Writing Quality -There is consistency when it comes to vivid descriptions. (I've said it in the chapter comments but I'll say it here too:)) -I have no right to tell whether this book has typos or errors when it comes to grammar since I'm not good at grammar as well. -I didn't notice any misspelled words/terms -Well for me, the writing style has caught my attention Stability of update -It looks like that the author updates daily since it says that this book has been recently updated 19hrs ago World background -I have no complaints when it comes to this category. -The world background is amazing, there are instances wherein the author uses facts and trivia (Well they sound like facts to me so I'm assuming they are) Character Development -I love the characteristics of the characters, but by far Dara is my favorite -The author describes the characters in a vivid way, giving readers an easier time to imagine how they look. Story Development -It doesn't seem to be rushed nor does it seem to be slow. The novel has a perfect pace. -Despite the long chapters, there are paragraphs that motivates the readers to continue reading. Overall: The story is unique. I highly recommend this novel to those who have a passion for cooking or for those who excel in agriculture. Those who aren't that good with cooking and agriculture, however, I still suggest them to read this novel since they can learn a lot from this book. The author updates lately so the readers won't be left behind. The author has also profound knowledge when it comes to the economy, recipes, and agriculture. I am not very observant on grammar, so I can't really say if there are typos or errors. Anyways, keep up the good work author!

I like to apologise in advance since I'm not that good at making reviews. As someone who rarely reads books like this, this book has me intrigued. I decided to read until the 10th chapter to get a good grasp of the story and so far it has been very interesting. The plot of the story caught my attention, especially of it being related to agriculture. Kudos to the author for this! The detailed description of each scene made it easier to visualise and shows how much effort the author has shown. Even the characters were well-written as well. The world building of the author is something to appreciate as well. My only problem is that it took me awhile to realise that the characters were conversing with each other. It would be nice to use " " to indicate that there's a dialogue happening between characters. There were some grammatical errors, but it's minor mistakes that could be easily overlooked. Keep up the good work author!

I wouldn't really call this work a novel or fiction, but a documentary--even though the characters, the plots, the stage where it all happened are made up and semi-fictional, it is distinctively written in documental style, like someone is filming MC's career as a farmer for academic purpose: because you can read everything MC thought and every step he took as detailedly as possible, to the degree that you will know the exact weight of each agricultural product. It reminds me of the business cases I read in college: realistic, narrative records that take down all the information about how people start their business and make decisions that is useful in a business research sense. That's my general impression of this book, a business case about a farming enterprenuer in fictional world. Which leads me to the problems. Obviously, you have to give credits to author's extraordinary knowledge of an amazingly wide range of subjects--It's rare and exciting, as a Chinese myself, to see someone who's so familiar with our culture. This requires a great amount of research, something that only someone with the spirit of old-time naturalists and a pure, noble curiosity can achieve. However, the core nature of novel--this form of literature work--is drama, theatricality, conflicts, suspense, which is something this book is lacking. The author focuses too much on presenting the details and knowledge in a way as realistic as possible, that he seems to forget he's writing a novel and telling a story to his readers, instead of making a research report to a group of scholars. And though I sense this may contradict with the author's ideology of writing, to make the story dramatic, theatrical, gripping, one has to rely on exaggeration and distortion, which means to some degree, to "disrespect" reality and knowledge. A novelist may omit something that does not serve a role in the plots and burden the pace of story progress, even if it's scientific and educational, and may add something that increases the intense of conflicts and the uniqueness of characters, even if it's totally meaningless in reality. The story always comes first. Certainly, reality also plays a significant role in this, but its function--to use a metaphor of stage show scenario--is like the costumes and accessories the actors wear to make them look closer to the characters they play, the props, paintings and murals used on the background to give the audience a feeling of immersion, and actors' vivid, lively expressions and tunes to convince the viewers their emotions are real, so real that even the viewers will deeply sympathize with them, and cry or laugh. The status of reality in novels is always an honored guest in the house that makes the party cooler, but not the host, and that's the case even in realistic novels. So what I am suggesting is that the author either changes his direction into a completely realistic, documentary area--e.g. it will be very interesting for me to read about how author himself travels into different countries and learn about all sorts of rare knowledge of local cultures and his thoughts of it; or tries harder on the "novel" part of the novel. I would recommend the first one much more personally, because I have the impression that the author has an evident researcher personality, so the first one would be a better fit for your nature XD

While I am not a huge fan of historical agriculture, as a whole the idea behind the novel is pretty good and unique. There are plenty of facts scattered throughout the novel that one can relate to in real life. There is also a lot of effort put in towards the development of the main character Dara and world around him as well. There is a ton of detail put into Dara's reactions and thoughts throughout the novel which allows the reader to get a good grasp on his personality. The main con that I would find in this novel however, is grammar. Some of the grammar makes the novel a bit confusing and the documentary-like style it is written in can make it hard to understand when your first starting out. Lastly, while I like effort put into detail, I feel like there's a bit too much. Maybe the author corrected these things in future updates that I did not catch up to, but if the author has time they could edit the initial chapters a bit to make it more accessible to newer readers.

As a girl who grew up in a small farm, I was glad to find this gem here in WN. I had finished reading the first volume and all I can say that the chapters are well detailed, which is good. You include the How's and what to do in this piece. You also tackle the process of building a business which happens in real life. Also, the MC knows what he was doing, weighing the risk he was about to take. I like the fact the fact that you encourage eating healthy foods in there and have written the benefits of the fruits and vegetable which I very much appreciate. As a consumer, I really wanted to know what benefits of the foods I'm going to consume. And lastly, I would like to apologize that I'm not really good at writing reviews. Best thing since slice bread, good work Author!

I'm not smooth with this genre but it's pretty interesting. Honestly the writing quality is nice. I went through the first and the second chapter and it's drives me to the third. So I think I'm enjoying it.

This novel is not bad but its not for me. Why - it provides too much detail, not and I felt like I was reading a text book instead of a novel. This is coming from a detailed person and it was a bit challenging reading the chapter. Wishing the author all the best. Take care.

As some reviewers have mentioned, this novel reads similarly to a business document or a report, though it certainly introduces a realistic look at farming and agriculture. Onto the more serious review... First, the signals. It took me quite a while to realize which part is a conversation, which part is the thoughts, and which part is explanation. It would help if you separate them with the common signals, such as putting conversations in quotation marks like "_____" this. Usually, thoughts are in italics, or in apostrophes like '____' this. Second, the grammar. I can read this novel, but on the other hand, there are times where I get the feeling that some words are unavailable in English, and you used a direct translation from Chinese language. In addition, there was some odd spelling and choice of words. If you have a beta-reader, or the help of a computer software to detect grammatical mistakes, I'm sure your work will shine even more! Third, drama. I think that this documentary-style writing is unique and enjoyable, but on the other hand, the core of a novel is a conflict, a drama... and as of now I can't really see it. As some reviewers have mentioned, maybe you can add something to cause ******* without abandoning the unique documentary style? As I'm not too well-versed in realistic writing, I can't really give advice on how, unfortunately. It's just a gut feeling of mine. Keep writing! For review purposes, I only read a small part, but I'll continue later.

A fictitious documentary - a fantasy system in the Farmers world. Detail driven. I stopped at chapter ten for this review, and will pick it back up as time permits.

I like the information and story. It's unique and very interesting. The thing that mostly gets me is that the syntax and readability, which has changed and got better in comparison to where the author has started, is still off-putting to me. It disrupts the flow of the reading. Perhaps try using Grammarly or another tool to help grammar mistakes. It's pretty advanced as it can fix both simple errors like grammar and complex problems like passive voice, incorrect use of complex or run-on sentences, etc. I would also continue to use more signal phrases, aka always quote when people are talking to the main character, and say "___" said, concluded, sighed, etc. This typically helps the reader know what's going on when they're reading it and helps your reader's flow. Hope this helps!

This novel is very different to other stories but it took my attention and I'm curious what would happen next! Anyway, the writing quality of this story is good however there is some grammatical errors but I think the author is doing his best to improve the writing quality of the novel. I think the author focuses on the details in agriculture and this would be more interesting if there are some scenes about the main character's background and other supporting characters (and why they are in an agriculture field) while introducing agriculture to the readers. In that way, the readers would be familiar with agriculture knowledge instead of forgetting the terms while reading throughout the story. Although, I'm still on chapter 3 so I still don't know about the next chapters. But that's just my suggestion and it would be always the decision of the author how would their novel would turn out to be. Good luck author! Will continue to read this story. :)

From what I have read so far this is really unique. I actually never read a novel like this before. My only issue is there are no quotes on dialogue. Which makes it somewhat confusing when reading. It actually took me a minute to realize I was reading the dialogue at one point. But if you are looking for something new to read then try this out. Chapters are long which is good. Good job Author! 😁

your chapters are pretty long which is nice. webnovel readers like it this way. however, I'd advise you to shorten your synopsis a little it. some of us readers prefer a short, simple yet straightforward synopsis. but apart from that, you did a great job

Not usually the type of genre I go for, but the story is unique and detailed. The plot is coming along pretty well, and the characters are believable. The way the author describes the scenes are able to convey to the readers what is happening as the plot unfolds. You may want to note that sometimes you miss out the quotations for speech between two characters. Other than that, there are a few minor grammar mistakes that can be overlooked. Keep up the good work! :)

I’ve always liked novels with secondary professions or that focus on production activities success as farming, since i’d already planned for my first novel to include farming although not in such a detailed way as this Novel. Even if there are mistakes about the use of english, it doesn’t change that this is a very interesing story and it can be useful for those who include farming in their own stories.
