22 Chapter 21 Mass Murderer on the Loose
Still the same day at Junon.
After the battle royal that ended with Sephiroth win. We are now at the meeting room talking about Elfe and how she can improve her fighting style. Zack was pouting at the side when he found out that he was left out of the battle royal because he was busy soaring with Cloud.
As we talk, I got a phone call.

I look at it and see that it was Tifa who has called.
"Yes, Tifa? What happens?" I asked as it was rare for her to call as she can just come here if she wants to talk unless it was urgent.
"Luke, something happened and Shinra was now on high alert! Did Cloud and the others start their mission?" she asked hurriedly.
"Huh, no they are all here with me. They just finish sparing with each other. Anyway, I'll be back in a bit and investigate what happens." I answer her as get up from my seat.
"Okay, I'll be waiting." she answer and I close the call.
"Guys, something happens back in Midgar and I have to check on it." I said and left the room.

Arriving at Midgar, I heard siren resounding all around Midgar stating that there is Mass Murderer on the Loose. Though, they've been blaming it as Night Raids and Avalanche's fault.
Hearing this I went to my monitor room which connects with all the 'Bugs' I spread around Midgar to spy on Shinra Directors and Executive.
It was there I found out that Heidegger, President Shinra, and Palmer were last seen watching the completion of their new Weapon if it can be said to be that which is Kadaj who was in his last phase of Experimentation. Everything was going on week until suddenly his feed was cut off when they stood before the Glass Tank where Kadaj is.
"Hooo, Something must have gone wrong with the experiment! I have to go and take a look. But, before that, what did they mean by there is a mass murderer on the loose." I said to mys self and hack into the server of the Turks and look at the victim of this mass murderer and what I find out is a corpse of clearly a SOLDIER from the look of their clothes died from being mummified.
"Wao, did we get a vampire on the loose or something. Though I've been having a feeling that I will meet with a long-time acquaintance from this." I said as I close the connection while erasing any sign of hacking.
"Now, let's check the Crime Scene! Wait, I can't do that as of right now there might be littered with Shinra personnel investigating on the case." I thought for a bit before deciding to look over many on my Bugs that close to the Lab where it happens.
"Found it!" I smile as I see two of my bugs was at the scene. It was the one which follow after Tseng and Reeve Tuesti. I start to control it and look around the destroyed lab to see all the people there who died from being mummified like the SOLDIER, including President Shinra, Heidegger, and Palmer who was at the scene.
"Now, I am certain about whom these mass murderers of ours. I want to look for it now, but let's do a counter-campaign against Shinra first. Can't let them smears the name of my organization after all." I said before I start hacking the Media and post about the experiment that happen and what was on the loose from their failure.
"Let's strike while the pan still hot!" I thought before I post all Shinra's dirty deeds on media for all Midgar citizens to see one by one and after I was satisfied with it I walk out of my monitor room. Only to be greeted by Aerith, Tifa, Claudia, Ifalna, and Rena who look worried.
"Luke, what happens?" asked Tifa worriedly.
"Calm down girls, everything is okay. It was just one of Shinra experiments on the loose killing their people. Talk about their weapons backfired on themselves." I said with a wry smile which was answer with a chuckle from Ifalna.
"Isn't that happen everytime? What with five of their First Class SOLDIER now actively fighting against them." she said with a smile which made the others at ease and smile at her statement.
"But, what about the fact that they blame it on Night Raids?" asked Claudia with a frown.
"Heh, just look at the news and you know the answer!" I said walking out of the mansion.
"Anyway, Tifa, you call Cloud and tell them about what happen and also tell them it was time to strike! I will hunt this mass murderer as I got a feeling I know it." I said as I left the mansion. The girls were showing a confused expression as I call it 'It' while Ifalna and Aerith realize what I've been talking about and showed a surprised expression.
"But, haven't you already deal with it?" Ifalna said to herself, before coming into a conclusion by herself.
"It can't be! But, from what was written by the Ancient it is possible!" she said drawing the attention of the others.
"What are you talking about?" asked Rena confused.
"I will explain it to all of you, let's go inside!" she said and they walk back inside the Mansion.

Flying over Midgar, I see the fruit of my doing. There are so many riots here and there from the information I post on the media. Knowing that the Murderer on the loose is some kind of Shinra experiment who seems only to target Shinra employees for now along with all Shinra's dirty deeds makes them furious.
Arriving at the last Victims that died a few minutes ago, I land myself on one of the buildings. Looking down at the corpse of a SOLDIER at the street.
"Alice, any new victim?" I asked my AI as I look around.
<Negative, this one is the latest victim I found>
"Okay, continue to search. It must be around!" I told her.
"Fufufu, That would be unnecessary. If the one you are searching is me that is, Luke Valentine." said a woman voice that seems to be close but I know it was not.. I look up to my front and see her flying around three kilometers from me. She looks like a female version of Sephiroth and quite gorgeous at that with a pair of black wings on her back like a Fallen Angel.
"Like I thought, whatever they do. They brought you back to live huh, JENOVA!" I said as I start to fly toward her.
"Ara, you seem to be not pleased with my return? After you impaled my body and start to devour it all those years ago, I thought you will be happy to meet me again." she said with a smile that I find on a Yandere woman I watch in my last life.
"I see that after 2000 years being in that state does not mean that you are unlearned. You learn to be quite a sass after all." I said tilting my head.
"Fufufu, quite easy for someone like us as we can just absorb the memory of the one we killed after all." she said with a smile.
"I see. So, what will you do now? Being free after 2000 years of slumber. Continuing what you done years ago?" I asked.
"That depends on whether you can defeat me or not!" she said while pulling out a saber.
"Hoo, then let me see what a millennium-old monster can do," I said while summoning out Yamato from my soul space.
We stood still for a moment while observing each other before we clash our blades with each other.
