A baby is born

“She was too shy to say it” she just covered her eyes with her palm, but make a little opening where she looked at Alex.

“I can still see your eyes,” Alex said and move slightly towards her.  “Come here” he leaned forward and wrapped his hands around her.

She was so big now that Alex's hands could not fully go around her.

“I just need to go to the bathroom for a moment” Sandra excused herself, and Alex wonders why her visit to the bathroom was frequent this day.

He has been watching her carefully and she goes to the bathroom like five times in a few minutes.

“Are you okay?” he asks her when she comes back.

“I don’t know, I always feel like going to the bathroom, I think I need to go to the hospital,” she said and Alex panicked.

“Should I call Clara?” Sandra nods and he rushes to her room.

“Go away” Clara yell from inside.

“Clara I’m serious is about Sandra”  she jump out of bed when she heard Sandra.

“What is wrong with her?”

“I don’t know, she asks to go to the hospital,”

“Wow! Maybe she’s due”

“Really?”  Alex ask.

"Yes, move aside” she pushes him aside and rushes to Alex's room but Sandra is in so much pain.

"Hold on, we are going to the hospital, now.

"But is late" Sandra manages to say.

“Late or not we’re going” she helped her take one step and another, but when they got to the door she shouted waking everyone up.

“What is happening?” Pat rush out with her gun but saw Sandra in labor pain.

She rushed in to call her mother, the old lady came and ask them to bring her back in.

Alex was so worried, that he held Sandra's hand but the pains are unbearable.

The woman asks Alex and all the rest men to leave the room.

“What? do we have to leave?” Alex ask confused.

“Yes,” Clara said. Pushing him out because he was the last guy that didn’t want to leave.

“Is fine, just wait outside,” Clara said and locked the door.

“Calm down” Jack places a hand on his shoulder.

“I can’t, she’s in so much pain,” Alex said almost crying.

“That’s how it use to be” Brian reminded him and he turn to look at Brian wondering if he has a baby they don’t know about.

It took them hours to hear the baby cry.

“Congratulations man, you are now a father” Jack and Brian hug him but he was too tense.

“I hope she’s okay?”

“She will be fine, just wait a minute they will come out.”

They keep waiting for the door to open and it finally did.

Clara came out with a smile followed by Pat.

“Congrats is a girl”

“What!” Alex didn’t know when he yelled. Everyone has been expecting a boy, even Lincoln was expecting a male child from Sandra and it turns out to be a girl?.

“Guy, are you not happy?” Jack and Brian ask simultaneously, considering the way he yells, as Clara announced the gender of the baby.

“Of course, I’m so happy” he shouted and they all laughed.
