35 MISS SHERLOCK HOLMES II

After a long hectic day, I reached home and saw my mom laying on the sofa with her eyes closed. I quietly went near her and covered her with a blanket and was ready to head to my room but suddenly my legs stopped moving when I heard her saying " Where have been till now?" I was still figuring what to say then I thought of a plan and said I went to the library because I wanted to learn about our profession and work. I want to work as soon as possible so that I can help you with your work and remove some of your burdens. after completing my sentence I looked up to her and I could see her anger replaced by love and happiness she opened her arms and signaled me to hug her I went near her and hugged her tightly.

she spoke, "I will never be burden by you, my sweetheart, don't ever think this way." I looked straight in my mother eyes and confidently said her that I want to work mother I don't wanna live in this boring room please have faith in me I won't disappoint you I promise". She sighed and said " okay but you have to promise me one thing that you will not compromise on your health". I nodded and went to my room then I quickly took a shower and went downstairs and had dinner.

after bidding my mother goodnight I went to my room locked my door and opened the document after what I saw in that I was completely speechless I murmured what the hell how are the strings attached I am still very far from the truth.

in the document, it was the same face that I woke up with and the other person was my current boss the demon, Damon. I was not able to digest how they were connected. they worked together for six months and the project was successful. I was thinking of ways how to uncover this secret. I thought of asking mother so with this I call it a day.

after waking up the next day I directly went to my mother's room and asked " mom do you know someone by the name Damon?" she took a small pause and asked, " Are you talking about Damon Salvatore the business tycoon?" I nodded then she continued " I saw him at a business event that I attended but never talked to him personally".

I felt this strange I mean her daughter has done a project with him for six long months and she doesn't have a clue about it. i was lost i didn't know what to do to get justice for this body owner. seeing my sad and disappointed look my mother asked " is anything that matters about him baby"

I shooked my head and replied with a no. I went to work and was still lost in my thoughts that I didn't recognize someone was waving at me. just I was stepping towards the elevator someone grabbed my hand and made me turn around and then I came to realize this man was calling me for his attention for a long time. he was Andrew that demon's friend. he said, " how could you be so lost that you didn't notice me?" I looked at him finding an answer then he changed the topic and said" let's go there I will show you something". he dragged me to a storeroom and said " can you find me a particular file I need it anyhow to please pretty please" I looked at him annoyed but agreed and went to search and after sometime what i got completely devasted me. i was dead shocked but didn't loose my conciousness.
