Mu Yue, an orphan who stumbled upon an inheritance, walked the path of cultivation to get strong. To see her teacher in person and perhaps find her family. That is until she met her. Mu Yue's priority was now her. Spending time with her is the greatest happiness she receives. Being together always was her wish... whatever it takes. And so a promise was made, "Let us grow strong, stronger than anyone else. Us two on the peak that no one will reach. It will be our place where we can spend our time together."

Reaching their Destination

On their way, the two found an island. The dragon decided to land there and let Mu Yue rest for the night. It was also best to travel only at daylight as most dangerous oceanic beasts leave the deep ocean at night.

"Stay here" The dragon said after they landed at the shore. It first made Mu Yue get off before going inside the forest.

Mu Yue did not have any clue what the dragon was going to do. She then heard a shriek coming from the forest.

The dragon came back and dropped a dead giant snake in front of Mu Yue. The snake was at the arcane beast stage and only need sometime before becoming a divine beast.

"You can do what you wanted with this corpse. It's all yours." As a member of the blood race, the dragon knew that the blood of something strong will be a good nourishment to Mu Yue. However, there are limitations to the strength of the beast to where the blood will come from. Too strong and it will only cause harm if the one who drinks it is too weak.

The snake was too large for Mu Yue to be able to drain its blood. She looked around and saw a tall tree before asking, "Can you hang this snake at the branch of that tall tree? This way, I can easily drain its blood."

It was a simple request and so the dragon did it. The dragon then watched what Mu Yue was going to do.

There was a hole on the head of the snake and Mu Yue guessed it might have died from being pierced by the dragon's claw. Mu Yue had some buckets on her storage ring as well as some bottles. Looking at the corpse, she figured that the bottles will all be full even before storing all the blood of the snake.

She then made Yin Xue, a t9 sword appear on her hand. She then slashed the head off the snake after channeling some spiritual energy to the sword. The sword made a clean cut, which was only made possible by it being a strong sword and the snake already dead.

Now she has enough supply of blood for the time being. She then dissected the snake corpse, separating the valuable parts such as fangs and snake hide from the corpse before storing everything on her storage ring, almost reaching its capacity.

Mu Yue and the dragon then slept for the night before resuming their travel. They finally crossed through the forest and now reached the mainland.

The mainland was large. The center is the location of the world tree. The human kingdoms and beast communities are spread while the north part is where the majority of the blood race is located.

While traveling, Mu Yue asked the dragon's name which was Wang Shi. It was a name given by the one who converted him. She also now knows that he was a Male Elder Dragon.

They arrived at the east side of the mainland and so, Wang Shi has to avoid being spotted. Not that he was scared to fight, but it was too troublesome, especially that he must ensure the safety of a royal.

Because of his large figure, the best he can do is fly above the clouds. Mu Yue had difficulties in breathing and required the help of Wang Shi. Still, they safely arive on the territory of the blood race.

The area was not different to the territory of humans. In fact, the only thing that differentiates them from humans would be their pale skin and fangs. Their eyes also turned red when they are using their unique power.

Despite being called the blood race, they do not like their territory being covered in blood. A battlefield covered in blood would be a wonderful sight, but a home covered in blood would be disgusting.

They have one large kingdom that contains most of their population. Their hierarchy depends on the strength of their bloodline. The royal family at the top, the High lord's houses, and then the citizens.

They have a capital in the most north part of the mainland. A castle also stands tall in the middle of the city while in front of it is a large open area where the citizen gathers during announcements or important events.

The blood race value order. They also do not like being compared to humans but this does not mean they hate them that it becomes racism. They still respect humans despite the two being enemies for generations.
