Trouble In The Liu Mansion

Truthfully, the visit was a nice one they had there. Right now they were on their way back home—The Liu Mansion. The whole atmosphere was calm and relaxed as they sat in the car. No one wanted to speak. Though Zeke had already returned to his usual self. While Liam was as quiet as f*ck, his nature after all.

After a thirty minutes long drive, they finally reached their destination. Liam and Zeke alighted the car when it stopped at the patio before the driver drove off to park the car in the garage.

As they made their way inside, Some shouting sounds were heard and it sounded more like Catherine, quarrelling one of the maids at home. Zeke immediately ran off to the direction of the noise.

Catherine was seated on the sofa while he could see Mia, Sandra, Gwen, Alexa and Tania standing right Infront of her.

She was obviously fuming with anger while looking at them with those eyes filled with rage. Zeke felt like if he did not intervene, Catherine will end up killing one of them.

Instantly he rushed towards them. Tania and Mia were the ones standing more forward than the others with head bowed. They were the centre of the problem, he thought.

"Auntie! what's the problem?" Zeke asked the moment he moved forward with Liam behind him.

"This thieves! I can't find my platinum silver necklace." Catherine yelled angrily.

At her words, Zeke immediately looked at the people being talked about. His gaze steadied on Tania and he could see she was sobbing.

"Miss I didn't do it. I promise I didn'...." Tania said with a cry.

"Shut up you wretch!"

Tania, Mia and the rest of them flinched by her shrill shout. Tania immediately shut her mouth tight. So much as she wanted to prove herself, she didn't want to do it while getting into more trouble.

"How did it get missing Mom?" Liam's deep voiced echoed breaking the silence that reigned after Catherine's earlier escapade.

"I gave this fool standing here my necklace to place in my jewelry drawer. But guess what? when I asked her to bring it out for she said she hadn't seen it. What nonsense!." Catherine explained angrily.

"Miss, I know but I didn't steal it I swear!" Tania spoke trying to explain her part.

"I said shut up you b*tch!" Catherine screamed in anger.

"Don't call her that aunty." Zeke voiced out. Unaware of when the words left his lips causing Catherine to instantly turn her attention to him. Not only Catherine but including Tania.

By the time he realized what he had said, he took a deep breath in and then apologized. "I am sorry auntie, I didn't mean to say it that way. You shouldn't call her names aunty. It hasn't been confirmed that she stole it yet." He gently said.

"Listen son, you are too kind and soft that is why you can't see through people like this." Catherine told him.

"But won't you atleast try to find out? if she said she didn't do then she didn't do it aunt." Zeke tried to explain so she could understand.

"You won't get it son." Catherine spoke before diverting her attention back to the Matter on ground. " Sandra?" She called out.

Sandra flinched when she heard her name, she just had to pray to her almighty God that she had not gotten involved in this somehow. "Ye..yes M.. ma'am?" She stammered her reply.

"Go call my husband secretary, tell him that I need to speak with my husband. The is someone I have to report to the police." She gave her command to Sandra.

"Y...es ma'am." Sandra replied before turning her back to execute her instruction.

"Wait!" Zeke voiced out.

Sandra immediately halted.

"Auntie calm down okay, we can sort this in a better way."

"Mom, what do you think you are doing?" Liam asked already getting low on Patience.

"Ain't you boys seeing this! She stole from me!." Catherine frustratingly screamed.

"And she says she didn't!" Liam answered, raising his voice a little.

Tania could do nothing but bobbed her head continuously with all the tears and snout on her pretty face. "I swear Miss I didn't, I honestly did not." Tania said, her cries getting louder.

This only made Catherine stand up from where she was seated, the next thing everyone knew, a sound slap was given to her, right in the face. "I said shut up!"

The whole living room immediately became tremendously quiet.

Tania's sobs ceased as she tried to process what just occurred. With her hand on her cheek and face turned to the side.

"Aunt!" Zeke immediately roar as he went forward dragging Tania to his side and standing Infront of her.

Liam immediately launched forward and held his mother. This was getting out of control.

All the others were in shock and also fear.

. . .

Hearing the commotion going on downstairs, Vionna wasn't sure if she should come down or not. Since she wasn't called she thought it will be best to remain where she was. She really did to stay on the good side.

But upon getting the gist of what was going on, she got a clue of what was going on. She needed to find a way to help Tania. Of course she had been with Tania for a while now so she knew how she could really be, and a thief isn't part of what she could be.

So without wasting time, she hurriedly rushed into Catherine's room and began het search. This was the only way she can help and prays it works.

She kept on searching random places, everywhere she could think of, including the drawer that was being spoke of. But nothing was of aid.

Just when she was about giving up, her eyes caught sight of a shiny little object, peeking out from a small slithering corner which was in-between the bed and the side stool.

She quickly bent and picked up. And behold it was the Damn necklace which was the reason for the unwanted trouble right now. Without wasting a single second she hurried downstairs.

"I found it! I found it ma'am I found it." She happily screamed with excitement. Her smile knew no bounds.

Everyone's attention immediately turned to hers after hearing her scream.
