Count Agist was honestly surprised Lillica had forgiven him, but he had to admit that he wasn't exactly an expert on demon culture so it may have been perfectly normal to sleep around… with other family members.
"I'd ask Lillica, Lorraina, or even Simon about it, but I feel like I'd be getting into something I would be better off not knowing." Count Agist mused to himself.
With the acquisition of Flint added to his own territory, Count Agist was glad to have access to mineral resources finally, but he realized he was lacking in skilled craftsmen. Previously, knights received one sword, one shield, one bow, and set of armor. If they were better with other weapons, it would be up to the noble that was responsible for the knight to provide them with the weapon. Due to the prolonged peace, most nobles didn't bother with the expense of creating specialized units.
"I'm surprised my father's enemies have left me alone for this long, but I suppose I am just a small pebble they can kick off the road any time they want."
Count Agist went to the dining room to get breakfast and saw the damage still from last night. The large table that had been in the manor since the beginning was split on one and had the legs collapsed on the other. One of the sofas had stains all over it and Count Agist couldn't tell what bodily fluids caused them.
"What happened here?!" Isadora suddenly exclaimed from behind Count Agist.
Count Agist turned around and saw Isadora and Lorraina looking at the mess left from last night.
"Well… um…" Count Agist didn't exactly know how to describe it to Isadora without scarring her emotionally.
Fortunately, or probably unfortunately, Lorraina lacked such considerations and said, "Agi, Lillica and I had dinner last night, then Agi and I had dessert together and it was the best!"
"What did you have that was so good?" Isadora asked, genuinely interested in what dessert they had together.
"Agi had me and I had him… all of him…" Lorraina licked one finger seductively while winking at Count Agist causing both Count Agist and Isadora to blush.
"Oh… so what you told me before…" Isadora looked a little upset at Lorraina and was about to leave, but Lorraina put her arm around Isadora before she could.
Lorraina whispered to Isadora, "Don't worry, I'm not interested in him, I'm still on your side, but he needed a release and you weren't around…"
Isadora felt a little better, but it still hurt a little bit knowing that she had confessed having feelings for Count Agist to Lorraina, only for Lorraina to sleep with him first. "Well, forgive me then for being a little upset with you. You shall have to accompany me and assist me with my work for a while then to make up for it!"
"Gladly!" Lorraina said cheerfully, "Be right back then!"
Lorraina skipped away happily to change in to her maid outfit that Isadora had made for her.
"Isadora, you don't need to be upset with Lorraina. It was entirely my fault that the dining hall is tore up like this."
"Oh, no! Milord, I am not upset about the mess!"
"That's good… wait, then what are you upset about?"
Isadora paused for a moment then decided to try and be difficult and said, "That's a secret… Agist…" then she smiled wryly at Count Agist and started to clean up the dining hall without even waiting for a reply from Count Agist.
Count Agist stood their stupefied and thought to himself, "When did Isadora become so bold?" Count Agist then began to clean up the dining hall with Isadora even though he had said to leave it to just himself. Lorraina joined in shortly after and actually slowed them down somewhat, but her cheerful demeanor made the work easier.
"Lorraina, you seem to be in a very good mood, was last night really that amazing with him?" Isadora asked Lorraina softly.
"Nope! Wait, I mean, yes it was, but that's not why I'm in a good mood. I've only ever had Lillica, but I feel like you and Agi are like my good friends!"
Isadora laughed softly then hugged Lorraina spontaneously which surprised Lorraina and Count Agist who happened to notice. "Thank you, you're the first girlfriend I've had since I was raised surrounded by men!"
"You've never had a girlfriend before? You should have more! Having a woman as a lover lets you discover so many things about your own body that…" Lorraina let her sentence trail off and stop because the confused/embarrassed expression on Isadora's face made Lorraina realize she meant as a friend and not as a lover.
"Oh, sorry! I thought you meant a girl as a lover. That would be great too! Lillica and I used to..." Lorraina found her sentence trailing off again as she was reminiscing about the past with Lillica, she found herself feeling a little sad that after their escape they really hadn't had much time just to be normal women.
"Sorry again, I just started to realize that I haven't had much time to just spend time with Lillica."
Isadora smiled affectionately and Lorraina then caressed her cheek. "Lillica is kind of intimidating, but I'm sure if you let her know your feelings she will understand."
Lorraina smiled back at Isadora and said, "She hates emotions cause she can't control them. It's also why she isn't honest with her own emotions, but it is also cute sometimes."
Isadora smiled politely and nodded. She didn't dislike Lillica, but she didn't like her either. Isadora thought of Lillica as her competition and was a little intimidated by her. She had doubts that Lillica and Lorraina were raised in the same family since their demeanor was completely opposite.
"Lorainna, how old were you and Lillica when you started living together?"
"Only about 60 years old, we lived together for another 60 or 70 with my mother, and now we've been on our own for the past 5 years..." Lorraina said without thinking about it.
"Huh? So you two are over a hundred years old?" Isadora said slightly alarmed.
Lorraina realized her mistake and then just smiled and laughed. "Hah! I'm just messing with you Isa! I like to mess with Lillica because she is a little older than me. I was 10 and she was 11, we lived with my mother for another 10 then were on our own for the past 5 years."
"Hmm, I get it, I do enjoy teasing Dion every now and then, but I wish I had a dependable older sister to help me at times. Does that make me selfish?"
Lorraina shrugged her shoulders and said, "Dunno, but I would do anything for sis and she would do the same for me."
Isadora smiled at Lorraina, she didn't know where Lorraina got that confidence in Lillica from since she's only seen Lillica scold Lorraina, but she also knew it wasn't her place to doubt her either. "I would do the same for Dion and he has for me as I've told you earlier."
"Yeah, it would be great to have a brother I think, although I think Lillica could kick Dion's butt so Lillica might be like an older brother in some aspects."
Isadora laughed "Probably, she comes across as someone that never loses. She seems very prideful."
"Yeah, like nobility... Agi could learn something from her. He's a count yet he doesn't act like a ruler or even nobility. Although I do admit I like that about him."
Isadora and Lorraina cleaned their way over to the end of the table where the legs had been buckled. Upon closer look, Isadora noticed some of the wood was even gouged out by fingers.
Lorraina noticed Isadora running her fingers across the gouges and said "Saying we did it rough wouldn't even begin to cover it..."
Isadora blushed, part of her was a little glad Count Agist hadn't fucked her like that last night as she was positive she would've been seriously injured. She still couldn't figure out how Lorraina was able to handle it and even find it enjoyable considering she looked thin. Isadora figured that maybe Lorraina was tougher than she looked.
"Hey, Isa... do I ever come across as different?" Lorraina suddenly asked Isadora.
Isadora was a little surprised as Lorraina's tone was serious for once. "Different? I don't know what you mean... I've picked up that you are attracted to both men and women if that is what you mean."
"Not that... well... can we talk tonight?" Lorraina asked shyly.
"Of course, let's focus on cleaning then for now otherwise we might not be done until the morning!"
Isadora was grateful that Lorraina wanted to help, but she would never get as much work done with Lorraina always wanting to talk. Isadora then noticed Count Agist was very distracted, especially when Lorraina walked close to him and he would look at her with a slight hunger in his eyes.
"Milord, perhaps you should leave this to us, I'm sure you have much more important work to do right now." Isadora said, trying to hide her jealousy.
Count Agist frowned, he was pretty confident she just wanted him out of the room, but he couldn't quite understand why. "Very well Isadora, I do have other business that I need to attend to. Thank you for your understanding."
"Hey Agi! Dont forget my sister is waiting on you, don't make her mad again!" Lorraina suddenly chimed in.
Isadora got annoyed at herself as getting Count Agist away from Lorraina wasn't meant to put him with Lillica, and alone even. "I'm not cut out for controlling people." Isadora thought to herself.
"Oh yes, thank you Lorraina, I almost forgot about that. Isadora, I... I know I don't say this enough, but I do appreciate you."
"Thank you milord, it is a pleasure serving you." Isadora did her best to sound meaninful with that.
Isadora was a little mad that after sharing a bed with him, even if it was only for a short while, that he still treated her the same. Then again, maybe she is overthinking it, he never would talk to her before and now he was making efforts to do it.
Count Agist nodded and smiled back at Isadora then left the dining hall to Lorraina and Isadora.
"Time to get some answers, I hope..." Count Agist said to himself as he made his way to the study.
Sorry for the delay. I think that break I took for holidays did more harm than good as it is harder to get back in to the swing of it!
