Chapter 22 Raid

A few hours ago.

Tseng and Reeve run along the corridor toward lab 00 at the first Reactor. They've been busy with their work when one of the Monitor Personnel call them that there was trouble with the experiment where the President is.

When they arrived, they see the corpses of all scientists along with Mr. President, Heidegger, and Palmer mummified like being sucked by a Vampire.

"Damn it, You! Tell the security to observe all the monitors and look for the culprit!" said Tseng to one of the troops in the room.

"Yes, sir!" he said and left the room.

"What should we do?" he said to Reeve who was looking around the lab seriously.

"Let's go back and get the Vice President out of his house arrest. We will continue to talk with him!" said Reeve as he walks out of the room.

He stops and looks at one of the investigators. "Tell the monitor room to look for Kadaj, since it was him that experimented here!"

Half an hour later, Reeve and Tseng stood in the President's room and in front of them was Rufus Shinra who just took the mantle of President after his father died.

"So, my father died at the hand of his creation? Now, have you found the culprit?" he asked.

"It still investigates President Rufus. But, we suspect it was Kadaj who was the subject of today's experiment." answer Tseng.

"Of course it is! Who else done it when it was only him that went missing in the lab." said Rufus annoyed when suddenly there is a knock.

"Come in!" said Rufus at the door.

"Mr. President, this is terrible! We found out that almost half of the SOLDIER was killed and they died the same way the former President is!" the personal answer as he got into the room before giving him a disk with the information.

"Did you get any visual on how he did it?" asked Reeve.

"No, We still haven't get any visual on the culprit Director." he answer.

"I see." said Reeve as he looks at Rufus.

"You can leave!" said Rufus toward the personnel.

As he left, Rufus looks at Tseng and Reeve. "Tell the citizen that there is a mass murderer on the loose. Blame it as the work of Night Raids or Avalanche!" he said to Tseng then look at Reeve. "Up the security and gather all SOLDIER as it seems that they were easy picking when alone by whatever hunt them," he said as he looks at the picture contained on the disk that was given by the personnel.

"As you wish, sir!" said both Reeve and Tseng.

At Junon,

After getting a call from Tifa, Cloud call for a meeting with Sephiroth, Angeal, Genesis, and Zack. After telling them Luke's messages, they agree that it was now to launch an offensive.

They call all their combatants to get ready for the attack then board Arcadia to go to Midgar.

Ten minutes later, they all are ready and have board Arcadia which was control by Alice to go to Midgar which only took 30 seconds with its speed.

Arriving over Midgar, Sephiroth, Angeal, and Genesis jump over Arcadia as they can fly then start to attack Reactor 1, 2, and 3 respectively. Cloud then launch an attack at Reactor 4 while Zack took reactor 5. Rosso, Shelke took 20 people with them and take care of reactor 6, and 7 respectively and the last reactor 8 was taken care of by Elfe.

The rest of the crew was sent out to join the Riots as they attack Shinra troops that were sent to disperse the mass.

When they were descended from Arcadia, they also see in between Sector 5 and 4 a clash between Luke and Jenova that destroy almost everything in their surrounding.

As this all happened, Tifa, Aerith, and Rena were helping the citizen in the area of Luke's fight to evacuate.

Luke POV

"For someone who just wakes up, you sure know how to fight!" I said as I look at Jenova across the building.

"It was all thanks to the child that has my Cell in their bodies. Their combined combat experience is enough for me to reach this level of strength." she said while taking a thrusting stance.

Her sword has become transparent as the fight going on and now I can only see the hilt of the sword. She thrust her sword at me and I feel a threat as she does it, so I move away from where I stood.

I look at the side where I stand before and see the transparent sword extend and stabbed through the building.

"What an annoying sword, how does it changing mid-fight?" I said to myself as I use teleport beside Jenova and cut her. But, she manages to retract her sword and block the attack as it was close to her neck.

"You are so impatient, aiming for a kill as soon as you get a chance." she said then suddenly I feel something bit me on the shoulder. I look at it and see that her sword change again as it now looked like a living being hitting on my shoulder.

"The heck is this!" I said as I disengaged and jump away from her followed by her sword that now moves in a weird way chasing after me. As it happens, the wound on my shoulder is already healed.

"Mnhhh, your blood is so good and I want more!" said Jenova with a crazed look as she dashed toward me upping her attacking pace.

"Sorry, you're not my type!" I said casually then decide to be serious as I active my Devil Trigger.

"Let's end it here, Jenova!" I said as a demonic energy sword materialize circling me. I shoot the sword making her focus on defense and use Judgement Cut on her, cutting her into several pieces.

I walk toward the butchered Jenova and see that she was still alive. She smirk at me then suddenly, her body dissolved into nothingness but I don't think she died.

"Tch, she run away huh?" I Said as I look around for a clue where she could leave but there's nothing.

"Whatever, we will meet again if she is still alive after all. Now, let's help the group destroy Shinra Company." I thought, then flew toward Shinra Headquarters.

At sector 3, close to the third reactor we can see a group of SOLDIER gathered as they were going to go fight the intruder which was former First Class and traitor Genesis. There were around 20 third class, 6 seconds class, and one first-class in their group.

As they were going to go out. Suddenly one of the second class screams in pain and from his body appears tentacles that start to go around stabbing all people in the room before sucking them to death leaving them like a mummy.

The second class SOLDIER starts to change and at the end of the change, Jenova emerges.

"Ugh, what an unreasonable sword!" curse Jenova as she groans.

"It stole my vitality every time it cut me. That last attack takes almost every chunk of my lifespan. If I don't leave that place, I might die in his hand. I should stop antagonizing him as he could kill me easily." she said as she left the room because she heard many noises outside.

"What is this? Did they clone Sephiroth by chance? A woman Sephiroth at that! What will he say when he sees this? Hahaha" said a red-haired man as he walks toward Jenova.

"Genesis?" said Jenova as she looks at him.

"You know me?" he asked as he looked at her up and down. 'I don't know that Sephiroth will be this hot as a woman.' he thought.

"One of the three Monster, why can't I feel my cell in you anymore? Did that man do something to you?" she said and Genesis raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"What do you mean by my Cell?" he asked.

"I am Jenova!" she answers which makes him alerted while readying his sword.

"From your reactions, that man must have told you about me!" she said as she also taking out her sword.

"Whatever, I will know when I look into your memory!" she said and start her attack.
