him, saying "He has no control, he's just annoying…" Venom shouted "We are not annoying!" Ace sighed, "Right… This is a crime. Forcible Confinement!" Tony chuckled and flew off, saying "We just finished the entire lab and workshop. We can check him out."

Ace followed Tony and they arrived at Avengers Mountain, T'Challa was sitting in his own penthouse room at the top of the Black Celestial's head. Tony also had a penthouse in the Gold one but the lab and workshop was in the connected back of the two.

A few minutes later

Ace was laying down in a cylindrical device that was scanning his body. T'Challa was there looking at the results, saying "Incredible. This Symbiote has bonded to his cells and forcibly changed them… or rather they were forcibly evolved!"

Tony was looking over the results and hummed to himself as Ace said "Can you take him out of me without hurting him?" Venom growled, "I don't want to leave…" Tony walked over and said "Not really! He's kinda… stuck in there for now… We don't know anything about the Symbiote at all. This is going to require more testing, but hey! Maybe we can use this to our advantage!"

Ace sat up from the device, asking "How?" Tony smiled and tapped on the results, saying "Maybe a breakthrough in my armor forms. There's a limit to how much nanobots I can store in a single housing unit. But if I can crack the Symbiote forming system, I can probably make an armor similar to it… But I'll need extensive research, so say goodbye to your paid vacations."

Ace held his face and groaned, "Fine… If it can help get Venom out of me, then so be it…" T'Challa looked at the symbiote properties and muttered "Hmm… This could be fun!" Ace turned to him and sighed, "Now I know how Banner feels…"

Tony chuckled and Ace asked "Where IS Banner anyway?" Tony waved, "Went to see his cousin." Ace sighed and said dramatically "Just don't cut me cut up, Doc!" Tony waved a scalpel, "Oh, my boy, you'll become better, faster, stronger! We can rebuild you! We have the technology!"

T'Challa's lips twitched next to them, muttering "Freaks…"

A few months later

Ace was eating a chocolate bar, saying "I can't believe you, honestly." Venom replied "We only wanted to help…" Ace retorted "You almost ate that guy's brains!" Venom was silent before saying "We're sorry." Ace snorted and said "Good! When I figure out how to make you stop eating brains, you won't have this problem anymore…"

He was in his normal form, after extensive tests, Tony and T'Challa knew everything there was to know about Symbiotes, unfortunately the construction was halted during this time.

Not only that but Banner left the Earth with Korg and Miek, going to Sakar! So they were down a scientist…

Tony and T'Challa created synthetic symbiotes from the tests and didn't need Ace to go through any more tests. Though they found out that Symbiotes were vulnerable to fire and sound waves. However, this was only from Venom's mouth because this Venom didn't have this problem, strangely. He did before but after he bonded to Ace, his problems disappeared.

So the only way to get Venom out was to take him out violently or him leaving on his own, but Ace got used to him so it wasn't really an issue… Ace had been thinking, he could probably take Venom out with his magic, right?

He decided to try something and his eyes glowed purple as he flew towards a disturbance. Venom said "Huh?! I… I don't need brains anymore?" Ace let out a breath, "So I don't need to know how it works, cool." Venom asked "What did you do to us?!"

Ace ate the rest of the chocolate, saying "I rewrote your reality. You don't need brains to survive, you can just intake oxygen for survival. You're welcome." Venom was stunned and Ace added, "Look alive."

As he dropped from the sky, Venom covering him.

Ace landed behind 4 guys and a large green woman, he stood up and cracked his neck, saying "Alright, hand over the magical artifacts, idiots." a large tongue escaping the black hood.

The 4 guys fell on their asses and Ace sighed, "Hurry up, I have a life too." as he curled his claws. A construction helmet, crowbar, safety gloves, and flail flew over to him. They were all glowing with different colors and Ace put them away as he walked towards the woman.

He stepped past the 4 idiots and froze them from the neck down before standing in front of the woman, saying "Jen Walters, right?" Jen looked at him and frowned "And you are? You don't look like the wizard I saw on TV."

Ace chuckled and said "Things change, I made a new friend… Anyway, unfortunate accident for you. Originally, I wasn't going to do anything, but seeing as how I'm now here, I'll help you." Jen frowned and replied "Help how? Exactly?"

Ace waved his claw, saying "Well, you're Banner's cousin. You became a Hulk by accident. I'll help you return to normal, it's very simple rea-" before catching a fist as he changed his words, "Woah."

Jen glared at him, saying "I don't need help! Not from anyone! Especially not a man!" Ace tilted his head and asked "I'm sorry… Are you confused?" Jen frowned, "What?" Ace laughed, "Do you think that maybe… You're stronger than me?"

He clenched his fist around Jen's, stepping forward as he pushed her to her knees, "I don't have time for your bullshit feminist agenda, Jen. Nor will I entertain the idea of another Hulk walking loose in the streets. You're not stronger than the Hulk and you have no idea about being a hero, let me make this very clear…"

He grabbed her neck and lifted her into the air, saying "We don't need you. Got it?" as he slammed her into the ground, adding "So be a good girl and shut the fuck up." His eyes glowed brightly and a goopy purple energy covered Jen's entire body.

A green mist came out of her and she slowly reverted to normal, struggling in his grasp.

Ace let go and captured the green mist in a bubble, humming to himself "What is this? Essence of Hulk? Man… Magic is so cool!" as he jumped into the sky, fracturing the sidewalk, disappearing instantly.

Jen laid on the ground, staring at the sky in a daze, unable to believe she wasn't She-Hulk anymore…

Ace flew away with the ball of green mist before it fizzled away into purple smoke, Venom asked "We don't need that?" Ace snorted "We don't need that. I'm a Wizard, not a close combat fighter… Which is why you should leave me!"

Venom replied "No." Ace groaned "Fine!" as he disappeared.

The next place Ace was in was an Avenger-Con, back to normal form.

He looked at the destruction a little girl caused with a magic bracelet and pressed a claw out. A swinging Mjolnir stopped and the girl hanging onto it for dear life was slowly floated to the ground.

Ace floated in the air and the people on the ground screamed "Cloak! Oh my god! I can't believe this!" Ace ignored them and sighed, saying "Another irresponsible kid…" as he hooked a finger. 

The little girl's magic bracelet was removed from her wrist and flew to Ace, who grabbed it, muttering "One after the other, really…" before turning around. The little girl said "Hey! Wait! That's a family heirloom!" 

Ace turned around and flipped his palm silently, another bracelet exactly the same appeared and flew to the girl. He nodded at her and took the real bracelet as he flew off, phasing through the roof.

The little girl looked at the bracelet and sighed, "Oh man… mom's gonna kill me!"

Ace checked his phone, sighing "Where to next? So many magical artifacts are popping up out of nowhere now! It's a serious issue!"
