Interesting Lunch Visit

In the Lan Mansion.

It was Mid Noon when the boys arrived at the Lan Residence and of course they were welcome by the ever—so loving Lara Lan, Ezekiel Lan beloved mother.

Lara didn't even wait for them to reach the door entrance. The moment they alighted the car, she hurriedly made her way to them, grabbing them both in a tight hug, just like the way Catherine did.

Obviously the happiness was apparent on their faces with those broad smile they had etched on.

Lara's wasn't any Less. "My lovely boys! I missed you guys too much." She exclaimed to them while they were still in her Lovingly–Motherly embrace.

"We missed you too Mom." Zeke being all excited, passionately replied. He missed this. He missed being in her hold just like this, His mother was his greatest Joy and best comforter in his universe. He remembered the time when he will have a problem, the way she puts him to sleep on her lap, Say nice words and advice to him to keep him going.

She was the closest to him after Liam. Sometimes he thinks maybe because he is the last son and also last child, whatever the reason is! damn it, their bond is a special one on its own.

"I missed you too Aunty." Liam added which was rare of him.

"I missed you more baby." She said pulling out from the hug, cupping both their cheeks with her hands.

The smile on their faces was never ending as the stood relishing the happy reunion. Lara hugged Zeke one more time–more tightly this time, before leading them into the mansion.

"Come in, I made your favorite dishes. I hope your taste haven't changed yet." She said to both of them with her smile still lingering.

"No Mom, Right Liam?" Zeke said enthusiastically.

"Mmmhm." Liam only hummed in reply, he could see his brother was supper excited right now which made him smile a little.

After hearing both their replies, Lara immediately signalled the maids at their beck to bring in the meal that was prepared for lunch.

In just one minutes, the maids were all in a single file line, coming out with different kind of delicacies. What a feast upon feast. They just had a welcome dinner at the Liu's and now the same feast–full Welcome lunch.

They were about telling Lara that she didn't had to bother herself with this when the aroma coming from the dishes immediately hit their noses, causing them to look at each other in sync and then at the meal laid perfectly well on the table.

"Mom, you cooked?"

"Aunty, you cooked?" The simultaneously asked. Of course they could never forget this desirable and such mind-blowing scent no matter how long they have been far away from home.

"Yes my boys, I did." Lara replied with a happy wide smile, She was happy to see they still remembered what her food smell like, to make sure they still remembered how it taste like, She served them both. She clearly remembered when they were little, they always struggled for a plate of meal she prepared. This little remembrance caused a fond smile to appear on her unageing face as she stared at them. Time do fly fast but it changes nothing.

"Great!" Liam praised as he took a spoon. While.

"Yummy!" Zeke squealed with a smile similar to Lara's.

"You guys like it?"

"We love it." They replied in sync then chuckled out together after realizing what the did.

Lara couldn't help but reminisce old times. She laughed out after them.

They lunch went on in peace and quietness, with a touch of familiar love floating round in the air, making the ambiance surrounding them amicable and irenic.

Few hours later;

They are all seated in the living room with Lara, They were happily chatting about their experience and stay outside the country to Lara while she listened attentively and laughing at the funny ones–and lecturing them for some reckless act they did.

"What about Dad?" Zeke asked, his expression had already changed, same with Liam and Lara.

"Your Dad is okay son. He really missed you too."

"The is no need to Lie Mom." Zeke replied, his face had already fallen.

At this point, Liam knew it wasn't more of a concern to him so he kept silent watching them.

"And why will I do that?"

"To make me feel better, like you always do." Zeke replied a little bit downcasted.

"I never lied to you son and I never will, um yes I did made you feel better but not with lies. Neither of what I said to you in the past nor in the future are lies my darling." Lara sighed before she explained as she took hold of his palm in hers.

"So all of what you said were true?" Zeke asked still unsure of what she was saying.

"Mmmmhm." She nodded affirmatively.

"Dad loves me?" He mumbled, somehow the words sounded strange in his ear.

"You don't have to ask that dear, of course he does, and you know it. He just doesn't show it, you know your father darling."

"He Planned a welcome party for you and Liam, though he is denying it I know he is responsible for it. Dear you just have to be calm with him okay. So far you are the only one who had gone against him." Lara continued when Zeke didn't say a word.

Zeke nodded this time. "How is christio?" Zeke asked after his sister.

"She's good, Don't worry about her." Lara replied.

"I wish I could do something for her then." Zeke mumbled with his head down in a depressed tone.

"Don't kill yourself for that Xavier, she knew you could do nothing then, she won't blame you alright." Lara said calling him by his other name; the one she calls him.

Liam gave him a pat on his shoulder, calming him down in his own way of showing support.

And as if understanding Liam, Zeke sighed out loud before mouthing a "Thanks." To both of them.

"Mom, I will be staying with Uncle and Aunty for some times, I promise I will come back to you." Zeke said, his previous mood gradually returning.

"Sure son, I understand."

It was almost getting dark so they decided to leave after spending one more hour with Lara.

"Bye kids, do visit always alright." Lara said to them. They were all standing at the threshold of the door. Lara gave one last hug to both of them. Not without sending her greetings to Catherine and Christian, before bidding them good bye. She waved them as the driver drove the car out of the Lan Residence.
