Loving an idol who loves to make my life hell

“‘The first fan of yours I will meet, I will make them like C-LAND instead!’ Hwa shouted, raising the glass. Lucy got a call to translate another official document for an upcoming trial, and it was shit. Usually. She would have tied it up, stamped it, and officially signed. Now she had no stamps, the official tie, and anything that could be done with. So Lucy had to translate it, send it to her boss together with the proof of official translation, and wait till the approval, her boss would then package it officially and send it to court.

It needed to be done, yesterday was too late.

She lowered her phone and sighed. Before driving off from the agency, Lucy put the phone on the holder and almost shit herself as her lock screen was changed.

Hwa was smiling at her from the lock screen, sending her finger heart. That explained the ringtone by C-land. Lucy thought she went crazy before.

"I'm going to kill him," Lucy changed it back to a photo of Haku, together with the home screen where a group photo of C-land was to a group photo of Gochu.

That was why Lucy, when finishing her work in the MSW entertainment, went immediately back home and barricaded herself, translating. She put her headset on and turned on the laptop all ready.

She almost shit herself when the wallpaper on her lock screen was changed. The side profile of Seonghwa from their latest photoshoot that she just witnessed today was plastered there.

"Are you kidding me?" she exclaimed quickly and tried to put in her password. But it wasn't right. Panicking Lucy looked at the hint.

"Your most favorite member of C-land. Next time don't use your bias name ;)" That was written there and made Lucy almost buy a gun and kill Hwa.

"What about my fucking privacy," she mumbled, thinking about how he got to her laptop. But then she remembered giving all her things to Manager Kang.

"Traitor," she mumbled and put in Seonghwa's name. It took her three tries to input the right combination and was greeted by his smiling selca, sending her a kiss. Lucy immediately closed the laptop with a slam and got up, splashing some water on her face.

On the second try, she changed her wallpapers and calmed down again thinking about how to strike back. Well, at least up until she started translating. After that, her mind was completely occupied by thinking about words and translations.

"What the hell is this song? I don't know that one…" Lucy mumbled and looked at her playlist on Spotify. It belonged to C-land. And she was sure she didn't put it there. But pressured by the deadline she didn't bother with it. The song was good, the lyrics were meaningful and she shouldn't banish the entire group just because of Hwa.

Lucy finished the translation at half-past five in the morning, exhausted, hungry, and overall dead. Many times C-land popped up in her playlist and she didn't mind.

It was definitely Seonghwa who put the songs there. But they were really nice and the more she listened to them the more she liked them. In the end, she played almost all the albums they made in recent years.

And she even found some of her new favorite ones.

Another thing she had to admit was how amazing Seonghwa's voice was. It was low, making her skin get goosebumps, but it fitted perfectly with others. But that didn't mean he couldn't go higher. Even there he was perfectly comfortable.

As soon as Lucy lay down, she fell asleep.

But was awoken pretty soon by her alarm. Forgetting whether she had to be somewhere or not, Lucy turned it off. Just to be woken up ten minutes later.

It usually was like that, she put multiple alarms so she would wake up. But Lucy really couldn't remember she should be somewhere. Not this early in the morning.

After four more ten-minutes alarms, Lucy angrily looked into the smartphone and almost threw it against the wall. Only the thought that it did nothing wrong saved it.

Seonghwa put alarms, with his songs as one, every ten fucking minutes for four hours in the morning and three hours during the afternoon. She deleted all of them and put only one that she needed before going to the agency for more lessons in the evening.

Then, the delivery man rang the door and gave her the package she expected. The one that Lili helped her with. And her mood was better again when she had the means of retaliating.

It was actually pretty fun. Lucy never knew she was so petty but pranking Seonghwa back was a bit of comfort for her. She was here alone in a foreign country working on something she never wanted to do, basically against her will. So the pranks were a nice distraction. Distraction from her lonely life here.

Lucy was really

But she couldn't fall asleep. Only after she took her sleeping pills. Thankfully, she had enough and a prescription from the doctor. So at the airport, she was able to bring it in. The meds kicked in fifteen minutes. Just when Lucy was thinking about how the hell she got her working visa when she signed the contract after he arrived in Korea.

Her sleep was as good as Zolpidem promised her. She fell asleep quickly and didn't wake up as she usually did.

Lucy had an irregular sleeping schedule. So sometimes her insomnia was acting up and she either couldn't fall asleep just like today, staring in the dark, or light, depending on when she was falling asleep, or she fell asleep and then woke up every twenty minutes.

Only in the later evening when Lucy was almost awake was her mind pretty occupied with dreaming. As the colorful shape formed a figure in her head, no face. Just a body with glistening water on it as if it was made from diamonds. Or was it glitter? Lucy didn't know, she woke up before the body came closer to her. But she knew it was water and that the body was quite similar to Hwa's. Thankfully, she forgot it as soon as she got up from the couch.
