Alessia's P.O.V

The gentle breeze whistled against my ear, as I watched the clouds move in the sky.

"Your ice cream is going to melt" Seraphina, my childhood friend said while she wiped up the droplets of ice cream from my beige jumpsuits.

The air was light and my mind was full of nothing, I watched the sunset on the swing set of the playground.

"And I thought you just wanted to watch random kids before the sun goes down" I mumble taking in the scenery.

"You agreed to come so did you wanted to watch kids before sun down?" Seraphina joked, the silence golden.

"I'm serious , it's a nice view" I giggle a kid pushing me on the swing I sat on, my ice cream falling all over my outfit.

"I did tell you to you to finish it" Seraphina laughed moving to her feet, the swing moving to and fro before sera put her hand out to stop it.

I stood up, the ice cream cone dropping to the ground and the melting ice cream moving further down.

The sky turning grey, clouds moving around, the sun out of sight and the street lights flickering around.

"Should we find a bathroom or something?" Sera asked as we made our way to her latest model audi.

"We should just head to my house so I can get changed" I suggested, getting into the the passenger seat.

"We should stop at a supermarket or something to get you some blankets don't want you to catch a cold" Sera mentioned, keeping her eyes on the road.

"You don't catch a bug from getting wet Sera" I said.

"Who told you that?" Sera questioned, a silly grin showing on her face, the air filled with humour.

"Google" I snarkly responded, my wets clothes hugging my body.

"So tell me miss smarty pants how do you catch colds?" Sera chuckled.

I leaned forward preparing my next remark before the car came to a halt, sending me flying back to my seat.

"On second thought I don't want to hear it" She said as she parked the car, taking out the keys from the engine.

"What was that?" I groaned I put my hand on my aching head from the impact.

"I parked the car" She said making me rolling my eyes.

Sera grabbed her bag from the back seat, and reached for the door handle before she stopped and turned to look at me.

"Do not come of this car Ali" looking me in the eyes as she spoke.

"I'm not a child Sera,  I know how to take care of myself" I state taking my phone out of my bag.

"I know you can, I'm just saying for the sake of it ok?"

I nodded my head like an obedient child, just promised some sweets in exchange for their silence, or like a teen given a phone to play games.

"Wait for me here" She commanded, swinging the car door open and walking off into the building standing at our fore.

"Bye" I mumbled typing in my phone password.

INCORRECT PASSWORD.

'Incorrect password?' I thought typing in my password again. 'maybe I made a mistake' I thought typing my password in for the third time.

I bit my finger typing in my password one more time.

"Shit" I groaned putting my phone down and looking around the parking lot. "How did I get hacked?" I thought as I  nibbled at my thumb.

I look around, picking up my phone again, checking the time and immediately tossing it to the back seat.

I unlocked the car, opening my door and steeping out, the cold evening breeze sweeping against my dark skin making me shiver.

The knitted grunge fairy dress the solid O-neck not helping anything and long sleeve dress sticking to my body and the ice cream stain visible on the white maxi dress.

I ignored my trembling hands and walked inside the building, I stepped into the supermarket tripping over as soon as I walked passed the security check.

My hands failing, moving around as I attempted to regain my balance, a muscular arm wrapping around my waist and pulling me up holding on for a second before stepping back.

"And here I was thinking you would fall for me" the man standing in front of me spoke, his voice deeper than the rivers, his ashen eyes reminding me of my mothers funeral, reminding me of someone.

I looked away from him and crossing my hands to cover the ice cream stain, I didn't know this man but something about him struck the iron.

I rolled my eyes 'cheesy' I thought an irksome smile spreading across his face, I steadied myself, opening my mouth to reply.

"Do you want a 'thank you' or something?" I questioned.

He was silent before he grinned again "I would appreciate that yes".

I grunted "bye" I muttered as I attempted to walk away, my hands still crossed against my abdomen, my arms starting to tremble from the cold.

He grabbed sleeve as I attempted to get past him, his large veiny hand holding onto a piece of my shirt.

"Are you really hiding a stain with your hand?" He asked with a smile spread across his face, "and are you cold?" he asked.

He swiftly pulled of his jacket, putting over my shoulders, a smile appearing on his face, my hands dropping to my sides.

"Bye" he said making me grunt as I walked away a little smile playing on my face, which was quickly wiped off when I spotted Sera walking around, looking lost.

"Sera!" I shouted as I spotted her, she immediately looked my way staring daggers at me as I offered a smile.

Luciano's P.O.V

I emerged out of the bathroom, cold water dripping down my hair, my towel hanging on my waist the steam moving into my bedroom, a towel resting on my shoulders.

I moved into my walk-in closet picking out some grey sweatpants, a loud RING! comming from my phone, I walked over to answer it immediately.

"Luca, I'm done researching the Lucchesse family" Carlo's rough voice came from the other side of the phone.

"Fax it" I ordered, hanging up the phone, putting on my pant an walking faster than usual.
