Chapter 14: Playing politics part 2
"Our next move? We give them what they want." I said while smiling.
"What! But Madara, you are the future clan head, this will mean you will not have a choice in your marriage. You are too young to fully understand, but marriage is for life Madara!" My father was obviously the first to oppose this.
Well, what he said was technically not wrong, but I have lived in the 21 first century, where it is not uncommon to have divorces, so technically, marriage is not for life.
"No dad, I am going to be doing something which will stall us some time." I explained.
"We will propose for me to marry none other than the king's own daughter, and that she must marry into our clan. Obviously, the king will hesitate, and this time, the other nobles won't support the king.
Their goal is no matter what to weaken the Uchiha, getting our powers for themselves is a different issue altogether. For now, the best move for us is to stall their hand, and what better way than to propose marriage with the king's daughter.
Not only will we be giving the kingdom what they want, we will also be forcing the king's hand, it is a win-win." I explained.
"The brat is right. It is the best way. This way we will also be able to build our power more. We can take revenge against some nobles, and get some of the other families to our side." My grandfather said.
"Now, about the funding of the Uchiha, what is our main source of money as of now?" I asked.
"For now, we mainly have weapons shops, and a few restaurants.." My father said.
I just stared at them blankly. That's it?! No wonder it is so easy for the other nobles to bully us. They can just cut the supply we need off, and we will just die out.
But when I thought about this further, I should have expected this. After all, the Uchiha don't exactly have great brains for businesses.
"Sigh, you have not been playing to your strengths dad. The Uchiha are strong, we are naturally more talented than every other mage, and we have greater battle power due to the Sharingan. With this, don't you think it will be easy to monopolise the beast market?
We can send Uchiha to dungeons, and sell all these items back to the adventurers guild. Not only that, we can use the items we gain from the hunts to give supplies to our shops so no other noble family can try to do what they did before."
It was like enlightenment struck the pair, as they realised how they have been missing a gold mine.
"With this, not only will the Uchiha get stronger due to fighting in dungeons, we can also become self-sufficient." My dad murmured.
Then my grandfather continued," Not only that, if we have the Uchiha mix and mingle with other adventurers, we can have them witness the power of the clan so they never think of attacking us, and we can have the adventurers on our side."
"And that isn't the only idea I have." I said while smirking. I was planning on using an idea which was used to weaken the Uchiha in the past, but this time will help us greatly.
"What is it, spit it out brat!" My grandfather urged me to say my ideas. Honestly, it is fun to tease this old man, but now it is not the time for that.
"We can ask for us to establish an independent organisation known as the Uchiha police force. With this police force, we can have the Uchiha patrol around the city to help for petty stuff like theft, and on the outskirts of the city, raping and kidnapping."
"But these things rarely happen, and the city also has the royal guard for these types of matters." My dad said.
"While they do rarely happen, they still happen. If the Uchiha are able to reduce these types of crimes to the minimum, will the public not feel gratitude towards us for protecting them with our own lives?
Not only that, we can say we are 'helping' the royal family with this, so the guards are able to train incase of war.
The last, and most major benefit is, we can stop all types of discriminations. The Uchiha Police Force will be impartial, and whenever a noble is abusing their powers, or if a human is discriminating against a dwarf or elf, we can stop it.
That way, not only will the commoners respect us, the other races will also look at us normally. After all, the Uchiha have killed a lot of people in the wars, and this way might be able to partially help restore our reputation among the other races."
Listening to all of this, my grandfather and father were shocked.
Their thoughts right about now were along the lines of,' How can a 2 year old think about all of this?' and 'This child is a genius of all aspects.'

A/N: How did you like me using the Uchiha Police Force idea? Well, I didn't really have it planned, it just kinda happened, hahaha, hope you liked it.
And, would you guys support it if I do end up writing a cultivation novel with a system? It will be in the fanfiction genre as I am using a system used before in another novel so I cannot have credit.
