Secret Garden

The birds fly me over the Dark Forest and we land in a little grotto. It's peaceful all around with gentle gusts of wind here and there.

I go over to the waterfall and as I walk through the tall grass, fairies light up the ground.

I smile happily and look into the little pond to see a few water nymphs. I stretch out my arm and one grabs it, pulling me into the pond. The pond was a lot deeper then it looked. I turned myself into a siren.

They lead me to an underwater cave filled with all kinds of crystals that start to glow as we pass them.

"Where are you leading me," I ask, as we enter a separate room that goes up to a cave above water. I go sit on the edge and turn back to myself.

"This a place no human has visited in thousands of years," one replied. "Go, look around."

"Okay," I agree smiling, I stand up and walk farther into the cave. After a few minutes, I see a faint light up ahead. As I get closer, I see that the light was coming from under a cave entrance covered mostly by hanging vines.

I move them aside to find a garden lite by the light of the moon coming from the open ceiling. There's even a little walkway along with a few benches. In the center of the round cavern room without a ceiling, is a huge fountain covered in white ivy and its flowers.

I walk up to it and sit on the rim, looking into the rippling waters. I tap the water with my finger and something in the top dish starts to glow.

I stand up and climb up the dishes and peer into the top one. I put my hand in it and feel around.

Feeling something long and narrow, I pulled it out. It was a silver kanzashi with a white pearl flower perched at the end and dark green emeralds hanging off of its wider end. They looked like tiny ivy leaves and the cords that held them looked like vines wrapping around a branch. The emeralds glow the green light as I put it into my hair, forming a bun.

As I was fiddling around with the kanzashi I slipped and fall into a net made of the white ivy vines. It gently sets me on the ground and went back to its place.

The kanzashi stops glowing and everything goes white. Leaving me with no account of how much time passed.

When I awoke, I'm in my bed and Rose's peering down at me worriedly.

"What," I ask, sitting up and going over to the window and opening it. My feathered friends come in and I start getting ready.

"Where were you? We were all worried sick, especially Liam," Rose questions as the birds redo my bun with my new kanzashi.

"Dark Forest," I yawn, a bird handing me my messager bag and wand holster. And I leave feeling like an empty husk.

The entire morning goes by in a hass. I finally snap out of it when Liam tries to ask me something.

"Huh, what," I mumble, looking at him. "Sorry, I didn't catch that."

"Do you know who you are holding in your arms," he asks, gritting his teeth. I look down and see the walking, talking fox from the Slytherin house. She is in some of my classes, and she's in my arms. I think her name is Amber Stealth, she even wears the school uniform. I've heard there's a lot of bad blood between her and Liam, it seems the rumors were true. I get really embarrassed and I can feel my face burning.

"Ah, I'm so sorry," I apologize, setting her down gently. "I've been out of it all day and because I naturally love animals I just can't help but carry them around. Again, I'm really sorry."

"It's fine, I surprisingly didn't mind that much," she replies, and I beam. "What?"

"Oh, it's just I'm not used to animals talking in human, usually they all talk in their native tongue to me," I smile. "So I got a bit excited."

"I guess that's understandable, you're Mahō Kage the rumored Nature Witch," she also smiles, straightening her uniform. "I've heard rumors about your love of animals so it's expected."

"Yeah, maybe a bit too much," Liam grumbles, standing next to me, while glaring at Amber.

"Liam, as long as I am here, you two are going to have to get along," I look over at him. "You two are not allowed to fight as long as I am around. So get out all your bickering now cuz you won't really get another chance again."

"Hm," Liam looks away, crossing his arms.

"Fine by me, but its Malfoy you should be worried about, he's stuck up just like his father," Amber agrees and Liam looks like he was going to kill her. "What it's true."

"Take that back you, ingrate," he roars, charging at her. I get in front of him and hold him back from tackling Amber. "Don't you dare insult my father!"

"LIAM. Calm down," I yell, feeling my power radiating off of me.

Everything goes quiet and I feel all eyes are on me.

"What," I ask, then Crash!

Windows shatter. Glass flies everywhere. Shrieks could be heard throughout the hall. I feel sharp pains all over my limps and my stomach area.

But my vines keep me standing.

My vision blurs.

Dark masses crowd around me.

All my senses are telling me they're evil.

Power surges through me, creating a blinding light. When I fades away, a large amount of the Dark figures are gone.

But there's still more pouring in, Yuki charges around biting the Shadow Beasts. Together her and Amber were killing large amounts of the Shadow Beasts. The teachers were also getting in on the action. They were protecting the students and getting them safely out of the hall.

And that's all I remember before everything faded away. Only leaving a feeling of helplessness and disparity.
