Looking at the body of the boy named Kai. I can't help but hold my chest from the shock. It wasn't because of hole on his chest, it was because of the runes on his back.

They were familiar. They were something that only the people of Alacrya had on them.

My heart started racing. My head started hurting like someone was hitting it with a metal hammer.

With a heavy sigh I sat on my chair and pulled out a few papers.

"I don't know if I'm guess right or not but…I need to know who this person is"

I was trying my best to think but my mind was thinking something else.

'I can't believe this, they are trying to kill the students of this academy. They are trying to weaken this continent from inside so they are aiming for the academy'

"I must protect everyone here. I will make sure there are no more spy in this academy. I will protect them and this continent even if I have to put my life on the line".

A small guilty hit my heart. Was I really ready to die for it? Or was I just giving myself a motivation speech?

I didn't know. But what I know is that I must protect the place I call home.

'Even though Kai told me where I can temporary find Draveen. I still don't know where the Ravenpor mansions are... Well let's just focus on this class for now and when night time comes I'll pay a visit to the city ' Thought Madara while walking inside the Arena.

The moment Madara walked in the area, everyone looked at him. All of them still remembered the fight between him and Arthur that happened yesterday.

"Madara. I'm sorry but can you go and sit on the stand for today" Said Professor Glory while walking towards Madara.

"Why?"

"Well I think you should just watch the matches for today and not fight". Said. Professor Glory while trying to show the faces of other students who were clearly afraid. None of them wanted to fight Madara.

Madara turned around and walked towards the VIP stand box which was empty.

While he was sitting there. He looked down on the students who were preparing for a battle and saw that Tess was among them.

'I wonder if this would be a good time make "that move'. And if my words failed me then I can use my eyes '

Lost in his own thought of plans. Madara sensed someone coming from behind. He stayed quiet waiting for the person to show up.

Slowly the person he was sensing showed up.

It was Arthur . He walked inside and sat a few meters away from Madara. He knows that Madara doesn't like him but he wants to find out more about Madara, why was he so mysterious, what are his real powers. These were the things that Arthur wanted to know.

The two of them stayed quiet the whole time. None of them said a word. They just watched the matches with boring expressions on their faces.

"Hey Madara. Can I ask you something?" The words of Arthur cut the quiet atmosphere around them.

"Mm, what do you wanna ask?" Said Madara while looking at the ongoing matches inside the arena.

"I know it may sound personal but…Do you miss your family?"

Arthur was expecting a killing intent but the only intent he felt was the quietness.

Madara who quiet. The question hit something that he forgot a long time ago. His first life family.

"Yes. But I moved"

"You moved?"

"My parents died long time ago and I buried that memory long time. Their death helped me, it's opened a new path for me. The path were I can walk without the fear of losing someone. I can do whatever I want without worrying about the safety of my family".

Arthur took a few seconds to process Madara's words.

"Is that why you don't have friends?"

'I don't think he's gonna answer it'

"Friends…are people that can be your greatest power and they can also be your greatest Weakness. Beside, They say today's friend is tomorrow's enemy. You can't go around befriend everyone you see"

Madara's words triggered old memories of Arthur. Back then when he was King Grey. His best friend became his enemy.

"You might be right but that doesn't mean you can be alone for the rest of your life. Family and friends are the things that makes a person"

"No. Memories are the things that makes a person. People die but memories don't"

"I don't have a friend but I do have a girlfriend" Said Madara as he stood up from his seat and started walking.

'Yep that's what a teenager would say. He's flexing '

"Just remember. Today's friend is tomorrow's enemy".

Arthur looked at Madara leaving.

'He's right. Family and friends might be a great source of power but also weaknesses. But with great power you can cover that weakness'

"I'll go and train with Sylvia's beast will today"

~That was the first time I heard him talking more than ten words ~ Said Sylvie.

"Mm, I guess he doesn't hate me. He just don't want unnecessary chit chat"

Arthur looked down and saw that the battle was over.

"Come on, let's go talk to Professor Glory. She seem bothered by something".

(Arthur pov).

I wasn't allowed to fight today because of what happened yesterday. I was alright but I decided to accept the offer and just watched the battle.

"What's wrong Professor?" I asked while walking towards her.

"Sigh. I'm just mentally drained up from everything that is happening right now"

"What do you mean by that?"

"Hmm, well it wouldn't hurt telling a fellow Professor. A lot of things are happening inside the beast glades and the Council have put a red line on the matter. I'm afraid this class won't be able to go there this semester" Said Professor Glory with a disappointed face.

"Not to mention the death of two students inside the academy. I'm sorry but it seems like you guys are gonna have to wait until the Council announced news about the Beast Glades"

Hearing her words I thought about the Lances and decided to ask her a question.

"But what about the Lances? Can't the council use them to investigate on what is happening in Beast Glades?"

"That is something that you and me don't know"

"I saw the way you were fighting with your opponent. You focus more on defense and allow your opponent to attack you. You must make sure that you cover that weakness" Said Madara who was busy destroying the vines with his black lightning.

"huff..huff, Madara I don't think I can fight anymore. Your lightning is destroying my vines left and right" Said Tess who was kneeling on the ground.

"Your vines are more durable than before. We should try fighting again"

"huh? But I'm tired "

"You look more of a baby than a tired person right now" Jokily said Madara.

"Said a guy who never laughed".

Suddenly the training room's door opened up and a figure walked inside.

It was Director Goodsky. She walked towards Madara and Tess with a worrying expression.

"Are you okay Master?" Asked Tess.

"I'm fine dear. It's just a small headache from all of that paper work" Said Director Goodsky while looking at Madara who was beside Tess.

"Madara, can you let me check something on you?"

Hearing Director Goodsky's words. Madara eyed her for a few seconds before asking.

"What is it that you want to check on me?"

"It's nothing serious. All I want you to do is just take off your shirt".

"Ta…take off his shirt?? "

"Yes "

'What is she planning?' Thought Madara while taking off his shirt. After completely taking off his shirt. Director Goodsky walked behind him and then started looking around his upper body.

"I must say your body is perfect built . You can wear back your shirt" Said director Goodsky.

'What a lie. You were just looking if I had those runes on my body ' Thought Madara while wearing his shirt.

"Hmm, Madara can you let us alone so we can start the assimilation training?".

"mm" Nodded Madara

'Was she suspecting me?'
