The Formal Confession (part 1)

Although Sabrina said that she would memorize her lines, she ended up rummaging her luggage for clothes instead.

"What do I wear?" Sabrina said in frustration as she placed her clothes in front of her in front of the mirror to see if it fits her, but she ends up throwing them to the side. She lied down in bed and stared at the ceiling, "Why the heck did I not bring some good clothes?" she said to herself.

Suddenly, Sabrina's phone beeped. She immediately sat up and checked.

It was a text from Alexander.

From: Bossy Alexander Grande

'Go check the big cabinet.'

Sabrina instantly raised her brows upon reading Alexander's message. She stood up from her bed and headed straight for the huge cabinet inside the room. She reached out her hand and slid the door gently.

As soon as she opened the cabinet, she immediately covered her mouth in shock. The cabinet was filled with a bunch of women's stuff.

From dresses, to formal wears, to shoes and accessories. It was a luxury!

Sabrina walked to the cabinet and checked the clothes one by one. She gasped in shock as she saw that it was all designer clothes!

Oscar de la Renta, Gucci, Hermes, Chanel, Prada, Ralph Lauren, and Dior.

This is was completely fortune!

Sabrina immediately walked out of her room and headed to Alexander's room. As she was about to knock, she immediately remembered what happened earlier.

Coming here is dangerous.

"Let's just text him," she whispered to herself as she pulled her hand back and turned to go back to her room.

As soon as she entered inside, she immediately grabbed her phone and opened Alexander's contact.

To: Bossy Alexander Grande

'What's up with this lavish-filled cabinet?'

Just after a couple of seconds from sending the message, Sabrina already received a reply.

From: Bossy Alexander Grande

'Don't know the brand you prefer so I just bought all of them."

Sabrina immediately 'wowed' when she saw Alexander's reply.

This man sure was stinking rich!

Sabrina was just about to reply to Alexander when she heard a knock on her door.

"Come in," she shouted.

The door opened and it was Alexander. Sabrina instantly gulped as he entered.

"Liked the clothes?" he asked.

Sabrina, who was staring at Alexander didn't hear what he said. Her eyes were completely locked on Alexander's naked torso in front of her.

He only had a towel wrapped around his waist as he just got out of the shower.

"You okay baby?" Alexander asked as he noticed Sabrina space out.

Snapping out of reality, Sabrina immediately turned her head sideways. Her face turned into a complete tomato, "I'm okay… loved the clothes… now leave," she said in an embarrassed tone.

Alexander immediately chuckled when he saw her blushing face, "I'll be out for the day, I'll come pick you up at 7:40," he said.

"Okay," Sabrina answered. Alexander then, turned around to leave with a smile on his face which made Sabrina sigh in relief.

Will there be any peaceful day here for her?

After preparing, Alexander immediately headed out with Grey to fix some matters in his company. He already neglected work for several days now, he needs to tend to them now.

Inside the car, Alexander brought his phone out and clicked on Sabrina's contact number.

To: Baby

'I'm heading out now, wait for me okay?'

From: Baby

'Take care."

Alexander smiled at her reply. It was simple but sweet.

"It's good to see you smile often Mr. Grande," said Grey who was currently driving.

"Can you focus on the road?" Alexander scolded while he raised his brows on him.

Grey immediately gulped. Wrong move!

As soon as Alexander and Grey arrived at Cosche, they immediately went straight to the meeting room.

"Mr. Grande," greeted the board members. Alex just nodded at them and went straight on his seat.

"Let's begin," he said as he crossed his legs.

"Sir, Lockwood Corporation will be opening a franchise here in Los Angeles. I heard that it's a partnership with the Crook Empire du Parfum," one board member said.

"I'm afraid that they'll be a big threat to us Mr. Grande, it's the Crook Empire after all," added one board member.

Alexander immediately turned his head and looked at the person who last spoke, "Are you new here?" he asked as he raised his brows.

"I've been here for 2 years already Sir," the man answered.

"Then you should know that this issue is nothing," Alexander spoke, "Let me deal with it," he added confidently.

The other board members didn't speak as they knew Alexander's capabilities. This man built his own empire from rugs, he doesn't deserve his position if he can't solve this.

"For now I want you guys to prepare and research about perfume," Alexander said.

"Perfume?" asked a member.

"Are we entering the perfume business now Mr. Grande?"

"I won't tell any details for now. I just want you guys to focus on your tasks. I want your reports submitted by Saturday night. That's all for today," Alexander said as he stood up and left the company.

"We're venturing in perfume now Mr. Grande?" Grey asked as they walked to the car park.

"I'll tell you the details later, let's go to the mall first," Alexander instructed.

"Noted Sir," Grey said. Both men boarded the car and headed to the mall.

Reaching the mall, Alexander immediately searched for a jewellery store as soon as he entered the mall.

He settled in a store called 'Sieraden'.

"Good afternoon Sir, may I ask what you're looking for?" asked the saleslady.

"I'm looking for a bracelet that doesn't look too expensive but has a meaning," Alexander elaborated.

"I think we have something that matches your description Sir," answered the lady. She reached out for something under the glass table and showed it to Alexander, "This came out just today Sir," she said.

Alexander picked up the box and looked at the bracelet closely. It was a simple silver bracelet with a small wishbone pendant. It looked really plain, but it gave out a sentimental vibe.

"May I know the meaning of this?" he asked the saleslady.

"This is called the 'Un Voeu', which means 'one wish'. A person who gives this bracelet to someone is basically granting her a wish that he or she must full fill in this lifetime. No matter what happens," the lady explained.

Alexander was instantly intrigued by the meaning of the bracelet, "I'll get this," he said as he handed the box back to the saleslady.

"Very well Sir, let me wrap it nicely for you."

After buying the bracelet, Alexander and Grey went to shop for some clothes for themselves to kill some time and went straight home after.

"You're home early, I'm not even dressed yet," Sabrina said as soon as Alexander and Grey arrived home.

"It's okay, take your time. I'll wait for you here," Alexander said as he slumped his body on the sofa. He searched for his pocket and brought out a small paper bag. It was the jewellery from earlier.

He was looking forward to this day. He wanted to do something for Sabrina today.

He had planned it a few days ago already but he just didn't have the chance to do it.

But now is a good opportunity.
