23 Chapter 23

~AUGUST 20 ; YOONGI'S HOTEL ROOM~

After a few months, BTS is having some conversation with each other in Yoongi's hotel room while they're in Paris. Meanwhile, Suyeon and Yeonae are visiting different stores.

"Did you guys already see this?"

Namjoon asked as he shows his phone to the six with a worried expression in his face.

"I hope Yeonae doesn't see this."

Jungkook said worriedly as he looks at Namjoon's phone.

"It's impossible for Yeonae not to see this."

Said Yoongi as he looks at Namjoon's phone with his usual poker face.

"Ya! You're being pessimistic about this!"

Yelled Seokjin to Yoongi as his face turns red.

"It's the truth though."

Replied Yoongi to Seokjin as he crosses his arms and looks at him.

"In times like this we must comfort Yeonae. She needs us to be her strength. Her friends aren't here to comfort her, we can be their replacement at the meantime."

Said Namjoon to them.

"Replacement?"

Asked Taehyung to Namjoon confusedly as he looks at him.

"We're not just replacement to Yeonae's friends when they're not with her, Namjoon! We're a part of her second family!"

Yelled Seokjin furiously to Namjoon as his faces turns red while glaring at him.

"Did you already forget about that, Namjoon hyeong (older guy/brother *male to male*)?"

Asked Jimin to Namjoon as he looks at him with teary eyes.

"Forget that I've said that. The important thing is that we must be by Yeonae's side when she discovers about this. We'll be each other's Polaris in times like this."

Answered Namjoon to Jimin's question.

"4,000 views, 990 likes, 2k dislikes and many hate comments. Yeah. This could hurt Yeonae's feelings very much."

Said Yoongi as he looks at Namjoon's phone once again.

Yelled Seokjin to Yoongi furiously, too.

"And she's too young for the darkness to conquer her heart and mind."

Said Yoongi while staring at the bed with a gloomy expression on his face.

"But why would they dislike Yeonae's voice? I mean her voice is so angelic that it's so soothing to listen to."

Asked Jungkook to them puzzled.

"People always find something that is wrong about someone just to entertain themselves, Jungkook."

Answered Namjoon to Jungkook's question with a sad tone.

"People become crueler because of the internet."

Added Yoongi emotionless to what Namjoon said to Jungkook.

"But why would they do that?"

Asked Jimin sounding hurt on Yeonae's behalf.

"Because most people want to bring down someone who they think is higher than them."

Answered Namjoon to Jimin's question as he looks at him with a gloomy expression in his face.

"That's just cruel."

Said Taehyung as his eyebrows narrows and pouts his lips.

"The world is cruel, Taehyung. That is why most people become one. People who still have kind hearts are the lucky ones. Just like us. We're still able to stay human because we have each other. We're lucky that we still aren't becoming one of the monsters in this world."

Replied Yoongi to Taehyung as he looks at him.

"I want Yeonae to be one of the lucky humans, too."

Said Jungkook sadly as he pouts his lips and play with the bedsheet.

"Us, too, Jungkook. Us, too."

Replied Hoseok to Jungkook as he caresses Jungkook's back to calm him down.

"But what should we tell Yeonae once she finds out?"

Asked Jimin to them anxiously as he looks at each of them with a worried look on his face.

"Just let her cry when she cries. We'll be her guide to achieve her dream."

Answered Namjoon to Jimin's question.

"Can you guys tell me why do we have to have this conversation in my hotel room?"

Asked Yoongi to them all of a sudden as he looks at them with confusion.

"Because Yeonae doesn't have the courage to disturb you in your hotel room."

Answered Seokjin to Yoongi's question.

"That's why."

Added Hoseok to what Seokjin said earlier.

"Okay. I can't argue with that."

Replied Yoongi as he stood up from his bed, get the bag of chip on the desk and then goes back to the bed to sit once again.

"Does Yeonae often visit you guys in your hotel rooms or is it just me and Taehyung hyeong (older guy/brother *male to male*)?"

Asked Jungkook to them with a curious expression on his face.

"Yeonae often visit you guys in your hotel room?"

Asked Hoseok to both Taehyung and Jungkook shockingly.

"Ne (Yes). Wae (Why)?"

Asked Taehyung to them after he answered Hoseok's question.

"Unfair! Why does she often visit you guys and not me!?"

Asked Seokjin to them furiously as his face turns red again.

"Because Yeonae's age and mine are close and Taehyung hyeong's (older guy/brother *male to male*) way of interaction with her is just like her age."

Answered Jungkook to Seokjin's question confidently.

"Still unfair!"

Replied Seokjin to Jungkook as his face turns red even more than before.

"You know what, let's just ask her ourselves."

Said Namjoon as he grabs his phone and dials Yeonae's phone number.

"Great idea!"

Said all of them except for Yoongi who is busy eating his chips while watching them.

"Yeonae~"

Called Namjoon to Yeonae excitedly as soon as she answers his call.

"What is it Namjoon oppa (older guy/brother *female to male*)? Is there any problem?"

Asked Yeonae to Namjoon curiously from the other line of the call.

"Nothing. It's just that... is it true that you often visit Taehyung and Jungkook in their hotel rooms than us?"

Asked Namjoon to Yeonae curiously, too as he looks at his other band members who's looking right back at him.

"Ne (Yes). Wae (Why)?"

Asked Yeonae confusedly after she answered Namjoon's question.

"That's just unfair! UNFAIR! U-N-F-A-I-R!"

Yelled Seokjin to Yeonae furiously as his face turns even more red that he almost looks like a tomato.

"Mian hamnida (I'm sorry)! Sorry if I made you oppas (older guy/brother *female to male*) feel like that. It's just that whenever I tried to visit you, Suyeon eonni (older girl/sister *female to female*) tells me that you guys are busy. That is why I often visit Taehyung oppa and Jungkook oppa (older guy/brother *female to male*) because whenever I visit them, they're not busy."

Stutters Namjoon as he apologizes to Suyeon nervously. And then the call ended.

"I bet Suyeon nuna (older girl/sister *male to female*) ended the call."

Said Taehyung to while looking at them and pointing at Namjoon's phone.

"I thought so, too."

Replied Namjoon to Taehyung as he looks at his phone and then place it on the bedside table.

"I wish Yeonae won't see it today."

Said Jimin anxiously to them.

"She won't. She's with Suyeon nuna (older girl/sister *male to female*), remember?"

Replied Yoongi to Jimin as he touches Jimin's shoulder, trying to calm him down.

"Yeah, Yoongi hyeong (older guy/brother *male to female*) is right."

Said Hoseok to them as he sits up straight on the bed.

"But I still wonder when she will discover it."

Said Taehyung as he touches his chin, looks up at the ceiling and then started wondering.

"Geumanhae (Stop it), Taehyung."

Said Seokjin to make Taehyung stop from wondering when will Yeonae find it out.

"Let's just call Jaeho."

Said Jungkook so suddenly as he grabs his phone and dials Jaeho's phone number.

"Nugu (Who)...?"

Asked Jaeho as soon as he answers the call from Jungkook.

"Jaeho~"

Called Hoseok to Jaeho happily as he leans on Jungkook.

"Mwo (What)?"

Asked Jaeho once again clueless to them from the other line of the call.

"It's us! BTS!"

Answered Taehyung to Jaeho's question joyfully as he touches Jungkook's hand that is holding Jungkook's phone.

"Hyeongs (older guys/brothers *male to male*)!"

Called Jaeho to all of them excitedly and then he suddenly yawns.

"Did we... wake you up?"

Asked Jungkook to Jaeho feeling a little bit guilty for calling him in the middle of the night in Korea.

"Mwo (What)? Ani (No), ani (no). Not at all."

Answered Jaeho to Jungkook's question as his voice is slowly lowering and then he yawns again after finishing his sentence.

"You just wake him up."

Said Yoongi to all of them as he continued eating his bag of chips while watching them.

"Sorry to bother you but..."

Said Namjoon but hesitates to finish his sentence.

"Did you guys already saw it?"

Asked Yoongi to Jaeho directly and without any hesitations.

"Saw what?"

Asked back Jaeho to Yoongi confusedly from the other line of the call.

"Those 2k dislikes and many hate comments."

Answered Yoongi to Jaeho's question straight forwardly.

"Jin-jja (Really)? We haven't seen it yet. But is Yeonae okay? Is she doing fine? Did she see it already?"

Asked Jaeho to them continuously, being worried for Yeonae.

"Yeonae's okay and she's doing fine."

Answered Jimin to Jaeho's question softly as he smiles at Jungkook's phone.

"And no, she hasn't seen it yet."

Added Seokjin to what Jimin answered to Jaeho's question.

"I really really really want to be there at Yeonae's side whenever she finds it out. But I'm pretty sure that my abeoji (father) won't let me go to a different country."

Replied Jaeho to all of them sadly and then he yawns once again.

"Is that so? Then can you write a poem for Yeonae?"

Asked Hoseok to Jaeho enthusiastically as he leans over to Jungkook once again.

"I haven't written any poem but... I'll do my best."

Answered Jaeho to Hoseok's question enthusiastically, too.

"Gamsahabnida (Thank you), Jaeho. Sleep well."

Thanked Jungkook to Jaeho happily.

"Josimhaeyo (Take care)~"

Said Jaeho to all of them and the call ended.

••Few Minutes Later••

"That was... fast?"

Said Taehyung as the notification bell in Jungkook's phone rang.

"Let's read it."

Said Jungkook to them excitedly while smiling at them.

"Now, don't you dare Jungkook!"

Shout Namjoon to Jungkook furiously as he points his index finger at him and glares at him.

"Wae (Why)?"

Asked Jungkook to Namjoon as he looks at him confusedly while holding his phone.

"It's just for Yeonae."

Answered Seokjin to Jungkook's question as he places his hands on his waist and glares at Jungkook.

"But it won't hurt anyone if we read it."

Said Jungkook to them as he unlocks his phone.

"Still no."

Replied Yoongi to Jungkook emphasizing the 'no'. Jungkook locks his phone, place it on the bed, crossed his arms and then pouts at them.

"You know what? Let's just make letters for Yeonae. Hand written letters."

Said Taehyung to them as he stood up, get a piece of paper and a pen and then started writing a letter for Yeonae.

"That's a wonderful idea!"

Said Jimin as he gets a piece of paper and a pen and then started writing his letter for Yeonae, too. And the rest follows.

"Yeonae~ Why did you call?"

Asked Namjoon to Yeonae as soon as he answers Yeonae's call.

"I have gifts for the seven of you as a thank you for your help and support for me."

Answered Yeonae excitedly to Namjoon from the other line of the call.

"Jin-jja (Really)? You shouldn't have."

Replied Jimin to Yeonae shyly as his cheeks turns red.

"But I wanted to~"

Said Yeonae sounding like a kid asking for something from the other line of the call, making them aw.

"Okay, okay."

Replied Namjoon to Yeonae while smiling.

"Where are you guys?"

Asked Yeonae to them all of a sudden from the other side of the call.

"Where are we? Uhh... we're..."

Said Namjoon nervously and then looks at the others to help him answer Yeonae's question quickly.

"Somewhere in Paris!"

Answered Taehyung to Yeonae's question and then Namjoon quickly ended the phone call.

"And now she'll start suspecting us."

Said Yoongi to them with a poker face while still eating his bag of chips.
