I Want To Help, Too

Park Ji Hyun was writing in her short diary when she heard the screeching of the tires. She quickly ran and watched through the window. A smile came on her face as she saw two of her friends coming. She quickly opened the door and ran to hug them.

"You guys are here!! I missed you both so much!" She embraced them warmly.

Han Seo Jun observed her. How good it would have been if she would have hugged him too?

As he was just thinking of leaving, he felt someone embracing him too. He looked down at the person hugging him. It was Park Ji Hyun…

"Thank you, Mr. Han!" Ji Hyun cried and let go of him.

When Ji Hyun said that she was being chased by Oh Hyuk and his team, Ho Gyu couldn't help but get angry. He punched his palm of the left hand and cursed "F*ck that oldie!! Why can he not see that you are being framed? He also worked with us… Didn't he know how much you loved that person?"

Han Seo Jun who was just about to leave after seeing them settle heard this. He stopped and asked, "Who are you talking about?" More than anything he wanted to know who Ji Hyun loved.

As Ho Gyu and Seok Kyung saw that the person who bought them was still standing here, they looked at him suspiciously. Seok Kyung quickly moved towards Ji Hyun and asked in a teasing manner "Who is this guy, Ji Hyun Unnie?"

Ji Hyun glanced at Han Seo Jun and quickly averted her eyes when they met his. She felt her face heating up and she quickly lowered her gaze "He… He… Umm… I met him while I was being chased and he helped me out!"

"Is that all, Ji Hyun Unnie? Or there is more to it??" She teased again.

"Of course!! What do you mean by more?" Ji Hyun faced her and continued "I called you both so, that we all can discuss relating to the case not for you guys to tease me!" She slapped on her shoulder and glared at her.

Seok Kyung laughed and whispered "Don't you think he is too young for you, Ji Hyun Unnie? You are 36 and he looks somewhat like 25 or 26!!"

Ji Hyun opened her mouth wide in bafflement and slapped on her back.

Seok Kyung winced and laughed again.

Ji Hyun noticed the two men who were looking at her and she quickly cleared her throat and changed the subject "I need your help, Ho Gyu! Since, Seok Kyung is very busy in laughing, I don't think so we need her here! Mr. Han, please escort her out!"

Seok Kyung abruptly stopped laughing. She looked at Ji Hyun with a sad apologetic face. "Unnie!!" She cooed. "You know that I am better than Ho Gyu!! Why are you asking him for help when you always ask me?" She pouted her face and puffed her cheeks.

Ji Hyun smirked. Seok Kyung was always very ecstatic to work so, whenever Seok Kyung had to be taught a lesson Ji Hyun used to snatch her work away from her and Seok Kyung would come and try to woo her like a puppy.

"Hehe!" She chuckled and lightly ruffled her hair "Fine… I won't!"

Seok Kyung gave a sheepish laugh and approached Han Seo Jun. "I don't know who you are or what relationship you have with my Ji Hyun Unnie!! I will just say that you should take good care of her. She already lost someone dear to her and I don't want her to suffer more!" She patted his shoulder in a friendly manner.

Seo Jun looked towards Ji Hyun. She was talking with Ho Gyu while having a smile on her face. "You don't have to worry, Miss!! I will never let her suffer. Consider your Ji Hyun Unnie safe in my hands!" Han Seo Jun said with a positive smile on his face.

As they all were discussing, Han Seo Jun quietly observed everything. Seeing how adamant these three were to solve this case, Han Seo Jun also wanted to join them. He cleared his throat.

But got no response.

He did once again more loudly.

Still there was no response.

Finally, he coughed.

And Ji Hyun turned towards him. The moment his eyes met hers, he lowered his gaze shyly and scratched his neck. After a few seconds, he faced her again thinking that she had stopped looking at him but, she was still staring at him.

"Umm…" He couldn't hide it anymore. "Can I also join you guys? I want to help too!" Lastly, he was able to voice out his concern.

Ji Hyun was reluctant to make him join. Already he had helped her so much and if he was going to get involved with her again, it was really going to be troublesome for him. Ji Hyun didn't want to trouble him more. So, she was declining when he cut her off "It is fine, Mr. Han!! You don't have to…"

"I want to do Miss Park! I really want to help you." Han Seo Jun stood adamantly in front of them pleading them to allow him in.

"But??" Ji Hyun looked towards her two teammates. She saw teasing, naughty smiles on their faces and she facepalmed. "Fine!! You can join! But, please remember Mr. Han, I don't want to put you in further deep trouble. You are the one who have chosen this path!"

She smiled when she heard him "I won't let you down, Miss Park! You really don't have to worry about me… It won't be troublesome!" He gave a sly grin and sat with them down on the floor.

Ji Hyun soon explained him everything related to the case while Seok Kyung and Ho Gyu were staring at them in awe. They giggled slowly and whispered

"Don't they look good together?" It was Seok Kyung who said that. Even though it felt weird to see a guy 10 years older than Ji Hyun looking towards her affectionately, Seok Kyung was glad to see her friend smile. A lot had happened with Ji Hyun and maybe starting a relationship with love would be a good choice for Ji Hyun to forget about her stuffs for the time being.

As if Ho Gyu was ready to put water on all of her thoughts… he said "Rubbish!"

Seok Kyung ignored him and just took one last look at them. Her friend was very, very far away from accepting him.

After about thirty minutes, Ho Gyu and Seok Kyung left the house. They couldn't stay out and ditch their work for long so, they left.

As they were leaving, Ji Hyun stopped them and asked them to bring her a few of her stuffs. She was badly in need of a phone so, she told Seok Kyung to buy one for her along with a new SIM card and data plan.
