Chapter 2 Unlucky [Part 2]

Henry walked towards the road, Anna's house was close to the forest so he had a long way to go.

He met Anna in high school when they moved to this town, Henry was handsome so he easily got along with girls and he got along with Anna till they were close enough for Anna to visit him.

He had only visited Anna once when her parents were around and since then he was too afraid to try it again, both of their birthdays were in the same month in the same year so they had celebrated a few of their birthdays together.

Henry was given birth to on the 25th while Anna was given birth to on the 26th and on her 18th birthday night, Anna dragged him to her house and they had sex for the first time in their lives, since then there have been lots of instances.

Henry walked through the streets quickly, the day was already dark and he had no money to call or order a taxi so he had to move quickly so he wouldn't miss the last bus.

"Where is my money" a voice shouted.

Henry heard the shout and his head turned towards a warehouse, there was a single wooden door and the shouts were coming from over there, Henry didn't know what pushed him to peek but he would forever remember his foolishness.

Henry walked towards the door slowly, the street was dark so he wouldn't be seen by passersby, the door had a small crack so he peeked through there.

The warehouse contained nothing but humans, the warehouse was well lit enabling Henry to see clearly even though he was peeking through a small crack, all of them were dressed in black clothing that had a red tag on the chest.

Henry looked around till his eyes settled on the man shouting and he was frozen to the spot, the man held a gun with a silencer and he placed the gun on the head of another man tied to the ground.

The man on the ground was bleeding from all the beating he had received earlier and the man with the gun was asking for his money.

"My brothers wouldn't let this slide...even if you kill me, you all would be killed including you Vincent," the man said with his shaky voice.

"This is just like a movie... I'm sure these guys belong to a gang, I should get going" Henry mumbled as he stepped away from the door.

"So you were sent to spy on us kid" a voice spoke from behind Henry.

Henry turned around but before he took a step or speak a punch landed on his face and he fell to the ground, he was dragged inside the warehouse and dropped near the half-dead man.

"I found him outside spying on us..." the man who dragged Henry spoke to his boss Vincent.

"So a kid was sent to spy on us" Vincent spoke in a calm voice.

"I wasn't sent to spy on you, I was passing by and I heard shouts so I took a peek and I wanted to leave that all" Henry spoke with fear.

"You expect me to believe that...you heard shouts and you peeked, well kid you did a wrong thing by peeking," Vincent said.

"I'm so sorry Mr Vincent," Henry said, but he quickly regretted saying the name.

"Ohh...guys he wasn't sent to spy but he knows my name, Isn't that nice" Vincent chuckled and the rest of them laughed.

"You see kid...this is adult business and you shouldn't get involved, Tiger take care of him and leave no trace" Vincent spoke in a calm voice.

Henry couldn't believe his eyes, he knew what Vincent meant by taking care of him, that means he was going to be killed and buried and no one would know, Henry's head began to spin around his legs were shaking and tears began to drop from his eyes.

He wanted to speak but no words came out of his mouth, the man known as tiger carried him from the ground with one hand and dragged him towards another side door that led to the forest.

Henry knew this was the end of his journey, he didn't even get to graduate from high school but at least he was already 18 and his last encounter earlier today with Anna brought his sex tally up to 10 so he enjoyed only 2% of his life.

Tiger was a large man who was able to drag Henry with one of his hands so Henry didn't struggle instead he accepted his fate, It was his fault for peeking into a Mafias hideout.

Tiger opened the door but before they could leave the warehouse the front door was slammed open and one of their members with black clothing ran in but before the guy could speak a bullet entered his brain and he fell to the ground immediately.

"Intruders" one of them shouted.

"Fire" Vincent shouted as he bent down, one of his members quickly ran in front of him as a shoot-out began.

Tiger was the first to be shot and Henry fell to the ground, the gang that came in saw Tiger holding Henry so they knew Henry wasn't part of them and they quickly killed Tiger.

Henry fell to the ground as Tiger's blood stained his clothes, his jaws dropped as he saw a human being drop dead from a gunshot, this was the first time he had witnessed such a gruesome scene.

The two gangs engaged in a gunshot battle and Henry lay perfectly still on the ground, he could only hear whizzing sounds as all the guns had silencers.

Henry looked up and saw the door beside him widely opened, he was so afraid that he forgot about the door, he couldn't make a careless move as it would immediately make him the target.
