Pay the bill
Back to Yu Yan's apartment:
It was almost dusk when Moujin left, she did not prepare anything for Yu Yan's dinner as per the head master's order.
Yu Yan decided to cook for dinner. She tied her hair in a pony tail, put an apron, and opened the fridge to grab something to cook.
She grabbed some meat and vegetables and started to clumsily chop and cut them.
As she began to her cook, Yu Yan placed the pan on the stove. She put some cooking oil and after a couple of minutes...
"swoosshh!"
The flame blazed upwards in a rush that it startled her. It made her jumped back but she accidentally stumbled into the kitchen table that sent the meat and vegetables scattered to the floor.
Yu Yan quickly stood up and turned off the stove like what MouJin taught her if the pan suddenly got burnt.
Looking at the meat and vegetables on the ground, Yu Yan sighed and began to clean up the mess she made.
'This is hard!'
After tidying the kitchen, she suddenly felt pain on her hand. There was a burn mark but it wasn't that bad.
Yu Yan went to the living room and took the medicine kit and used an ointment to put on her skin.
She laid on the couch with her hand hanging. She is wondering how she would survive the following days alone. Lost in her thoughts, she fell asleep.
When Yu Yan woke up, it was already midnight. She started to feel hungry so she went to the bathroom to wash and change her clothes.
Taking her Mobile phone out, Yu Yan searched for the nearest restaurant to eat, totally forgetting the option of delivery.
After a couple of minutes, Yu Yan found the nearest restaurant in the vicinity and left the apartment.
Walking down the street that she considers a foreign land to her, there was a bit of ignorance on Yu Yan's eyes.
When she arrived in the restaurant, she immediately looked for an available table. She found an empty table near the window, she sat down and started to order.
After a scrumptious meal, Yu Yan was finally satisfied. However, when she stood up, the waiter who served her, came forward and handed her the bill.
She looked at the person with curiosity in her eyes. "What's this?"
"It's your bill, miss." the waiter answered with a look of ridicule in his eyes.
Yu Yan: "..."
How could I forget?!
I didn't bring any money!
How can I be such an idiot!
Since Yu Yan woke up more than 2 years ago, she never experienced dining out like a normal person.
Because of her brothers who did not allow her to go outside, she only learned things through reading while others were taught by her brothers.
So even when she always ran away back when she was still living with Mo Yu Min, everything was provided for Yu Yan. Buying or using money is something she never did.
When the waiter saw her reaction, he immediately grabbed Yu Yan's arms. "Planning to ran away?"
Yu Yan: "..."
How did you know?
"No... No.. I'm not.... I'm not.." Yu Yan claimed.
Hearing her answer, the waiter released her arms: "Then please pay."
"I didn't bring any money.."
Waiter: "!!!" You're pretty but you have no money?
The waiter's face became ugly. He was about to grab Yu Yan's arms when suddenly, a young man's voice came behind the waiter.
"I'll pay for her."
Both Yu Yan and the waiter turned to look at the person who just spoke.
A young man with a soft ink-black hair, brown eyes, thick lashes, high nose and thin, kissable red lips wore a naughty look on his very attractive face.
