33 Mental Asylum

"Baby?" Alex waked Sabrina up. He rubbed her face using his thumb.

Sabrina slowly opened her eyes.

"Oh my gosh Sabrina! I'm glad you're okay!" Jessica rushed towards her and was about to hug her but Alexander stopped her.

"She's injured," he reminded her.

"I'm glad you're okay or else I don't know how I'll explain this to your dad," Director Walker sighed in relief.

"Jessica? Uncle? Kevin? Why are you all here?" Sabrina said and tried to sit down. Alexander immediately helped her and lifted her bed using a remote to make her comfortable.

"I'm here to let you meet the person who did this to you," she heard Alexander say.

Sabrina raised her brows upon hearing him, "What are you saying Alex?" she asked him, confused.

"I'm saying that inside this very room, is the suspect behind all of the killing attempts towards you," he said but Sabrina still didn't understand him.

"Do you remember the day your brakes were tampered?" he asked her and she nodded in response, "How about the barging in your hotel room?" he asked her.

"Of course! How can I forget about that? Kenzie nearly died!" she blurted.

"The man who was behind all of those is here with us," he told her.

Sabrina immediately scanned the whole room. There was her, Alexander, Jessica, her Uncle, Kevin and Brandon. She raised her brows towards Alexander, "That can't be Alexander, I know all these people, they won't hurt me," she told him.

"Oh really? Then let's play a little bit of Detective Conan here," he said then sat on the chair beside Samantha, "Think of me as Kudo Shinichi," he said then smiled.

"I don't understand you Alex, just get straight to the point!" Sabrina's tone rosed a bit. She can't understand anything he was saying!

Alexander brought out his phone and called his assistant, "Grey, the documents, bring them up now," he said then ended the call.

Just a few minutes later, a knock was heard from the door and there was Grey, holding a folder in his hands.

He walked towards Alexander and handed him the papers.

"Thank you Grey, go look after Kenzie now," Alexander said.

"Yes Sir," Grey excused himself and left the room immediately.

"Read this," Alexander opened the folder for Sabrina and handed it to her.

Using her free arm, Sabrina held the folder and read its contents, "Suicide Case of Kelly Jordan?" she asked and raised her brows on Alexander, "What does this have to do with me?" she asked him.

"Kelly Jordan, a rising Hollywood star. Just a month ago, her body was found inside her apartment, hanging on her ceiling. She committed suicide," Alex said.

"Kevin was the one who found her body actually. According to the report, her whole body was filled with bruises and wounds. She looked like she was beaten to death, and was hanged on the ceiling, but the policemen recorded it as a suicide case even though there are too many evidences that points that it was a murder," he added.

"It was murder okay!?" Kevin suddenly blurted out which made the people inside jump in shock except for Alexander.

Alexander showed his sinister smile then crossed his legs, "Enlighten us then Mr. Hush," he told him.

All of them looked at Kevin.

"Kelly was the love of my life, she was my everything," he started.

"Acting was her passion and Hollywood was her biggest dream. I was always there to support her, give her opportunities, help her get roles from the movies I acted in. It was all okay from the start, she was happy, but I didn't know that she was aiming for more," he said, his tone filled with pain and agony.

"Then the announcement for this film was made and I was immediately casted as the male lead. Kelly wanted the female role in the film. She asked me for help, to recommend her as the female lead. I did as told, I arranged a special audition just for her with Director Walker and the producers, but she didn't get in,"

"She was so disappointed that time, she threw a big tantrum when we got home. I tried my best to comfort her, but when I thought everything was already okay, a shocking news was delivered to me," a tear suddenly fell from his eye.

"Her manager told me that she had been sleeping with one of the producers of the movie to get the role. That night, when I confronted her, she broke up with me. I was lost that time, I loved her so much,"

"Then one day I received a news that she was beaten almost to death by some goons who barged into her apartment. Apparently, the goons were hired by the producer's wife to beat her to death for seducing her husband,"

"She stayed in the hospital for a few days but the news of her being a mistress suddenly broke out. It was the producer's wife who revealed it to the public. She was forced to go home because of embarrassment, she didn't want to stay in the hospital,"

"I was so broken hearted seeing her in that state," Kevin started to cry. Tears were flowing down from his eyes.

"One night, she cried to me and begged me to get her the female role in this movie. She said that it was the only way to revive her beloved career. And because I loved her so much, I did everything I can to help her. I drank with the producers almost everyday to kiss their ass and get to their good side," Kevin suddenly chuckled, "But who would've thought that my efforts will suddenly go to waste," he looked at Sabrina and smiled evilly.

"One day, an announcement broke out that the female lead for the movie was chosen and was chosen by the director personally," Kevin suddenly laughed loudly, making the people around him feel scared of him.

"A small time actress from Asia, suddenly picked as the female lead for a Hollywood movie," he continued to laugh.

"That night, when I got home, I saw her throwing things all around the room. She heard the news about you being chosen as the female lead. The next day she committed suicide," Kevin stood up and grabbed a gun from the back of his pants and aimed it at Sabrina.

Alexander immediately went in front of Sabrina to protect her.

"That day at the press conference, I hired a man from a skilled gang to tamper with your car, but who would've thought you'd survive? Then I hired another man to beat you up, but again! You f*ucking survived!" he shouted.

"Earlier at the shooting, when Jessica stepped out of her tent, I swapped her fake gun with a real one. But this bitch doesn't even know how to aim properly! Now I'm here to kill you personally,"

"You killed her Sabrina! If you didn't steal that role from her, she would still be alive!" Kevin shouted.

"But I am innocent Kevin! You know that!" Sabrina defended herself.

"Innocent? How Sabrina? You know how the industry works! Now tell me, who is the producer you slept with to get this role huh?" he questioned her.

"I got this role cleanly Kevin! I never slept with a producer!"

"Tell that to may hand! Who would believe your lies? You're nothing but a slut who uses her body to climb to the top! You killed the woman I love! You stole the role that was for her!"

"It's not my fault if your girlfriend failed to get this role Kevin, she didn't have the skills and I had it! She was too ambitious and it's nowhere my fault!" Sabrina defended herself.

"Put the gun down Kevin!" Jessica shouted.

Kevin faced her, "Why Jessica? Shouldn't you be happy that I'm avenging your bestfriend? And if she dies, you get the lead role. Isn't this in your favor?" Kevin answered her.

"What happened to Kelly has nothing to do with her Kevin and you know that! She's innocent Kevin!" Jessica rebutted.

"Look at you betraying your bestfriend, I think I should kill you first," he said then aimed the gun at Jessica but before he pulled the trigger, Alexander had already kicked his hand then grabbed him by the arm and threw him on the floor.

Kevin groaned in pain. He was about to get up but Alexander stepped on his chest and pinned him down.

"Let go of me!" Kevin shouted but Alexander just pressed him down harder.

"Is your brain damaged or you just don't have a brain in the first place?" Alexander mocked him.

"Your girlfriend's death was because of her stupidity, she was an ambitious braindead woman like you. She chose to kill herself and it was never Sabrina's fault," he told him.

"She killed her!"

"Wow, the truth is already before you but you still choose to think that?" Alexander told him mockingly.

Suddenly the door of the room opened and a few nurses entered.

"Good day we are from Atascadero State Hospital," one of the nurses said, "Where is the patient?" she asked.

"This one," Alexander pointed at the man under his foot.

Upon hearing what the nurse said, Kevin's eyes grew wide in fear. Atascadero State Hospital!?

"Let me go! I'm not crazy!" Kevin shouted.

"We'll take him already," said the nurse then brought out some cloth ropes.

The nurses walked closer to Kevin. Alexander removed his foot, but as soon as he let go, Kevin stood up and tried to run but was instantly shot by tranquilizer gun.

His body immediately fell down on the floor. Alexander bended down to whisper something on his ear before he sleep, "I will never let you go for what you did to Sabrina, suffer there all your life. I will make sure that you never go out," he said then showed him his sinister smile.

Atascadero State Hospital was a known mental asylum in Los Angeles. They take in mentally ill people who were all murderers. Atascadero was also popular for being one of the most scariest place in all of LA. Screams, laughs, and cries from people there always surrounded the place, making anyone run away in fear.

Alexander was too sinister to send him there. He wanted him to suffer all his life inside that asylum, until he himself gets crazy together with the people in the facility.

He'll make sure that he rots in that place. Kevin went overboard with Sabrina, he will never forgive him.
