I decided to stay close to Ruyi to make it easy to keep an eye on everyone around her . I walked to her she was looking nervous like crazy I think it was because of what she heard outside about being spotted going to a hotel with a man. She was lost in her own dilemma and I had no words to make her feel any better because everything happened instantly.

As we started talking I could feel that her temperature had dropped to zero degrees Celsius. We abruptly stopped talking when Ye Ling and Crystal approached us . I can say it was also my first time meeting this beautiful idol in reality ...she was expensive to meet lucky she attended this festival most of the times she is always absent...she usually send her manager to take her Grammy awards , I wonder what exactly brought her to this event .

The way she eyed Ruyi there was so much affection filled in her eyes as if she knew her from the beginning.

When everyone started chatting my head was all over Meing Chan it was so unusual of him to be absent during such events . I really felt empty without his presence ...though we never talked before his presence means a lot to me ....and I overheard that he was going to win an award on his movie which was just aired last week for being the most amazing actor of the year ...to my surprise there was no sign of him that got me more worried thinking about that message I received last night and him not showing up was just making my head go buzz .

I noticed Crystal was acting like Ye Ling bodyguard eyeing her every step ...it looked like she was expecting something big to happen so she was alert all the time . Everyone knew her as Ye Ling possessive friend. She was always around Ye Ling even at home she never leaved her side for once . She always acted like a protective brother sometimes I had a feeling she had some secret feelings towards Ye Ling .

We all stopped talking when President Jungkoong gaze fell on us he looked like he was searching for something special . Till his gaze landed on Ruyi ...I noticed Ruyi's eyes glowed looking at him it was like they shared some sort of connection . I've never seen so much light on her face she was always dull . And him why was he looking at her as if he knew her . I've always heard he never looked at any girl for a second but here he was staring with an intent look as if he was drinking in her slowly in every ounce of her .

Her face was serious as she hovered over him, the humor that normally brightened her eyes shadowed by a new, more focused intent.

I could sense the potential between them,

The push-pull between them was undeniable. I could see her giving herself over with such bold abandon that he wanted to give her everything he had in return with just one glance.

_The taste of her surrendering glare was intoxicating, empowering, pushing him to new depths of desire he was only now discovering._

Though the way he was looking at her looked like he was gazing at Ye Ling don't know how he managed to do that but everything was clear to me .

Even Ye Ling knew he wasn't staring at her but she managed to keep her soft smile to fool everyone around .

I just pray no one else noticed the eye lock between Ruyi and the President of Young Company otherwise it would be another disaster .

When he walked to Ye Ling I saw misty tears in Ruyi's eyes she quickly rushed away from the scene . As I was following me a man stopped me

Him: ma'am take this drink to miss Ruyi she sang very well ...( he said with a smile)

I don't know who exactly handed me a bottle of champagne but the boy looked to be in his twenties. I didn't try to think hard about it I just took it as i was in a hurry to check on my friend

Me : i really appreciate ( she said following after Ruyi).

I found Ruyi in the women washroom looking very distressed. I tried getting her to talk about Jung but she didn't look interested moreover she was trying to avoid the topic of her and The President of the Young Company . To cheer her up I gave her some champaign I only drank little of it .

It tasted really weird . It started making me feel giddy but we managed to head out of the hall . Suddenly Ruyi collapsed I wasn't quick to catch her as I was already weak. Without any warning we were being circled by some men in black suits . I realized who their boss was when Mr Tiang showed among them with a dreadful smile on his face .

With this I knew I was done for ! I couldn't even lift a finger at him ..so basically he was going to do everything he wants with us .

Me : you _( she said weakly as her vision turns blurry)

Suddenly I couldn't see clearly but had my feet on the ground

Mr Tiang: you were in a hurry to go with your artist Chong Fei ?? Why can't I get the piece of this shit ??( he questioned as he caressed Ruyi's cheeks )

I was about to fall when someone get hold of me and made me drink something which tasted very bitter suddenly my giddiness submitted . I looked up to see that same guy from the last night scene. I shivered by just glancing at him ....I can't believe I was in the same arms of the man burned those men to ashes anytime it could be me .He still had the mask which covered his upper face.

Him: what a coincidence ?( he said with a deep voice )

I swallowed hearing his deep voice how much I wished I had just fainted ....I moved away from him trying to go where Ruyi was lying ....Sultan gripped my wrist tightly

Me : let me go ( she screamed)

Suddenly someone shot Mr Tiang on his head ...I dropped my jaws as I saw gushes of blood flowing from his head . those men who had accompanied Mr Tiang apologized to Sultan and disappeared .

Voice: Ruyi !!

I looked up to see President Jungkoong ....one of the man who looked like his side man had a pistol in his hand . He is the one who shot Mr Tiang.

I was baffled as he rushed to her and carried Ruyi without any questions I wanted to follow when that demon stopped me .

Me: leave me!! ..( she said harshly)

Sultan: we have a lot to talk about Feifei ..( he said with a smirk as he forcibly carried her to his car )

Me: where you taking me ...I ...I didn't tell anyone you the one did it ( she screamed trying to fight him )

Sultan: be quite or I will blow your head ( he said pointing a gun at her )

I quickly fell quite with a nod .

Me: okay ...okay .....I will be quite ( she said with tears)

I got in the car and sat down like an obedient kid . I really hate him to the core of my heart sudden heat crawled my skin as he started driving. Why is he after me !!

I wish this could be reversed ,,,

Me: were are you taking me ???( she hesitantly asked)

Sultan: be quite!!

Me: but I didn't tell anyone you were at the crime scene ...I swear I kept my mouth zipped ....( she said quickly without taking a breath )

Sultan: you irritating me ...

Me: but I....

I paused as he angrily stopped the car ...He was now burning with anger ....My hands trembled as hr gazed at me there was fire in his eyes.

Sultan: get out !!( he said with a murderous tone)

Honestly I was dying to hear these words ....

Me: thank you ...may God favor you the most...

I felt like I have just been freed from a jail . I didn't care how dark it was .....it was way better than being around such a dangerous man .

As I got out of the car someone shot at me ....I quickly rushed back in the car ...

I looked at Sultan

Me: I just wanted to take a pee ...( she said with a nervous smile)

Sultan: so are you done??

I nod quickly ,,
