The killing intent that Yuuta felt got even more intense as the entity approached. Yuuta didn't dare look back. For the first time in his life, he was genuinely afraid— afraid that he'd die in an instant if he so as to glance at the entity behind him.
He stopped the construction of the Nightmare Guild House a few seconds ago and from where he was, he remained immobile. His breathing and heart rate quickened no matter how much he wanted to calm down and a surge of adrenaline coursed through his body, giving him the fight, flight, or freeze response. Unfortunately for him, he froze, and that is almost always not good when one finds himself in danger.
"What was that? And why is it here? Is it an adventurer? No, that's not possible. I can go head to head with any adventurer. Then what is that thing?!" Yuuta said under his breath, forcing himself to calm down but he just wouldn't.
