Girl Talk

After dealing with his business in the country, Alexander didn't wait any longer and went back to LA. He wanted to see Sabrina already.

Inside the plane, "Grey I want you to make a full background check on Sabrina's co-artists and the director of their film, I need to confirm something, I need it ASAP," Alexander instructed Grey.

Not having any option, "I'll have it done immediately Sir," Grey replied and heaved a heavy sigh.

When will I get to rest from this paper works?

On the other hand, Sabrina and Kenzie were having a girl talk inside the hospital room.

"Really? He did that to you?" Kenzie asked with so much excitement.

"Yeah, my jaw literally dropped when he told me that he talked to my dad,"

"So it means that you guys are like engaged now?" Kenzie wiggled her brows.

"I don't know, Alexander told me that he was a 'potential son-in-law'," Sabrina said while making a quotation gesture to emphasize the words, "But my dad is acting like he was already the son-in-law! Did you know that my dad already approved of us living together?" she said, her tone filled with disbelief.

"What!? Living together!?" Kenzie blurted out of surprise.

"Yeah, our stuff was already moved to Alexander's mansion," Sabrina pinched the space between her eyebrows. She remembered the time where Alexander called her dad and he gave her openly to him.

Is he really my dad?

"OMG! I can't process everything yet, this is too much information!" Kenzie's loud wails surrounded the room. Then she suddenly looked at Sabrina, "But do you like him already Sab?" she asked her seriously.

"I don't know Kenzie, I'm confused," she answered honestly and it was the truth.

"What do you mean you're confused?"

"I mean, Alexander and I just met a few days ago, like I barely know the guy! What do I know about him? All I know is that he's a person of high status, that's all, period. I don't even know a single thing about his personal life," she said emphasizing her words.

"Then open up to him! There's no other way to know him other than talking to him," Kenzie rolled her eyes on Sabrina.

"But then again, my mind kept on thinking about him. Everytime he's near me, my breathing becomes abnormal, my heart can't calm down, and my brain can't function well. You know that feeling?" she expressed her thoughts.

"Then you like him," she heard Kenzie say.

"But isn't it too early to say that I like him?"

"What early? There's no such thing as 'too early' Sabrina. When you like the person, you like the person and that's on period,"

Sabrina then, scratched her head, frustrated, "Ugh! I don't know, I'm scared," she placed her hands on the back of her neck.

"What are you scared of?"

"You know my past Kenzie, what if he ends up leaving me too? What if I let myself fall again then end up being broken again? What if I don't match him? I don't know Kenz, I have too many what if's going on inside my brain," Sabrina said in a frustrated manner.

She felt a hand pat her back, "What if's can't be avoided in a relationship Sabby. If we love, we gamble. We may end up being the winner or the loser, but what's important is trying. What if you don't gamble now and end up living a life of regret because of your what if's?" Kenzie said seriously.

Sabrina fell into a deep thought, "Do you think I should give it a try?" she asked Kenzie.

"In my honest opinion yes, but of course the decision still goes to you. Just make sure that whatever choice you make, there will be no room for regret,"

"Excuse me Kenzie since when did you become a love guru?" Sabrina chuckled.

"Well you asked for it!" both Kenzie and Sabrina laughed.

The two ladies continued to chat and have a good time.

"Hey let me down!" the paparazzi protested, but he was dragged inside the hospital room.

Kenzie and Sabrina both jumped in shock due to the sudden intrusion.

"Brandon?" asked Sabrina.

"Uh, Brandon who?" asked Kenzie who looked confused.

"Oh he's a bodyguard Alex sent to watch over us," she explained and Kenzie nodded in response.

"Do you know this person Ma'am?" Brandon placed the paparazzi down, "I saw him snooping around and eavesdropping at your door," he reported.

Both Kenzie and Sabrina looked at the man. Their eyes scanning, looking if they knew him. Then suddenly Kenzie gasped in surprise.

"The reporter! The one who wants to slander you!" she pointed the man.

Sabrina who just recognized him, "You're right! It's him!" she said then pointed the man, "What the heck are you doing here?" she questioned the paparazzi.

Then at the right moment Alexander arrived with Grey following behind him, "What is happening here Brandon?" he asked.

"Sir I found this man outside their room, he was eavesdropping," the bodyguard answered.

"I wasn't eavesdropping!" the reporter defended himself.

"Do you know this man Sabrina?" Alexander asked.

"Yes, he's a reporter my CEO hired to try and defame me," Sabrina answered.

Alexander turned to face the reporter, "Why are you eavesdropping?" he asked him seriously.

The reporter instantly sweated bullets, "I wasn't.. eavesdropping CEO Grande! I-I was j-just passing by!" he answered, stuttering.

"Passing by?" Alexander walked towards him then grabbed his arm and twisted it, "I hate liars," he whispered near his ear.

The man screamed in pain, "Yes! Yes! I was eavesdropping! I was! Please let me go," he cried.

"What did you hear from them?" Alexander twisted his arm further which made him groan in pain.

"My phone! It's all on my phone! Please it hurts!"

Alex let go of his arm, "Give me your phone," he said.

Trembling, the reporter searched his pocket for his phone and immediately handed it to Alexander, "There's a recording of their whole conversation," he said.

Alex pressed the play button on the screen. Kenzie and Sabrina's voices were heard on the phone.

They were talking and laughing with each other.

Realizing what it contains, Sabrina's facial expression changed. She suddenly rushed towards Alexander and tried to snatch the phone from Alexander's hand, but Alexander who had fast reflexes immediately held the phone high.

"It doesn't contain anything important! Just delete it!" she said while trying to reach the phone from his hands.

"But we haven't heard it all yet, what if there's something here?" he raised his brows on her.

"There's nothing really!" she still tried and reach the phone from his hands.

Why is this man so tall!?

Alexander who was blocking Sabrina, pressed some things on the phone, then he brought it down, "Fine if you say so, here delete it yourself," he handed the phone to Sabrina.

Upon receiving the the phone, she immediately pressed the delete button. Sabrina sighed in relief, she felt like a big burden was lifted off her shoulders.

"But then again, my mind kept on thinking about him. Everytime he's near me, my breathing becomes abnormal, my heart can't calm down, and my brain can't function well. You know that feeling?"

CAN I CURSE?

Sabrina turned around and saw Alexander holding his phone near his ears and he was smiling, "Didn't know I had that effect on you Ms. Sabrina," he told her while smiling at her playfully.

Sabrina's face suddenly heated up.

How the heck did he have a copy of the recording!?

Out of embarassment, she ran out of the room holding her cheeks.

"Brandon, Grey, you watch this man, don't let him go," Alexander instructed them, walked out to follow Sabrina.

What a great start of his day!
