Chapter 2

The car halted at a luxurious restaurant.It was my favourite restaurant. I immediately came out of the car and started walking at our place. I knew it cause we always sit there whenever we visit this restaurant.

I pushed the door gently to open it. I gasped with shock, when my gaze fell on Vihaan. He was sitting on the chair facing the window. It was full moon and the sky was clear. The moon was glistening beautifully.

It was Vihaan's birthday. But instead of being excited, he was smoking while gazing at the moon.

I took my steps slowly towards Vihaan. I tapped on his right shoulder softly. He immediately looked at me. His face held no expression but his eyes were saying something to me.

"Why are you smoking Vihaan? " I asked him with concern.

"You never smoke. What happened? " I spoke after a short pause.

"None of your concern." He said each word with pure hatred.

I felt like I am being hurt by many arrows in my heart. I got heartbroken.

"Why are you talking to me like this Vihaan?" I asked hugging him tightly.I again started sobbing in his embrace.

He rubbed my back soothingly and I sobbed even more.

After sometime, I calmed down. I broke the hug and looked straight into his eyes.His eyes were concernful.

"Why are you treating me like this Vihaan?" I asked him in a soft voice.

"Did I do something which was not acceptable for you?" I spoke again after a short pause.

There was a pin drop silence. I could hear his heart beats too. I was sitting in his lap and my both hands were placed on his shoulder. His warm hands were placed on my bare waist. We were gazing at each other intently.

After a short moment of silence, he just nodded his head in disapproval.

My expression turned into a questionable one.

"Sure?" I asked him.

He responded, "Yeah."

I slowly removed my hands from him and tried to get up. I heard my phone ringing. It was Sia. I picked up and responded, "Hello".

"Daah daah " I heard Serom's voice.

I sat on the chair smilingly.

"Hmmm. Hmmm. I know you love me. It seems you're missing me too." I said lovingly.

"Abbhhhjbb. Abbhhhjhhhhb" He responded playfully.

"You are very notorious." I said in a soft voice.

"Haahaahaahaa." He started laughing.

I smiled even more.

"Aww, my baby. I wish you were present here with me. I can imagine you while laughing. You look so adorable while laughing. I really want to kiss your cheeks my baby." I told him smilingly. He again responded in a playful childish words. I didn't even get a word.I heard Sia telling me to propose Vihaan. I blushed when she reminded me. I just hummed in response and told her that we will talk later. I bid my goodbye to her and cut the call.

My gaze fell on the cake, which was decorated so beautifully. Then I looked towards Vihaan. But he was glaring me very angrily. His face was turned red.

I looked at him questionably.

"Vihaan. What's the matter? " I asked him concernfully.

He averted his gaze. I felt a pang in my heart once again.
