A congratulatory gift from Blank

Not even half an hour had passed and she had broken through the computer's security system without even being detected by the other, making her able to see any information in her computer.

But Jiang Yue did not stop there, using Zion's information that was stored in the computer, she was able to connect to Arcane Union's networks, their security system defending from her attack.

At Arcane Union Headquarters, several people were staring at the warnings showing on their computer yet no one was in a panic, and instead, they had an anticipating expression.

"Ah, is someone looking for some trouble?"

"Why don't we tell the big 4 about this? For this hacker to connect to our network, he surely has some great skills."

"Tsk, he might be able to connect to our network but that's all he can do. I doubt he can pass through the first wall of defense though."

"This man must have prepared for this his whole life to achieve this hahaha...."

The hackers stated their comments about the person behind this intrusion.

Yet Jiang Yue, the said person who had 'prepared for this his whole life' despite only deciding it in the past 40 minutes, broke through every defense wall of Arcane Union's security system.

The several hackers who were waiting for a good show stared dumbstruck at their Arcane Union's millions of data flashing throughout the screen.

"What the fuck,"

"What just happened?"

"Shit! This isn't a good sign!"

"Go and inform the big 4!"

Their calm and arrogant expression was now gone and was now replaced with agitation and nervousness.

Their hands flew through the keyboard, trying to take back control of the security system.

Suddenly, the screen turned black, making them freeze in their spot.

"Have you finally regained control?" One of the members asked. Just as they were about to sigh of relief, a message appeared on the screen.

Several people sucked their breath, their hearts about to burst out from their chests as they read the message.

Written on the screen was, "A congratulatory gift from me to Arcane Union, -Blank"

"Blank..."

"It's Blank..."

"Fuckin' shit."

".... A congratulatory gift? What does that mean?"

"Go and regain control of the security system! If any of the data are lost we're all dead!" Hearing the exclamation of their fellow member, their mind started to focus and they went back trying to regain control.

"None of the data were lost..."

"Is Blank messing with us?" One of them couldn't help but ask as he looked through their network.

Hurried steps can be suddenly heard and two people appeared in the room.

"What happened?" Cipher, who was now one of the four core members of Arcane Union, asked as he grabbed one of the guy's computers.

"Blank broke through our security system..." One of them answered.

The other guy who came in, who was known as 'Sabertooth', scoffed as he walked to one of the computers, "Are you fuckin' joking? Let's not even talk if it is done by Blank, but passing through our security system is impossible."

"That's what we thought too..."

"No, they were telling the truth," Cipher stated as his pale face stared at the words left by a certain someone.

When Sabertooth heard that, he pushed a member who was in front of the computer as he looked through what just happened, and just like what they said, it was indeed done by Blank and their security system now is down.

Anyone could attack them at any minute and steal their data.

"I'll call the other two to let them know about this. You handle the restoration of the security system." Cipher stated to his other co-core member and went out afterward.

He grabbed his phone as his fingertips dialed a number he had memorized.

It rang a few times before it was picked up.

"I just unblocked your number 'cause I know you'd call but I didn't know it would be this fast though." A voice said on the other end with a hint of mocking.

"Phantom, what does Blank mean by hacking into our security system?" Cipher asked with gritted teeth.

Phantom laughed out loud when he heard that, then he said between laughter, "I just told him awhile ago what Arcane Union had done and he already took action. Ah, Karma surely works fast— or should I say Blank hahaha."

"I decided to leave the Alliance, Arcane Union didn't poach me."

Phantom gathered himself and replied, "So? Your matter doesn't have anything to do with us anymore. Besides, Blank simply hacked into Arcane Union as a warm-up cause he's finally coming back. If he wanted o teach you all a lesson, he would have done more than that."

He scoffed as he ended the call and blocked the number again with a satisfied grin on his face.

Cipher, on the other hand, glared at the phone in his hand as he cursed under his breath.

Yang Lei after answering a phone call, reported to Luo Zhelan who was languidly sitting in the back seat of the car.

"Young Master Luo, The IT Team of Luo Corporation ran into some... problem."

Luo Zhelan turned his head and nodded for him to continue, "They said that the corporation's security system was breached but other than that, there was nothing else. No data were lost and no virus was left."

His brows furrowed, "Is the system now down?"

Yang Lei answered, "No, Young Master. There isn't any damage to our security system but the IT Team does not know how to proceed with this. Shall we change to a new security system?"

Luo Zhelan was silent for a few seconds before he asked, "Are there any traces left by the intruder?"

"There were none."

He nodded, "Then their target is probably not us. Tell them to keep using it for now."

Although he stated that, he couldn't help but think more of the situation as their previous security system was also broken through before, which dealt a huge blow to their reputation.

As he think more about it, Luo Zhelan was sure that this matter has something to do with the previously breached security system.

And the person who caused all of this was now drinking some milk before going to bed.

"You look happy Sister..." Jiang Xiu stated as she grab the empty glass.

"Do I? I just congratulated someone." Answered Jiang Yue with a glint in her eyes.

She had to give them a gift for finally being the top Hacker Alliance out there.

"Oh, may I ask who?"

"Just some group..."

Jiang Xiu didn't dive deep into the matter anymore and said, "Good night."

"Good night." Replied Jiang Yue.

It might not be a good night for others though.
