97 Relationship Approved

Once Lu Xun left the hotel with the promises to keep in touch, Zhang Yu Han brought Li Qin Yao back to his office. Anyway, the meeting had ended earlier than they thought and there were still a few hours before the working hours ended.

"Zhang Yu Han, is it alright for your friend to invest that much money?" Li Qin Yao asked as they both entered Zhang Yu Han's office.

"You don't have to worry about Lu Xun," Zhang Yu Han smiled as he pointed to the sofa for Li Qin Yao to sit. "That guy has a lot of money. He and a few of his friends start a gaming company while we were still studying in college, and became rich after a few games under their company goes popular. A few years ago, he decided to sell his share and returned to this country."

Zhang Yu Han paused upon seeing Li Qin Yao's dazed expression. A tinge of regret appeared in his mind. Perhaps he shouldn't say a lot of good things about Lu Xun lest Li Qin Yao would find him interesting. "What are you thinking about?"

"I'm impressed," Li Qin Yao let out a long sigh. "How did your friend have tome make a lot of money while studying? Back then, I think I played around too much. Right," she paused as she took out her laptop from her bag. "Can I use the plug here? I need to e-mail a few things to Liang Sheng"

"Sure." Zhang Yu Han pointed towards a corner just beside the sofa. "There is still an hour and a half before the work hours ended. You can sit here while we wait. If you need anything, just tell me."

At this time, Secretary Tian walked in with a tray of refreshment. She placed them at the coffee table and glanced towards the two in the office. Earlier, a few of her co-workers had emailed and texted her to know the gossip about their single director.

From Secretary Tian's observation, she thought that the two had a good relationship. However, this was not something that she can say to her co-workers. She still loved her job.

Once Secretary Tian left, Li Qin Yao pulled out her laptop to email Liang Sheng and the others of her instruction. It did not take a long time for Li Mu Bai to text her his congratulatory.

Seeing that Li Qin Yao was focusing on her laptop, Zhang Yu Han went back to his desk to read a few files that Secretary Tian had piled on his table. Once in awhile, Zhang Yu Han would peek at Li Qin Yao who seemed so focused on her work.

A smile curved on Zhang Yu Han's lips as he continued to watch Li Qin Yao for a while longer. He thought that he really enjoyed this arrangement where he can see her whenever he raised his head.

Watching Li Qin Yao like this made him feel as if his fatigue had all disappeared. Once he had watched her enough, Zhang Yu Han went back to read the file on his hands.

When Zhang Yu Han looked up again, it was five minutes before work ended and his sister, Zhang Yu Ying sent him a reminder to show up at the restaurant on time.

Zhang Yu Han rubbed at his temple and cleared the documents on his table. Glancing at the woman who sat in his office, Zhang Yu Han was about to call Li Qin Yao to remind her to get packed. His movement stopped when he saw how Li Qin Yao was leaning on the sofa with her eyes close.

Slowly, he walked over to the sofa. Looking at the way she did not react and the way her chest was heaving up and down steadily, Zhang Yu Han was sure that Li Qin Yao had fallen asleep.

For a second, Zhang Yu Han did not know what he should do. His hand moved to wake her up, but as he watched her sleeping peacefully, Zhang Yu Han retracted his hand and let her sleep longer.

These past few days, he had spent most of his time with her. Naturally, Zhang Yu Han knew how hard Li Qin Yao and her team worked on the tender. Because this is the first project for QL Group in B City, there are a lot of things for them to do and consider. At a time, Zhang Yu Han would accompany her as she worked overtime.

However, because real estate was not something he understood much, there was not much that he can help with.

Zhang Yu Han stood silently beside her and watch her as she slept for more than five minutes. It was when Secretary Tian rapped her knuckle softly on his door that Zhang Yu Han finally snapped out of his thought.

At this time, Li Qin Yao began to stir up from her sleep.

Zhang Yu Han then moved away from the sofa and head to the door before Li Qin Yao woke up from her nap properly. Once he opened the door, Secretary Tian stared at her boss with a surprised expression.

Usually, when Secretary Tian knocked on his door, she will have to wait until her boss permitted to enter. But now, Director Zhang had stood in front of her to open the door. Of course, she was confused!

However, she had glanced into the room earlier and saw that the woman who was with their Director was stretching up as if just woken up from a nap. Seeing this scene, Secretary Tian could guess why her boss had come to the door.

"What's wrong?" Zhang Yu Han's deep voice resounded in the room.

Secretary Tian snapped out of her thought and steadied herself. "Director Zhang, the Chairman wanted you to remind him when you're ready to go back. He will be waiting for you in the coffee house."

"Tell him that I will come to him in five minutes."

"Yes." Secretary Tian nodded and retreated politely. Once the door closed again, Secretary Tian let out a gasp in excitement. It was frustrating for Secretary Tian. It seemed that she had stumbled into something worth gossiping about, but there was nothing she could do but to keep everything to herself.

Back in the office, Zhang Yu Han turned around and saw that Li Qin Yao was staring at him. He cleared his throat and walked over to the sofa.

"Sorry. I seemed to fall asleep." Li Qin Yao looked at him guiltily. "What time is it?" She reached for her phone on the table to look at the time.

Zhang Yu Han smiled. "If you're ready, we can go out now. Grandfather is waiting for us."

As she recalled that she had promised to have a meal with the Zhang's, Li Qin Yao quickly gathered her stuff.

"Take your time." Zhang Yu Han reminded her.

Li Qin Yao nodded but did not reduce her speed to pack up her belongings. Once she finished, both of them walked out of Zhang Yu Han's office together and headed to the Coffee House to pick up Zhang Jing.

Because it was around the time the employees clocked out, many of the hotel's employees ran into both of them as they walked around the hotel together. Some of the overexcited employees even snapped a few pictures to share among the coworkers.

When an employee sneaked a photo of Li Qin Yao talking happily together with both their Chairman and Director, another rumor that said that their Director's relationship with the girl was approved by the Chairman began to spread.

Thus, a few girls who had set their eyes on Director Zhang had their heartbroken.

Of course, the three of them knew nothing about this new rumor.
