Tainted Sinless Blight

Arthur had remembering little bites of information regarding his previous life. During his previous life, had spent the vast majority of his time within White Corpse City during his later years, in the days before he became a Rank 5 Fae Master.

At this point, it was more than 30 years away, and there was a significant number of things Arthur either wasn't familiar with, or hadn't known of, thirty years earlier.

He was relying on his information about the future, but his knowledge on the past wasn't as concrete as one might think. Arthur spent dozens of years exploring the other Continents and Seas within Human Heaven, and spend numerous years delving into the other Thirty Three Heavens.

A thousand years wasn't enough to fully explore Human Heaven, so a thousand years to explore the Thirty Three Heavens was like a drop in an ocean of unexplored territories.

Arthur did remember a few things though.

'This Purple Fog must be related to Purple Mist, the future Sect Leader of the White Dominion Sect. And for whatever reason, Violet Sunglass becomes his wife in the future.... What Boundary Physique did he have again? It was a pretty powerful Corpse Attributed Boundary Physique as well....'.

Arthur hummed, entering the Returning Galaxy Auction House.

It had only been a few hours since Arthur and Purple Fog had their scuffle in the Fragrant Wine Inn. Despite the fact that Purple Fog probably had a significant background, Arthur wasn't too worried.

If he did involve the older generation Arthur would just hand over another useless Fae Immortal Inheritance in exchange for protection. Even though Immortal Fae were quite valuable, if they weren't the Attributes that Arthur needed, or possessed abilities that counteracted his own, they weren't anything special to him.

The Sword Divinity Immortal Inheritance was quite valuable to the Returning Galaxy Auction House, especially this particular branch. Blood Mist would receive quite the number of contributions if he brought back the complete Inheritance, but a seventh of the total would still be more than enough.

One of the receptionists noticed Arthur and made her way towards him. All of them had memorized the faces of Arthur and his compatriots, hoping to form some sort of relationship with the Boundless Forest Yearning.

Coincidentally, they too had all heard of the battle between Arthur and Purple Fog.

Despite the fact that Purple Fog was older than Arthur, and theoretically, should be much more experienced in battle and in Fae manipulation, the younger Arthur had absolutely trounced the peak Rank 2 Fae Master.

Whether it was cultivation, age, Law perception, Intent perception, Attribute Control Skills or anything, Arthur had completely surpassed him.

The beautiful young receptionist smiled at Arthur, gently brushing up her arm beside him, gesturing for him to follow her.

"Young Master Arthur! Please come right this way. Elder Raincloud has been expecting you".

Arthur raised an eyebrow for a moment before following the young woman.

He had come here today to talk business about Intent-related Fae materials, but it seems that they had already been expecting him.....

'Was it the battle?'.

That seemed like the most likely option, but-.

'A small battle like that wouldn't attract the eye of anyone too important. It might even get covered up considering that two Physique wielders were battling. Not to mention an inner White Dominion Sect disciple....'.

Arthur followed the receptionist into one of the backrooms. The exact same one that Arthur had used during his previous visit to the Returning Galaxy Auction House.

Entering the room, Arthur was immediately greeted by Elder Raincloud, but his eyes were drawn to the dozen or so young women behind him.

His eyebrows raised a fraction of an inch, before turning towards Elder Raincloud. The old man was all smiles and sunshine, despite the slightly depressed aura coming from the group of young women behind him.

"Young sir! How fortunate for you to have come today! Our Returning Galaxy Auction House was just about to send someone to notify you that your request for a Boundary Physique wielder has come in!".

Arthur sent all the women a glance, before turning back towards Elder Raincloud.

"That was.... certainly quick. I hope that the Returning Galaxy Auction House doesn't make me pay for the transmission arrays".

Elder Raincloud waved Arthur off, chuckling and pretending that he didn't hear such a thing.

"Don't worry young sir. Our Returning Galaxy Auction House will do no such thing. Being completely honest, our Auction House has placed importance on the connection between us and your Sovereign Boundary Physique. The Boundless Forest Yearning, amongst Sovereign Boundary Physiques have a higher percentage of crossing Ascension due to the presence of the Affection Tree Fae. By gaining the affections of the heavens and the earth, the chances of young sir becoming a Fae Immortal are much greater than most other Sovereign Boundary Physiques".

The corners of Arthur's mouth rose slightly.

"Oh? Am I really that valuable? What about the Tainted Sinless Blight? Are my chances much higher than their Ascension?".

Elder Raincloud, just smiled, not answering Arthur's question.

The Tainted Sinless Blight was ranked 33rd in terms of being the strongest Sovereign Boundary Physique, however its talents did not at all lie in situations such as battle, or in enhancing the strength of the Fae Master.

It's name in of itself was a bit of a conundrum. How could something be simultaneously "tainted" and "sinless" at the same time? Not to mention the "blight" part of the name obviously emphasized that the Poison Attribute of the Sovereign Boundary Physique.

It was a dual Taint-Poison Sovereign Boundary Physique, one that.... was different to other Sovereign Boundary Physiques.

The Taint Attribute was already needlessly complicated, but its Secondary Origin Fae took things to a whole new level.

It was called the "Tainted Portrait Fae".

And it was technically born, the moment that a Fae Master awakens the Tainted Sinless Blight.

It created a perfect replica of the Fae Master, from the their internal organs, to their scars and muscle memory, and from their old injuries to their origin essence seas. Which were empty, considering that it was just technically just a copy.

It lacked a soul, a consciousness, and was nothing but a perfect replica, a tainted existence that could do nothing but eat, sleep and drink.

The Tainted Portrait Fae didn't need origin essence in order to stay active and outside of this perfect replica of themselves it didn't have that much use. However....

Whatever happened to this "tainted copy" happened to the Fae Master instead. Not the other way around.

If the tainted copy, which couldn't do anything other than eat, sleep or drink underwent Ascension in place of the Fae Master, they too would complete Ascension. And as a Fae Immortal, they could undergo Ascension again increasing the benefits they gain from the process.

In the most basic terms, a Rank 5 Fae Master would gain another hundred years worth of life if they underwent Ascension. If someone with the Tainted Sinless Blight underwent Ascension twice, their lifespan would be doubled, and then be doubled again.

In total, they would have four hundred years worth of lifespan!

This.... Sovereign Boundary Physique was one of the greatest forms of poison in the Thirty Three Heavens. It created one of the biggest weak points of any existence in the Thirty Three Heavens. A poison that transcended both shape and form, taking on a physical existence.

The Tainted Portrait Fae was a type of poison. It was sinless, and yet tainted the Fae Master from their moment of its birth.

This particular Sovereign Boundary Physique.... was almost guaranteed to become a Fae Immortal. So long as someone didn't take their Secondary Origin Fae from them beforehand.

Arthur sat down opposite Elder Raincloud, smiling gently before lifting his gaze towards the numerous women in front of him.

The Returning Galaxy Auction House Elder noticed this, mimicking Arthur's smile before passing a piece of information jade towards him.

"I'm sure you'll be able to find someone that is best suited towards your.... proclivities, young sir".
