163 The Start

She first looked for a target that was alone. Although she can check how strong her targets were, in case a strong individual was there, her spiritual energy will be tracked back, which will remove her advantage of a surprise attack. She thought that it would be better to first go to those separated from the others.

Observing her target, she saw a tiger beast which surprised her. It has the same appearance as the tiger beast she met before she started cultivating. The difference was that this tiger beast is in the 2nd tier of the magical beast stage. The tiger did not even notice that someone was near it.

One slash was all it took to kill a hound. This would've been impossible she was using a different sword. She does not feel like cheating by using Yin Xue since the faster she kills, the faster she can clear the trial and be with Xiao Yan.

She slashed towards the third hound but it managed to save itself although it was now terribly injured.

Being surrounded was a bad situation and so Mu Yue quickly ran towards a direction followed by the remaining 5 hounds. While running, she also glances at the hounds that were following her. One of them was injured and will definitely be slower than the others.

The gap between the injured hound and the others was increasing and when the distance was enough, Mu Yue charged towards the hounds. The hounds at the front dodged away which gave an opportunity for Mu Yue to go for the injured hound.

The injured hound tried to dodged but Mu Yue quickly finished it off. Glancing at the scattered hounds, she created an ice wall that separated one of the hounds from the other three.

The ice wall broke apart from the attacks of the other three hound but Mu Yue already killed her target. Beasts that fight in packs have the advantage in numbers, remove that, and killing them will be easier.
