Hair dryer

"Does he blow his hair with a hair dryer after showering?" Lucy asked Hyunjun in the KakaoTalk and chuckled entering Hwa's house again.

Today they were supposed to have a festival concert. It was actually amazing for her to be invited backstage, but she had to have her revenge first.

When he made her not sleep, she would make him sleep. Lucy took one of her pills. Only half, knowing it was safe and at home, she crushed it to dust and put it into her tumbler with water. If he took her things, he would fall asleep for once. If he didn't care, he wouldn't have a problem.

"He does, but please don't do anything crazy," Hyunjun pleaded, and Lucy laughed. While imagining the bags of fine glitter in her bag.

"I'm just annoying him as much as he does me." Lucy's reply was normal. Jaemin actually told her once that to him it was interesting she even reciprocate Hwa's pranks. As if they were normal people. Yes, they weren't as popular as other singers, especially American, but they had their fanbase and steadily worked themselves to the level of past superstars such as BTS.

Yet, she didn't care.

Well, for Lucy it wasn't that she didn't care, but at some point, her patience would crumble and the best defense for her was to attack. It was similar to when someone belittled or degraded her. She was conscious of her appearance, so masking her insecurities with narcissistic tendencies sounded like a good defense.

She placed the tumbler on the table and went to shower. She put some of the glitters on the towels in the bathroom. A lot of it was put into the hair dryer. And some of the finest body glitters were placed on the hairbrush.

The rest of the bags were carefully dumped in an elaborate custom-made bomb. Well, it was a kusudama confetti ball, but instead of confetti and a banner, the glitter was inside. The only thing she needed was to place it above some doors and tie it on the handle. Success was given.

"He is going up, hide," Hyunjun wrote, and Lucy started to panic. She had no idea where to go. Totally fucked up, she hid behind the sofa. And only heard Hwa getting inside and closing one door. The same door, or at least the same distance door, opened again, and then another a bit closer opened and closed.

Lucy didn't even allow herself to breathe. Only when she heard the shower running, she breathed out. Her panicking mode subsided and her mind had already formed a plan for her revenge.

Lucy silently grabbed a chair and put it in front of the bathroom door. The moldable glue held the kusudama on the wall and the glue was held on the wall by really strong tape. Three layers of it. That was the most strenuous task. Use tape without making noise. Or at least loud noise, the shower stopped when Lucy was tying down the string on the handle. And she almost tripped over the chair, forgetting about it.

The door to the flat opened again, and Lucy heard the manager's voice from the hall.

"Hwa, quickly we're late! Let the hairdresser do the rest, blow it quickly." He came inside, his mouth gaping at the crouching Lucy because she was just about to get behind the couch again. She wildly gestured towards him to be quiet, but it didn't help.

"What are you doing now?" he hissed at her and stopped when the shower stopped too. Lucy thought about whether Hwa's mirror was full of fog, because nothing could be heard from the room, and then the hair blower made a sudden sound.

"What the fuck!" Hwa shouted from the bathroom, so loud he could be heard over the hairdryer, and added a few more remarks about the intelligence of the person who did it.

Lucy winced and giggled. The manager quickly ran to the bathroom but noticed the ball above the door, but it was too late. The door slammed open. So quickly that the glitter cloud sprayed both the manager and Hwa, together with the triggered hair spray and more body glitter spray.

The silence was so loud that Lucy tiptoed out of the living room and crouched.

"You stay!" The command was so… cold and direct that Lucy froze mid-step.

"On a couch and sit! Wait for us to get back!" If it was Seonghwa, Lucy wouldn't listen, but it was manager Kang who said it. Lucy turned on her heel and sat on the couch, not making a sound. Though in her mind, she was giggling. It was actually hard for her to keep a straight face, so she tried to appear guilty.

It was a sight that he would never forget. Most of the glitters were the finest body-safe glitters she found on the internet. The one in the hair dryer was more like sparkling dust because it could be used as a highlighter. So, Hwa's face was now really shiny, together with part of his hair. Lucy had no idea how he achieved that. The rest of the glitters were all over his body. She could see it, because he had only a towel around his waist again, so his hair and body and face were all glistening.

To Lucy's disappointment, it actually made him look… tasty… hot… and interesting. The fans would love it. And she was sure of it. That was something that made her lose her satisfactory feeling.

"Hop into the shower again, take some of it down. You have three minutes," the manager said and Lucy bit her lip.

"It's actually waterproof… You need oil to get it down. But it's body-safe. Actually specifically made for body and face…" she mumbled so they would hear it. And they did because the silence was even louder now.

"Put on your clothes. And let's go," the manager said, sounding pretty much resignedly. Lucy bit her lower lip once again, trying to appear guilty.

"You! Clean this all up before we are back! And have a talk…" Hwa pointed all around him and sounded half pissed, half amused.

But they really left. Leaving her there just like that.
