Chapter 12
Cindy came back to Morgan's mansion late in the evening, she saw the house looking so Quiet she didn't see anyone or the maids working in the house she got scared and the house look so quiet she wonder if this is a dream or reality.
She heard a weird sound by her left side and everywhere is so dark that she had to use her phone flashlight to see. suddenly something made her terrified.
She saw a scary face that made her scream. She was screaming and running and surprisingly the light was on everywhere and she could see many faces laughing at her especially Edward who's lying on the floor laughing his heart out.
Cindy was angry at Edward only because she knew this must have been Edward idea.
He came closer to her telling her happy new year it a new year new month, Morgans family are celebrating a new year's Even and to someone dear to them like Cindy.
Mrs Elizabeth came towards Cindy and hold her hands...." Cindy I want you to be a part of our family, you're such a nice person and you made my son smile again unlike in the past he hates women and also hates me his mom, but now am really grateful to you"
"Thank you madam"
"When you went to your parents for a weekend he confesses to me that he loves you and he misses you just for this two days you left us we felt as if you've gone somewhere faraway from us"
"Madam I don't know if I deserve Edward but...
" shush, Cindy you deserve my son and he deserves you, and you're free to call me Mom or whatever except madam"
"Alright Mom"
"Okay go freshen up so that we can celebrate the new year's Eve"
Cindy left to her room and saw Edward from a far coming out of his room, she frowns and he ran quickly and stop her from entering her room.
"that was a good one " he laughs", I don't know you were scared of the dark, you face shows a scary expression, I love that"
"Edward this is not funny, you're happy that I was scared, any ways it not your fault I don't blame you I blame my self for scaring you the other day but at least at the end I made you laugh right?"
" yeah you did made me laugh and I'm grateful for that"
He came closer to Cindy and hugged her, she pushed him and he came closer for the second time he holds her tightly and kissed her she was pushing him but his stronger than her, this time she couldn't stop him. After some seconds he let go and apologized for what he just did earlier and Cindy couldn't say anything but laugh when she saw his mouth spoiled with her red lipstick
"Are you okay" he uttered in surprise touching her face.
"Go watch yourself in the mirror you will realize why I'm laughing"
He was surprised by her laughing, he thought, she will be angry, at most even slap him but she didn't. Instead she laughed at his face spoiled with her lipstick. He came closer to her.. "Cindy I know I have done bad to you in the past please forgive me"
"Stop saying that, I have already forgiven you long time ago, I know it not your fault. If am in your shoe I will have done the same thing"
"Cindy I don't know what have came into me. Since the day I left for overseas I couldn't stop thinking of you, I felt guilty of what I have done to you. Thinking that you won't forgive me, but you're such a good person"
"Edward you're also a good person, is just that you didn't realize it at first but now you knew that"
"Cindy I can't control myself since the day I started having feeling for you, Cindy I love you, and am scared of you not loving me back. This days I show my concern for you but you don't seems to show that you like me and that make me so worried and frustrated"
"I know you love me since the day you came back from paris, I can see it in your eyes that day. You changed to someone caring and loving, the reason why I don't show concern to the things you are doing is because I don't want to fall deep in love with you at the end become heart broken that's why am hesitating, but I love you too with all my heart Edward I will like to spend the rest of my life with you"
Edward hug Cindy telling her that... I was scared that you won't love me back, but I was wrong, and am glad you love me back. Sweetheart I love you with all my being"
Cindy hugged him tightly...."I love you too with all my heart"
Jessica came to check on Cindy if she's done freshing up, but what she saw made her mouth wide open..."Oh am sorry for interrupting I should get going"
"Jessica wait" Cindy uttered.
And Edward left to the living room while Jessica and Cindy went inside the room.
"Lovey doveys I can see that my brother has gotten a space in your heart finally, am happy to see that you people are progressing in your relationship, before you people are slow but now it progressing"
"Ahww stop teasing me, let me go freshen up, you can go I will catch up with you in a bit"
"Don't forget to put on a beautiful hot sexy dress, I know when my bro sees it he will melt like an ice cream stairing at you"
"Jessica you really want to kill me with your words, don't worry I will wear a descent dress okay?"
"Am talking about a sexy dress!!"
"To me it sound like a descent dresser"

After she's done freshing up she rub the body lotion Jessica bought her and did a simple make up spraying strawberry perfume all over her body, recalling what Jessica told her that she should wear a sexy dress, so she wore a pitch floral dress, the back is opened having lines of rope at the back exposing her legs a bit. She has her hair in a bum and she looks splendid and beautiful.
When she came in to the big and large living room occupied by guest and everyone, Edward saw her from a far and can't set his eyes away from her, she looks more beautiful than before.
Edward Quickly went to her side and said to her...." Shall we dance, which one of the dance do you prefer"
"I don't know any kind of dance, you can suggest any"
"Alright let dance Rumba dance"
"What Rumba dance?"
" Rumba is romantically dance mainly because of what it replaces - the old sway side to side slow dance. The one you did in high school, the one you had to stand and watch that time you were in a wedding party, the Rumba levels up your slow dancing game"
"Oh is that it, but I don't know how to"
"I will teach you how to"
Mrs Elizabeth came towards them..."cindy you look so beautiful in this outfit"
"Thank you mom I really appreciate"
"Alexia come here with the cocktail drinks give it to them"
The maid called Alexia came with the cocktail and serve it to Cindy and Edward.
"Alright dear enjoy the party to your fullest, and you Edward don't you dare tease cindy, if he does that to you my dear please let me know okay?"
"Yes Mom i will"
"Alright enjoy your selves"
Edward hold Cindy's hand..."shall we?"
"Yes"
Edward and cindy are enjoying their selves every step he takes he shows her how to and she learns it fast, cindy is a fast learner she learns and understands Quickly
Edward saw Jessica from a far dancing with loneliness, she smiles but you can see it in her smile that something is incomplete.
"Cindy give me a moments I want to make a call I will be back in a jiff"
"Okay no problem"
Edward call his friend Kingsley, he invited him for their new year party, and Kingsley didn't hesitate to accept the invitation....."Alright that was a good catch cos I wasn't doing anything specifically am just watching a movie, I will be there as soon as possible"
"Okay then till you come"
Edward went to his sister and whispered to her....."your man is coming"
"What! Did you call him?"
"Yeah I can see that you're bored"
"I! Iiiiiiiiy!! Am not bored can't you see am smiling"
"You're a bad lier"
"Am not bro"
"Just wait for your man he will soon be here"
Edward went back to his cindy and they continued dancing
After some moments kingsley came and Jessica saw him, she can't hide her happiness in seeing him looking handsome in his suite, he exchange greetings with Edward and cindy. Edward direct him towards Jessica and their mom.
He exchange greetings with her mom and say hello to Jessica. They had a chit chat and dance together. Now Jessica is so happy unlike before she seems bored
The four enjoyed their self having a toast of wine on the royal dinning. Mrs Elizabeth complemented their dance and everyone was delighted.
