Devil's Eyes

Ace was suffocating under Dande's pressure, but that wasn't what gave him the chill's, no, it was his eyes. Dante's green eyes, where long gone, and replaced with a devil's eyes. All that Ace could see in them was rage and murder, his little brother's murduder, to be exact, in multiple ways. Ace was seeing various scenarios of Jimmy's death, all of them paralyzing him with fear.

"Yes, that's what's going to happen to him, if you don't stay away from Cheryl." He kept taunting him, when he saw Ace panicking under his hand. He kept trying to get his bony hand away from his throat, but he went right through him, every time.

"What...who are you? You said...you said only those related by blood to you..." He was struggling to speak with his windpipe blocked by Dante.

"You should ask your sorry excuse of a father about that, but your straying from our topic of conversation. This is my last warning, Ace Andrews, stay away from my little sister. She doesn't need you, screwing her life, more then it already is! Stop hunting her, she's Yennefer's niece, you are bound by blood to never hurt someone with Greendale blood in their veins."

"You stay away from Jimmy...he has nothing to do with this!"

"I will, of you do. So think carefully, next time you go near my Cheryl."

"You're sick..."

"You have no idea, brother. And I assure you, that it will be in your best interest to never find out."

He was gone as fast as he first appeared, and he was still struggling to breathe, he couldn't shake the cold feeling that Dante installed in his body. The way he saw Jimmy dying in those eyes, broke his damned soul. Jimmy was everything he fought for, since his father bailed on him at ten years old, and know it was for the first time in twenty years, that he actually wanted to speak with that bastard. He was somehow related to that...that creature, because he couldn't phantom another word for Dante.

He was still crouched behind the bushes when he heard Cheryl's frantic words about going home to clean the house, because apparently their mother was coming at midnight. Ace chased her all day to find answers, and all he got were more questions. Who the fuck were they and what was the connection that he had with Dante? He called him 'brother', but he knew nothing of them, the last thing he knew about his father, was that the idiot had gone nuts, hunting without the council's approval. Ace kept watching Cheryl's back, while she put the leash on her cat, hurrying to go back home. The sun just started to set, so she will be at her apartment until midnight at least, waiting for the mistery woman to appear. He had time to make a trip to his own mother. It was time for Samara to answer some questions. In the meantime he needed Jimmy to stay away from those two. He couldn't risk his safety until he knew who they were.

Dusting his jeans, he called his little brother, trying to find his way out of the woods.

"Hey champ, look I need you to stay away from my new neighbor. That means no delivery, until I say so. I found some stuff today, but I can't say more for now. And please, for once in your life, listen to me."

Leaving only a message, after he didn't pick up, was all he could do at the moment. He wanted to call his mother, but at the last moment he switched lanes, and ventured deeper into the woods. A home visit was better, he knew that a face to face confrontation was bound to give him what he wanted. The thing was, he didn't knew what he wanted, and he was about to turn his life completely upside down.
