40 It's Time

It didn't take time for Megan to find Luke as fortunately, he found her. " Hey Megan have you seen Holden?", he asked giving her one of those sweet smiles that was hard to ignore. " No.... but I have seen you", she said smiling back at him to have him stare at her weirdly. " Just come with me", she said and dragged him to seat with her at one of the guest seats far away.

" I would like to do an interview on the feelings of every one at the wedding and you being the groom, I thought why not start with you first", she said smiling at him and he smiled in understanding and quickly arranged his dark brown hair before realizing there was no camera to capture the moment.

" Umm Megan you don't have a note and there's literally no camera around", he said and she rolled her eyes playfully at him. " Who needs a camera when you have a sharp eye. Don't worry I'll capture the moment myself", she said and he nodded his head softly even though he felt her behavior was slightly out of character.

" First question Luke, where the heck is Holden right now?", she asked hoping that after she was done with Luke she could go find Holden with ease. Luke sighed before shaking his head softly. " I knew something was up, you are interviewing me because you wish to know where Holden is, Megan I thought you would be done by now", he said to have her narrow her eyes realizing that he was referring to her old affections for Holden.

Did she have to write it on her forehead with red marker before everyone would understand that she was done with Holden. He stood up tiredly and was about walking away when she abruptly stood up as well and held him back in place. " You are not fucking going anywhere Luke because obviously you weren't up for the docile me, you want mean and that's what you'll get", she said to have Luke frown in confusion.

" Megan this is getting weird", he said softly not expecting Megan to be this strong. " No not this but you are getting weird. Weren't you the one who had the idea of this entire stuff?", she asked him for him to nod in agreement.

" I don't want nodding Luke Huxley I want answers in words", she said in a serious tone and Luke swallowed deeply. "Yes I brought the idea so?", he asked and she laughed ironically. " Did you or did you not pick the role of the groom?", she asked after laughing like a maniac and Luke felt like the girl had gone crazy.

" I did pick the role of the groom", he replied her and she smiled sinisterly. " Then why the fuck are you dressed like a priest?", she asked him and he realized, this wasn't about Holden at all.

Luke finally found Holden sneaking his way out of a particular room and he pointed to Megan whilst breathing a breath of fresh air, she had made him come out to find Holden. " There's Holden, can I go now?", he asked and she shook her head in relunctance. " Call him", she said and he sighed. " Holden stop", he yelled from where him and her were standing and Holden stopped his movements turning around slowly to meet their gaze.

His face darkened when he saw it was Megan and then Luke who was next to her but she didn't even have the time to stare at his stupid face. How could she not have seen this? Obviously she had been hating the wrong brother, all in the name of loving the asshole. That's right Holden Langford was a huge asshole and she wished girls saw it just like how it had been revealed to her and all thanks to Mabel.

They both walked over to Holden till they were finally standing in front of him. " This is satisfying to see", he said referring to the fact that Luke was in a compromising situation with Megan who had her hand on his collar firmly.

" As much as it is satisfying to your eyes Holden, don't you think you've been more of a jerk all through today", Megan said calmly for Holden to raise his eyebrows at her questioningly. " That's right, you heard me Holden, you've been a jerk", she repeated to have him glare at her coldly. What was wrong with Megan Pierce?

"Holden both you and Luke should literary grow up. You and him have been playing the cat and rat chase since I've known you guys but for once today put your stupid differences aside and help Jace, he's in need of it", she said and he just replied curtly. " If it's about Jace, I'll handle it".

Megan wasn't agreeing on that one. " Oh you'll deal with it and how do you intend on doing that, by playing groom?", she asked him and Holden realized he was still wearing Luke's suit.

" I was just about looking for Luke so we could switch back clothings", he said but Megan rolled her eyes deeply at him. He could have sworn he had never seen this bitchy and bossy part of her, she was so mean, that it made everything you do, look stupid.

" There is no time for dumb excuses Holden. Jace is working is butt out there to make sure this idea doesn't fall to the ground and he clearly can't have you both acting like children as well", she said in a matter of fact tone.

" Do him and me a favor and change back into your fucking respective clothings and act sanely for the wedding to come any moment from now", she said while Luke stared at the floor dejectedly. Had he really been that childish? Well the proof was right in front of him, Holden was dressed in his suit and he was dressed like the priest.

" We got carried away Huxley I mean Luke", Holden said softly for Luke to nod in agreement. " Want to make it up to Jace?", Luke asked calmly and Holden nodded. " Let's head into that dressing room to get changed", Holden said and Megan let go of Luke's collar and walked along with them. They stopped and turned around to face her frowning while she stared at them puzzled.

" Why did you guys stop?", she asked impatiently and they sighed deeply like she had done minutes ago. " Why are you following us Megan?", Holden asked and Megan turned her gaze to meet him, he didn't have that glare or irritated face just his casual soft look, she literally remained glued like a doll.

" Megan Pierce why are you following us?", he asked again and she broke out of her thoughts. Staring at the both of them, she tried to process Holden's words and soon realized she was following them right into the changing room. Her cheeks turned red immediately and she shook her head absent mindedly.

" I'm so sorry and please forget I ever tried to follow you guys ok", she said and ran away from there while Luke stared at her retreating figure. " I didn't know that Megan Pierce could be so inspiring", Luke said while shaking his head softly for Holden to chuckle. " I think she has a thing for Jace which is so weird as she once had something for me", he said and followed Luke heading for the changing room.

" Ahhh you are now a thing of the past to Megan Pierce", Luke said and Holden remained calm, he didn't have to react everytime this guy pressed his buttons, besides, it was a thing of joy to be free from Megan Pierce, she was too clingy.

Megan hurried down the busy beach to get to Jace in time who was busy passing out orders non stop. " The flowerpot at table seven has a scratch, I don't see anyone fixing it", he yelled for someone to immediately hurry up to fix it.

He turned around and found Megan approaching him. " Ahhh Megan thank God you took long", he said as he breathed deeply while she just smiled. " Well Jace Langford I've fixed your problem, spoke to your brothers and they promised to behave", she said and he sighed again.

" Why the rush though?", she asked him and he stared at her like she was joking with him. " Are you kidding me right now Megan?", Jace asked perturbed and she shook her head skeptical about how to respond, what did he mean?

" The sun is almost out, it's 4:39 in the evening", Jace listed out the obvious and he didn't need to list out more as she quickly screamed. " And I'm not even dressed up yet", she said and ran away from him. Jace stared at her running and frowned. What was it with everyone and dressing up today? Was he the only one who didn't care how he looked?

The door to the dressing room flew open and in came six girls, all dressed in peach flowered dresses who were literally panicking. " it's almost time, it almost time, it's almost time", Chloe chanted gleefully as she watched the other girls fixed Mabel up making sure there was not one single mistake.

" How does she look?", Lily Rose asked all of a sudden and the girls paused what they were doing to stare at Mabel. " She looks marvelous", Sylvia complimented in a heartfelt manner. " Like the daughter I never had", Lina said cheekilly to have the others roll their eyes at her.

"What? Guys we've been so stressed out, I thought we needed the humor", she said softly and the other girls released their breath. After making sure there was no mess, they went straight to the window trying to get a glimpse of the beach, only Lyra and Petra stayed back.

" You seem okay", Petra said and Lyra smiled softly. " You do seem ok, like you can walk through this without any problems", Lyra added for Mabel to chuckle. " Trust me when I say this, it only looks like that on the outside but on the inside I am half a mess right now", she said to have Lyra and Petra laugh softly.

" Literally guys you all have literally been the best and I don't know if I would have pulled through if it wasn't for you all", Mabel said and the other girls turned towards her with mixed emotions.

"Someone told me that i shouldn't run away from what I had instead i should accept it wholehearted and you guys are seriously what I gained from all this, I think I like you all", she said smiling sheepishly and they all ran to hug her, oh they had so much fun being a part of Mabel's life.

Just then a very calm and comforting song started playing all the way from the beach and Lina yelled out happily, " It's time".
