Daniel's eyes shot open as he inhaled deeply for air.

<You've been granted the Love system>

Daniel furrowed his eyebrows. "Love system?" he questioned as he read floating in his head.

Daniel looked around but his vision was blurry. He rubbed them gently hoping to get a clearer picture. He then looked around more intensely, thus noticing the green plains he was surrounded by.

He closed his eyes again and saw the floating characters. Fear struck his heart, which made him wonder what foreign entity had entered his head this time. He wondered if maybe another kingdom was set to kill him by hiring a warlock or a rogue fairy.

He sat in a lotus position which instinctively made his breathing slow down. This was one of the most basic ways of circulating mana that anyone could use.

A few moments had passed, but the mana he absorbed would be immediately dispelled back into the atmosphere. Ten minutes had passed but not even a single drop of mana would stay with his system.

"What is wrong with my mana core?" he paced around frantically. "Maybe it's because of the Love system."

A couple of hours had passed, and Daniel hadn't taken in a drop of water since he woke up. His throat became an uncomfortable type of itchy and his lips were dry, almost cracked. He licked his lips time and time again trying to ease his problems but that only made it worse.

He looked south of the plain, then he looked north. Both sides had an eery feel to them but he had no choice but to pick one. He closed his eyes and spun around for a couple of seconds. He felt that he was losing balance and stopped.

When his eyes opened, Daniel found himself under the tree which had fruits that were gold-skinned. They had a bright gold aura which showed they were a spiritual fruit of the golden stage.

Be it humans, magical beasts or magical plants, all of them shared a tiered system. There were a total of nine stages in the world. The Iron tier was the lowest rank to ever exist. Most people fail to surpass it. Then came the Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Spirit, Heavenly and Ancient. As it is commonly known, as they go up the food chain, the less they are. But predators will always be at the top even if they are few. Each tier had a stage numbering from 1-5.

A sweet scent wafted through his nose as the winds blew the tree. Senselessly, he picked up the golden apple. What is this aromatic fruit he wondered to himself?

[name: Mana Pulima (Gold-tier magical plant)]

[Description: A fruit that has been growing for a thousand years after absorbing the mana of platinum stage beast's corpse. Consuming one will increase one's mana capacity by adding 100 stats and physical strength by adding 50 stats. Intelligence may be boosted if luck is on your side. The tree will whither away after the first consumption of fruit. It is encouraged for a group to be together before consuming it.]

Daniel's face made an amused expression as he found out that he could increase his mana core capacity. He bit into the apple regretful that he couldn't share it with his brother, Ludvic . Inside of his body, he felt as if a huge burden was taken away. He immediately wanted to test out his newly found power. He made a fist with his hand and punched the dry ground with all his might.

*Boom*

Dust particle skatter round, causing a brown fog to disperse. Wiped of his dusty knunckles onto his surprisingly sparkling clean clothes. This made him cringe internally but he sucked it up for he had gotten a little stronger. He felt thay he was still far away from his former strength but he was atleast a little stronger.

<You have consumed Mana Pulima. Mana has increased by 100 and Strength has increase by 50>

<Special reward of 10 Intelligence points>

<Second special reward, Installation has increased by 10>

The words floating in his head stopped his joyful cheers as he read them. He wondered if it was a curse or a gift. He prefered the latter.
