2 AM, PST.
"Sir, we're here," Grey tapped Alexander on his shoulder to wake him up.
Alexander rubbed his eyes and looked around. He realized that the plane had already landed.
"You take care of my things," Alexander instantly said. He stood up immediately and left the airport by himself. He hailed a cab to head home, leaving Grey all alone.
"Unbelievable," Grey said.
Alexander's mind was full of worry. He hasn't heard anything from Brandon yet as he was inside the plane, he didn't have any signal. All 15 hours inside the plane was a torture to him. He doesn't have any idea what happened to Sabrina.
"Can you drive faster?" Alexander scolded the cab driver, he was getting really impatient.
Alexander brought his phone out and dialed Sabrina's number, but nobody answered. He repeated it a few more times but he was being directed to the voicemail.
"Calm down Alex, Jacob won't hurt her," Alexander calmed himself, "They just talked," he added.
Arriving in front of his house, Alexander dished out some cash from his wallet and paid the driver without bothering for his change. He immediately ran upstairs to check on Sabrina.
Hearing a knock on her door, Sabrina was woken from her sleep once again.
"Just a second," Sabrina said sleepily, but the knock on the door was harsh. The bang was so loud that it irritated Sabrina.
She stood up from her bed irritably and walked towards the door with heavy steps.
"Can't you wait Kenzie!?" Sabrina vexed as soon as she opened the door, but upon seeing the person in front, her eyes immediately widened, "A-Alexander," she spoke in shock.
Alexander immediately wrapped his arms around Sabrina, "Thank God you're okay," he sighed in relief.
Sabrina's heart instantly raced, "Alex," she called him.
Alexander pulled away from the hug and held Sabrina's face, "I was worried about you," he said seriously, "Why weren't you answering my calls?" he asked.
"I was asleep. I'm sorry," Sabrina said apologetically.
Alexander's eyes suddenly fell on Sabrina's arm. There were noticeable marks on her arm that looked like someone gripped it tight. His gaze immediately darkened. He held her arm, "Did he do this?" Alexander spoke in gritted teeth.
Sabrina wanted to answer, but no voice came out her mouth. Alexander looked really intimidating right now. The look on his eyes frightened Sabrina a little.
"Did he do this?" Alexander asked once again with a slight raise on his tone.
Sabrina lowered her head apologetically, "I'm sorry," she apologized.
"What were you thinking!?" Alexander scolded her, "How can you go and talk to him alone? Have you forgotten what he did to you in the fire exit before?" he added.
Sabrina just remained silent. She didn't know how to respond to Alexander because he was right. She shouldn't have talked to him alone.
If Brandon didn't come to rescue her, who knows what Jacob could've done to her.
"Do you know how worried I was when Kenzie told me that you went alone to talk to him? What if he did something worse than forcefully kissing you huh?" Alexander spoke in frustration.
Sabrina suddenly teared up. She knew that Alexander was only acting like this because he was worried, but she can't help it but cry.
"I'm sorry baby, please don't cry," Alexander's voice turned gentle. He wiped her tears and hugged her, "I was just worried. I'm sorry if I raised my voice," he stoked Sabrina's hair gently and placed a kiss on her forehead.
"I just went to talk to him because he said he won't bother me anymore. I didn't expect that he'd suddenly act like that," she explained herself.
"Shhh, it's okay. I won't let him go near you again," Alexander comforted her. He pulled away from the hug then held Sabrina's chin and lifted her head up. He looked at her straight in the eyes and leaned forward to kiss her, "I missed you," he whispered.
Alexander wrapped his arm around Sabrina's waist and walked her inside the bedroom. He closed the door and pinned Sabrina to the wall.
"Alex," Sabrina whispered.
Alexander held her face and kissed her once again. Softly at first, and then with a swift gradation of intensity.
Feeling her legs go weak, Sabrina held Alexander's shirt tightly.
His insistent mouth was parting her lips, sending tremors along her nerves that brought her sensations she had never known she was capable of feeling.
While they kissed, Sabrina realized something.
Her feelings for Alexander isn't that simple anymore. The love she felt for this man grew even stronger as days passed by and it suddenly scared her.
The last time she felt something this intense, her world came crumbling down. It wasn't that long yet when she finally built herself again.
What if she ends up being hurt again? She, for sure, cannot take another huge blow.
Breaking the kiss, Alexander pulled away from Sabrina. He looked at her and smiled playfully, "How can you be this good at kissing?" he teased her.
Sabrina's face instantly turned red due to embarrassment, "I should be asking you that Mr. Alexander Grande. How do you know how to kiss when you've never been in a relationship?" she questioned him back.
"I guess I just have the talent for it?" he answered her which made Sabrina chuckle.
Alexander leaned forward and kissed Sabrina on the forehead, "Don't do anything like that again okay?" he said while looking straight in her eyes.
Sabrina nodded in response, "I promise," she said.
Alexander smiled, "I'm hungry, can you cook Coq au vin for me again? I'm craving," he asked.
"Sure," Sabrina nodded happily.
Both of them headed downstairs to the kitchen. Sabrina started to work immediately and Alexander just sat on the kitchen counter to watch her cook.
After a good 45 minutes, Sabrina was already done. She served the food and sat opposite to Alexander.
"I will never get enough of this," Alexander said as he stuffed his mouth with food.
"I'll make it for you anytime," Sabrina smiled. She enjoyed watching Alexander eat the food she cooked.
They both ate peacefully while they talked about things about themselves.
"Really? You have never been to Disneyland?" Sabrina asked him in surprise.
"Yeah, my dad didn't really pay much attention to me to take me to places like that," Alexander replied.
"Okay! It's set then! When I finish shooting my movie, you and I will go to Disneyland," Sabrina declared. After hearing stories of his past, she wanted to fill the gaps of Alexander's childhood. He didn't experience much as a kid.
Although he was old now, she still wanted to let him experience the childhood he didn't have.
"I'll write that down on my schedule then Ms. Walker," Alexander smiled
While they ate, Sabrina suddenly remembered something.
"Uhm Alex, I need to tell you something," she suddenly spoke seriously.
Alexander lifted his head up and looked at her, "What is it?" he asked.
"You remember that my family will visit us soon right?" Sabrina asked.
"Yeah what about it?" Alexander replied.
"Uhm… the thing is, they're not only going here to simply visit me," Sabrina fiddled her fingers.
"Okay? What are they going to do here then?" Alexander asked.
"They're going here to arrange our marriage."
Upon hearing what Sabrina said, Alexander suddenly coughed out the food from his mouth, "Really?" he asked Sabrina in surprise.
"I'm sorry! I should've told you sooner," Sabrina apologized.
Alexander felt his heart skip a beat. Marrying Sabrina was obviously, one of the things he wanted to do in this lifetime, but he still needed Sabrina's opinion of course.
If he was to decide, he'll marry her right away. He was already sure that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, but Sabrina's say on this matter was important.
He didn't want to rush her.
"What are we going to do then?" Alexander asked Sabrina.
