40 Interrupted words

Feng Yun noticed that Yu Yan looked nervous. He pulled her into his arms and kissed her on her forehead.

"I'm sure you can surpass them."

'Surpass them? How can I?' Yu Yan wanted to say.

Watching Yu Yan in deep thoughts, Feng Yun tried to comfort her. "You're way better than them"

Yu Yan: "..."

Big brother, your expectations are too high!'

"Did you attend the same school?"

"Still on my last year." Feng Yun answered honestly.

She looked at him in confusion, although she have an idea how university works, she is not sure how Shénmì university works.

"Shénmì University is not the same with regular schools..." Feng Yun informed her, like he knew what Yu Yan was thinking.

"what is the difference?"

"IQ"

Yu Yan: "...." ok!

Yu Yan did not react. Feng Yun raised his hand to Yu Yan's forehead to check her temperature. All the while looking at her without any expression.

"Do you think you can manage taking the test tomorrow?"

Yu Yan nodded... "I think so, I'm no longer feeling sick. I think I can do it."

Feng Yun did not say anything but he looked at Butler Gao who just nodded and bowed. He then left the room while MouJin followed behind.

"Lets sleep" Feng Yun said.

"You will sleep here?"

"Don't want?"

"Want!" Yu Yan answered with a grin.

Straightening her pajama legs to cover her scars, Feng Yun lay down with her and covered her with quilt.

"Sleep."

Leaning on Feng Yun's chest, Yu Yan closed her eyes to sleep. With Feng Yun's warm embrace, her body started to relax. She did not know how long it took until she finally fell asleep.

In the middle of the night, Feng Yun felt that the girl beside him is missing. He immediately opened his eyes and looked around.

Using his strong senses, he confirmed that Yu Yan is not within her bedroom, Feng Yun instantly got up from the bed and went to the balcony.

He tried to scan the garden and looked up at the moon that was shining in the sky. Then looked down at his black jade dragon bracelet.

In just a couple of seconds, the black jade bracelet suddenly turned red and Feng Yun's black eyes turned into scarlet red.

In an instant, he immediately disappeared from the balcony and appeared in the kitchen.

A girl, whose black hair was flowing like a waterfall on her back and wore red pajamas with tiny bear prints all over, was standing in front of the open fridge.

Feng Yun: "..."

His scarlet eyes turned back to normal and the dragon bracelet turned from red to black.

Feng Yun stood on the same spot, watching Yu Yan take food from the fridge and stuffing it on her mouth to eat.

"Hungry?" he suddenly asked.

"Ah!" Yu Yan screamed in fear. She turned around to look at the source of the voice with teary eyes.

"Big bother!" she exclaimed in a shaky voice.

Her heart was pumping so fast like a horse running for its life. But it immediately subsided when she saw Feng Yun.

Her face looked like a frightened little cat. Feng Yun came closer and gave her a hug then wiped the excess food from her lips.

Suddenly, the sweetness between the two is shattered when a cold and impolite voice interrupted the scene.

"No wonder she's like an abnormal child. You people have been treating her like a baby.."

When the two looked over at the person, they realized it was Yu Rin. There was a look of disappointment in his eyes while he looked at Yu Yan.

"Oh no, I forgot, the two of you are....."

Without a word Yu Yan, who had a broken heart look as she stared at Yu Rin's face, was released from Feng Yun's arms all of a sudden.

Feng Yun instantly disappeared in front of Yu Yan and a fist was about to hit Yu Rin on the face. However, Yu Rin did not react at all but looked at Feng Yun ridiculously.
