96 Interested to Invest

Li Qin Yao stood at the entrance of the train station in Y City. Occasionally, she would stand tiptoe to look at the road to look for that familiar Cayenne. After a while, the phone in her hand buzzed. Li Qin Yao checked at the message and saw that Zhang Yu Han should be arriving soon.

For the past few days, Li Qin Yao noticed that she has been meeting with Zhang Yu Han frequently.

Most of the time, Zhang Yu Han would come over to B City, pick her up at her apartment and they both would stay together in her office to discuss work. Because she wanted to avoid the traffic, Li Qin Yao chose to travel by train and let Zhang Yu Han pick her up from the station.

Two minutes after his text, Zhang Yu Han's Cayenne came into view.

"Have you wait for too long?" Zhang Yu Han asked. He turned on the signal before he drove into the lane. When he caught Li Qin Yao fanning herself with her hand, Zhang Yu Han turned up the air conditioner.

"No," Li Qin Yao shook her head. She looked at Zhang Yu Han and asked, "Where are we going?"

"Back to the hotel."

"Ah?" Li Qin Yao's eyes grew wide. "If you told me earlier, I would fetch a taxi to the hotel. Isn't this is too troublesome for you to drive back and forth from your office?"

"It's nothing troublesome," Zhang Yu Han glanced at the girl beside him and smile. He was slowly courting the girl he like, how would he find it troublesome? In fact, he was happy that he got to spend more time with her like this. "Actually, we were supposed to meet my friend somewhere else, but there has been a change in plan."

Li Qin Yao nodded.

"Will you be free afterward? Grandfather said he has not seen you for a while. If you're free, let's have dinner together. Grandfather had booked a private room at the Fujian restaurant we met previously. My sister will be joining us as well."

Li Qin Yao recalled the restaurant mentioned. Not too long ago, it was Han Yue Xiu who invited her to the restaurant. However, due to an accident, Han Yue Xiu did not show up and she had never tried the food at the restaurant.

"Okay," Li Qin Yao took out her phone and send a text to her mother that she will return home late. Previously, she had cleared up her schedule to meet this investor as she was not sure how long will this meeting last. Therefore, she had no other plan other than meeting with this potential investor.

Zhang Yu Han lips tilted up slightly at her agreement.

The drive back to the hotel took him less than fifteen minutes. Zhang Yu Han parked at his designated parking lot and led Li Qin Yao towards the lift.

Because it was rare to see their Director with a girl beside him, the employees began to peek at the two of them. Some of them recognized Li Qin Yao as Zhang Yu Han had taken her on tour around the hotel not too long ago.

Seeing the two of them together, the employees were excited. They started to whisper among themselves and soon, a rumor that Director Zhang showed up at the hotel with his girlfriend spread like wildfire.

Of course, Zhang Yu Han had no idea of this rumor.

The two of them went to the hotel's lounge where a waitress led them to a slightly hidden spot, where a man with black-rimmed spectacle was waiting for them.

Once he saw Zhang Yu Han walked over to him, Lu Xun stood up and buttoned up his suit. He glanced at the woman beside Zhang Yu Han and smiled. "You're here."

"Have you been waiting for a long time?" Zhang Yu Han asked. He shook his hand with Lu Xun and patted him on the shoulder.

"No. Just arrived," Lu Xun said. He glanced at Li Qin Yao and raised a brow to his friend.

"Let me introduce you. Li Qin Yao, this is the President of NEXT Group, Lu Xun. Lu Xun, this is Li Qin Yao, the General Manager of QL Group in B City's branch."

"Hello," both of them greeted each other.

Zhang Yu Han pulled a chair for Li Qin Yao before he took a seat beside her.

At this time, the waiter approached them with a glass of iced lemon tea for Lu Xun. Seeing that his boss was seated with the customer, the waiter then took the drink order from Zhang Yu Han and head back to the bar.

The three of them chatted briefly until the waiter came back with freshly squeezed juice for both Zhang Yu Han and Li Qin Yao.

Li Qin Yao watched the bespectacled man with her eyes wide. "President Lu, don't you need to listen to the plan or look over some documents first?"

Lu Xun glanced at his friend, then spoke again. "Yu Han had already briefed me about this project. Zhang Group has invested in this project and I trust that Yu Han will not invest in a project that will not bring them any profit," he said and smiled. Then, Lu Xun leaned on his seat, pulled out a pen from his pocket and wrote something on a napkin. "Do you think this amount is enough?" he slid the napkin on the table.

Li Qin Yao reached for the napkin and swallowed as she saw the amount of money that Lu Xun was willing to invest. This... is more than enough.

With this amount, she will no longer need to worry about finding another investor. She can focus on the tender without worrying about anything else!
