I woke up at noon.

Sleeping for 3 hours, I got up from my bed and used the bathroom.

I used a hair clamp to fix my hair and went out of my room.

"Afternoon, Indi." Katy greeted me.

"Look like you just woke up." I said as I saw Katy's pajama and messy hair.

"Oh, haha. Yeah, I forgot that I actually have to train with Aileen today."

I didn't know why she had to but I didn't ask her.

I nodded and we both walked to the kitchen.

I was grabbing an apple and she quickly grabbed a biscuit.

Before leaving, she looked back at me.

"I'm kinda late so," She paused.

"See ya later?" She smiled.

I nodded with a smile.

After finishing my apple, I went outside to find Grayson checking up the territory from the Frett Pack.

"Oh, Luna(r). They just finished transferring the guns here. It was so much that it took 2 hours." He laughed.

"I'll take over here." I said.

He must have not slept until now.

"What? But this isn't your job. Just go and check up on the Alpha and Luna."

"Go and take a rest. I'll handle them later." I stared at him.

He looked at me and gave in.

"Thanks." He mumbled but I heard it loudly.

He went to the Pack House and told me he'll take a nap.

I sighed and looked at the last box of guns being carried inside a small house near the Pack House.

One of the warriors was looking in my direction and went up to me.

"Good day Luna, have you seen Beta Grayson?" She asked.

"What do you have to tell him?"

"We finished bringing the guns from the Frett Pack, Luna." She said.

I nodded.

"Tell the others to rest." She smiled and went to the warriors and they looked happy.

I walked my way towards the house to talk with the Alpha and Luna.

I looked at the guest room on the first and second floors and saw no one.

I went up to the third floor and still saw no one.

After reaching the fourth floor, I saw two hunters guarding two rooms.

"Are they awake?" I asked when I reached the two of them.

"We just gave them their lunch Luna." One of them spoke.

I nodded and went to one of the rooms thinking it was the Alpha but it was the Luna that occupied the right room.

I stared at her for a while.

"How's the baby?" I asked and she was surprised.

"What are you saying?" She tried to avoid my eyes.

"I can hear the heartbeat, it's loud. I can smell it, a different smell, coming from you." Another presence's smell.

I already knew when we fought at their house.

I tried to avoid using wolfsbane on her so that it wouldn't cause problems.

During the fight, I only targeted her head.

She looked defeated, trying to hide her stomach.

"Does the Dante know?"

She didn't answer.

I assumed he didn't.

And she wasn't planning on telling him.

Not in the situation they're in.

I walked to the door and stopped turning the knob when she laughed.

"Why do you even care? You kidnapped us against our will, treat us like prisoners with no freedom and destroy the only family we had."

I walked up to her on the bed, looked at her at eye level, leaning my face into hers.

"You don't need me to?" I asked.

"What?" she asked, trying to be unfazed.

"You don't need me to care? 'Cause I can do that. I'll throw you in the dungeon and you can sleep there with your Alpha with no food being given and you lie on the wet and cold floor there. Your call." I glared at her.

Even if rumors like me being heartless just like a rogue, I wasn't.

She avoided my eyes, trying to hide her teary eyes.

I wouldn't put her in the guest room if I didn't know that she was pregnant.

Soon, she couldn't stop crying.

I left her crying in the room and went in and entered the other room.

The Alpha was drinking water when I walked in.

"Amy." He said.

I rolled my eyes.

"It's not Amy." I said.

"Well, I don't know what your name is so how am I supposed to call you?" He explained.

"Don't." I said.

"What?" He furrowed his brows.

"Don't call me then."

"But I do know that you are a Luna of this pack...of rogues." He looked at me cautiously.

I ignored his remark.

"So, going back on where we left off." I said.

He laughed.

"What do you want to know more?"

"Why did they just give the guns to you?" I asked.

Giving something to a pack was foolish.

They could use it against you but accepting things like weapons was more foolish.

If they accept it, it could be self-destructive.

"We were allies." He said.

In my mind, I was shocked.

Joining hands is not popular anymore.

It died when someone decided to betray.

In this world, your pack is the only people you can trust.

"And you accepted it? With no doubt?"

"Of course. They gave it to us when we needed help. We returned their kindness by helping their pack when they needed it."

"Where are the other weapons?" I asked when I remembered he said that there was more.

"I can't tell you that."

It was the first time he refused to answer one of my questions.

I looked at him, not speaking.

"If something happens with the guns you've brought here, we can have a backup." He tried to explain.

We?

"Then tell me where it is." I commanded.

"I can't."

"You think, with you refusing to answer me, you'd get your way?" I tilted my head.

"Why do you think I kept you precious Layla alive?" I asked.

I knew sooner or later, I would need to threaten him.

His eyes opened wide.

"Unless you don't want your Layla precious and...alive?"

"Look, I just want the rest to be in safe hai." He tried to talk his way out of it desperately before he got caught off.

"Tell me now or I'll bring you Layla here and slice her throat."

I stared at him.

"It's in Antarctica. Go south from our Pack House and you'll be in Antarctica in 3 days if you go straight." He directed the way.

"Katy, bring a map and come to the fourth floor of the house." I mind-linked Katy.

I went outside of the room and waited for her.

"Here." She said as she gave me the map when she saw me.

"Thanks." I replied.

"What are going to do with that?" She asked.

"Later, I'll tell you." I said and let her continue what she was doing.

I entered the room again when she went down and placed the map on the bed.

"Point." I showed him Antarctica.

He pointed just outside of Antarctica and it was pretty far from where we were.

I took the map and looked at him once more.

"If this turns out as a lie," I paused and leaned closer to him.

"I'll make your unborn baby, fixated on unborn forever." I threatened.

I left the room with him shocked and unable to utter a word.

"Baby?" He said when I was on the second floor.

Once I reached the first floor, I saw Katy sitting on the couch and watching a show.

"Oh, Indigo! I was waiting for you." She said as she turned away from what she was watching.

"Why?" I said as I saw down next to her.

"You said you'd tell me later and I wanted to see you." She said as she looked at me.

"I wanted him to locate where the other weapons are."

"There's more? We already have many. Why would you want to get more?" She asked.

"Because, I want us, to be the only pack with guns. That'll raise our rank so much and we wouldn't have trouble with attacks." I looked at her as well.

We will earn our rightful place.

I looked at the time.

8:19 PM

For the past 6 hours, I have been watching and helping members train and practice.

I was waiting for news in constructing a new packhouse in the new territory but Grayson said that no reports have been made.

Suddenly, Soyer came out running from the forest and ran straight to me.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Luna(r) Indigo, I just came from the Frett's territory and a pack from somewhere suddenly came and asked where the Alpha and Luna of the Frett Pack is." He explained.

I looked at him sharply.

"What did you tell them?'

"I told them that the Pack was overpowered by us and that we own the territory of the Frett Pack." He replied.

I nodded slightly.

"The Alpha of the pack is adamant about seeing our Alpha, our leader." He whispered, hesitating to say it.

"Why don't they come to me if they want to see your leader?" I asked.

"I told them that but they want you to come there. We are outnumbered because most of us are here, Luna." He replied.

I looked at him.

If I order them to kill them even though they are on our territory, it'll be another bloodbath.

"What should we do, Luna?" He asked, stopping me from thinking.

"Let's go." I said.

"I'm coming." Grayson butted in.

"But Beta, who'll be in charge here?" Soyer asked.

"Katy." I said.

"Katy can do that." I looked at Katy who overheard the conversation.

"Yeah, yeah. I can do that. Go and smack that Alpha's ass Luna for making you go there." She joked.

When we reached the wrecked Pack House of the Frett Pack, I saw 10 werewolves waiting near the house.

I also saw workers from our pack working on the new pack house.

"Are you the leader?" A woman in her late 30s hesitated to ask.

"And you are?" I asked back.

"Osmic Pack and yours?" She kept asking.

"What are you here for?"

I ignored her question and she laughed.

"Where is Alpha Dante and Luna Layla?"

"I don't know. My Gamma already told you that this is not the Frett Pack's territory anymore. You may leave now." I said, partially lying.

"Hahaha. Are you sure that you brought your leader? You aren't mistaken?" She laughed as she asked Soyer.

I went in between her and my Gamma.

"Is there a problem? I clearly told you to leave our territory." I stared at the woman.

"Did you kill them?" She asked.

"I did not." I growled, saying the truth.

"How could you take their territory and not know where they are?" She asked.

"Look for the answer if you can't see it here." I remarked.

Because they aren't here.

"You're a brat with no respect." She said using the age to her advantage.

"I don't respect those who disrespect me, especially those who can't follow the rules of my territory." I smirked.

Before she shouted and cussed, a guy behind her stood in between me and the woman.

"Just tell us where they are." His dark voice intrigued me and made me look into his eyes.

"I don't know." I saw his blue with a splash of green eyes.

When he saw my red eyes, he was shocked.

Not just by the color of it but the feeling he felt when we looked into each other.

"Mate."
