92 Resuming

The next day, everybody woke up very early to send Sabrina's family off.

"Make sure to call us often," Amanda told Sabrina.

"I will, don't worry," Sabrina answered.

"Alexander, Sabrina," said Javier, "Take care of each other okay?" he told them.

Alexander and Sabrina nodded.

"Make sure to finish everything early here so that the two of you can go back and get married, understood?" Grandpa George told them, "I still want to see my great grandchildren," he added which made Sabrina choke. She suddenly remembered what Alexander had told her the other day.

"Don't worry Grandpa, you'll meet them soon," Alexander chuckled.

Feeling her face heat up, "You guys should probably go now," Sabrin suddenly said awkwardly.

"You guys take care okay?" Javier told them.

Everybody hugged each other before Sabrina's family finally left.

"Let's go now Sab! We'll be late in the shooting," Kenzie reminded Sabrina.

Hearing what Kenzie said, Sabrina suddenly turned to Alexander and glared at him. She stomped her feet and turned around to leave.

"Huh? What's up with Sabrina?" Kenzie asked curiously.

"Ride with Grey, I'll drive Sabrina," Alexander said then ran after Sabrina immediately.

"You think they fought?" Kenzie asked Grey.

"Maybe?" Grey shrugged.

On their way to the location, Sabrina who had no choice but to ride with Alexander kept her mouth shut the entire time.

"What?" Alexander suddenly spoke, "Are you really that disappointed that I'm your leading man?" he asked.

Sabrina sighed, "It's not that," answered him, "I'm worried about myself," she said.

"I mean, why did you have to be my leading man? How do you expect me to act around you? You're too distracting for me!" Sabrina scolded him.

Alexander chuckled, "You're worried that my good looks might render you speechless?" he teased her.

Sabrina rolled her eyes at Alexander, "How conceited," she scoffed.

"What? I'm just telling the truth," Alexander defended himself.

"Whatever," Sabrina said.

Arriving at the shooting site, Sabrina left the car immediately and didn't bother to wait for Alexander. She greeted some staff and went straight to her artist tent immediately.

"Boss!" Kenzie shouted as soon as she spotted Alexander, "Where's Sabrina?" she asked when she noticed that Alexander was alone.

"Inside her artist tent," Alexander answered.

"I'll get to her then," Kenzie said, "Thank you for driving us here, get home safe," Kenzie bowed as a sign of thank you then left immediately to where Sabrina was.

"How does he expect me to act? I'm definitely going to have so many bad takes!" Sabrina spoke worriedly while her face was buried in her palms, "Ugh! What am I going to do?" she whined.

"Why are you talking to yourself?" Kenzie asked as soon as she entered the artist tent.

Sabrina suddenly jumped in shock, "You scared me!" she said while tapping her chest to calm herself down.

Kenzie chuckled, "Why are you having a monologue here?" she asked.

"N-nothing," Sabrina answered.

Kenzie just shrugged and walked towards Sabrina, "You should get your makeup done now, the shoot will start in an hour," she said. Kenzie clung her arm to Sabrina's, "I'm excited to see your new leading man! I wish he's more handsome than Kevin," she giggled.

"You bet, he is," Sabrina answered.

"You met him already?" Kenzie asked in surprise.

"Yeah," Sabrina responded, "Every day," she added.

Kenzie raised her brow, "Huh?" she asked in confusion.

"Never mind, you'll see him later," Sabrina said, "I'll go get my make-up done now," she tapped Kenzie's shoulder then walked towards the make-up artist to prepare.

"She's so weird" Kenzie said to herself.

Inside the tent beside Sabrina's, Alexander was also getting his make-up done.

"Sir, are you sure that you're okay?" Grey asked Alexander worriedly seeing how uncomfortable he was.

"I'm fine," Alexander answered.

Grey just silently chuckled.

He knew that one thing Alexander hated the most was his face being touched, but here he was, letting someone else apply make-up on his face. His hands were balled into a fist the whole time.

Today's agenda was to reshoot Hanna and Jaden's confession scene.

Feeling pressured, Sabrina kept on repeating her lines again and again to prevent embarrassing herself in front of Alexander.

Deep inside, Sabrina was really happy that Alexander will be her new lead, but she was also utterly worried about herself.

Working with someone you don't know is completely different than working with someone you completely know.

She was worried that she might get too self-conscious in front of Alexander and forget her lines.

Alexander has this charm that was very distracting, even to Sabrina. Looking at him, you can't just help it but feel giddy all over because of his handsomeness.

And that was why Sabrina was worried.

Alexander can render her speechless, even just by looking at him.

How was she supposed to act with him?

"I mean, does he even know how to act?!" Sabrina suddenly exclaimed which made both Kenzie and her make-up artist gasp in shock.

"You almost gave me a heart attack!" Kenzie vexed, "What's up with you?" she asked Sabrina.

"Sorry, sorry," Sabrina apologized, "I'm just nervous," she reasoned.

"Your makeup is all done," said the make-up artist.

"Thank you, you may take a break," Sabrina said then smiled at the artist.

As soon as the woman left the tent, Kenzie approached Sabrina immediately.

"Tell me, are you okay?" Kenzie asked, "You've been acting really really weird today," she added.

Sabrina turned to Kenzie, "If you were to act with your boyfriend, what would you feel?" she suddenly asked.

"Happy of course," Kenzie answered, "But kinda conscious at the same time," she added.

"That's what I'm saying!" Sabrina exclaimed.

Kenzie furrowed her forehead, "Seriously Sab, I can't understand you," she complained, "It's like you're talking to me using a different language," Kenzie said.

"I have something to tell you," Sabrina held her shoulders.

"What is it?" Kenzie asked.

"The male lead…" Sabrina started.

"What about the male lead?"

"He's Alex---"

"Baby?" A voice suddenly sounded behind them.

Sabrina closed her eyes. She didn't need to turn her head to guess who it was.

"Boss! You're still here! I thought you already left," Kenzie said. Then her expression suddenly changed. She narrowed her eyes and scanned Alexander from head to toe, "Why are you suddenly wearing ragged clothes?" she asked innocently.

Alexander didn't mind her, "Director Julian is already waiting for us," he said.

Sabrina sighed, "Yeah, I'll be there in a sec," she answered.

Alexander then, left the tent immediately.

As soon as he left, Kenzie turned to Sabrina, "Why is Boss wearing those clothes? Wasn't he wearing something different earlier?" she asked.

Sabrina tapped Kenzie's head lightly, "Think," she said then left her artist's tent.

Left alone inside, Kenzie scratched her head.

"Those two are acting really weird," she said. She just shrugged and started to tidy Sabrina's things.

While Kenzie was placing Sabrina's thing one by one in her bag, a thought suddenly popped in her mind.

'I'm excited to see your new leading man! I wish he's more handsome than Kevin!'

'You bet he is.'

'You met him already?'

'Yeah, every day.'

'If you were to act with your boyfriend, what would you feel?'

'Director Julian is already waiting for us.'

As soon as she realized, her eyes widened in surprise.

"Could it be…"

Kenzie ran out of the artist tent immediately and there she spotted Alexander and Sabrina throwing lines with each other.

"The male lead…"

"Is Sir Alexander," a voice suddenly said, "Yeah, I'm more surprised than you were when I first found out."

Suddenly Kenzie screamed loudly that it alarmed everybody on set.

Grey immediately placed his hand on Kenzie's mouth to shut her up, "Do you want to be kicked out of the set?" he scolded her.

"I'm sorry," Kenzie apologised, "I got too excited," she giggled.
