The two mates

"So, what else do you want to tell me?" Mar asked.

"About that, I wanted to tell you that Ren accepted me to be her mate." Noah smiled from ear to ear.

Ren is so nervous of what Mar would say.

"Congratulations!" Mar replied with a straight face.

"Come on, at least be happy a little. You don't need to act like this." Noah is not at all scared of Mar. He knows that they are on par if they fight.

"I already said congratulations. And let me remind you, you are just the second mate."

"Oh, come on. Is that even a thing? I didn't know that we are supposed to be numbered when it comes to being a mate." Noah frowned.

"But you are just a second mate. Accept it or leave."

Noah acts like a kid who lose an argument.

Ren laughed, feeling relieved. "You two act like a kid."

Mar looked at Noah with a serious face, "You are not yet officially mate. You know that. She only accepted you now. Until the heart binding is done, you are just a mate by words."

Noah frown, "I know that, you don't have to tell me. Ren accepting me as a mate are already enough for me to be happy. I will be patient until that day would come."

Mar smirk, "You wish. As if I would give you an opportunity."

Ren just smiled seeing that this two are not fighting. Their family are getting bigger and she is so happy about it.

"By the way love, what is a heart binding?" Ren asked confused.

Mar was about to answer but then Noah spoke first, "It is when both person mated and make love and accepting each other with their heart." Noah answered happily.

Ren face flushed, he then looked at Mar, "Oh, I remembered we've done that." She then smiled shyly.

Mar smiled back at her, "But you don't have to do that if you don't want to."

"Hey, hey, hey, don't give Ren bad ideas." Noah said.

"No need to fight." Ren replied.

"Come on Mar, let's be friends for Rens sake. I promise to be good and won't cause any trouble for this family. I will make sure to help around here."

"No need to tell me. I have to accept you or there won't be peace in this house." Mar said sarcastically.

Ren hugged Mar, "Thank you sweetheart. I love you. Thank you for being the most understanding mate in the entire world."

"Ren, I will be understanding too." Noah said smiling.

Ren looked at Noah and smiled at him. "I know."

"So, what's the plan? Am I allowed to stay here with you now?" Noah asked.

"And where do you plan to stay and sleep? I can't allow you to stay in our bed, it's too small for the four of us." Mar replied.

Noah think for a moment and then reply, "I can stay here in the sala."

"No, that's inappropriate. The sala is not a comfortable place to sleep." Ren replied.

Noah felt sad, "Then I am not allowed to stay with you?" He looks like a puppy whose about to cry.

"Stop with your drama. Go home for today, then come back tomorrow and help me build a bigger hut on the side. That way we can all fit together."

"That's a great idea. I will surely help you build our new hut." Noah is so happy that he was going to hug Mar.

Mar stopped him and hugged Ren.

"Come on, it's just a hug." Noah still waving both his arms insisting on hugging Mar.

"Stop it or I will changes my mind." Noah replied irritated.

Ren was so happy looking at the two of them being close in just a short period of time.
