5 It was a plan all along

Chapter 5

Damien's POV

At last! I waited so long for this to happen and it's finally happening.

I just hate that girl's gut,what name does even she bear?Sera....seraph....anyway that's none of my concern.

But Dad outdid himself this time,I didn't believe when he told me I'd get my revenge.

I remember vividly after dad and I left that day(the day I waylaid Seraphine and tried to slap her).when we got home he took me to his room and locked the door.

He said I shouldn't worry myself over commoners "they are like ants,you are an elephant he said and then continued "what do elephants do?they stump on ants like them"he said laughing.

Dad was right after all.He already foresaw what was going to happen.I remember the night I got back from the city,it was a day before the selection.

He told me"Remember when I told you,you would have your revenge later?i have a plan to teach that girl a lesson.

"Which girl? I asked trying to rack my brain when I suddenly remembered "oh you mean the one I bullied about in high school?,but it's been a while dad"

"Have you forgotten that she humiliated you?dad asked

"Yes dad I remember but.....

"No buts,aren't you the son of the mayor?no one should dare cross your path"wait how do you think I got to this point?,let me tell you just in case you don't know.I did by stumping on my enemies,as he said that I could feel anger and hatred rekindle within me.

"Okay Dad what's your plan? I asked wondering what dad is up to

"You'd find out soon enough "he replied smiling.

I never knew father was planning something as exciting as this.Nothing can be compared to making her life a living hell.

But what about me....does that mean I won't see my girls anymore?that won't be possible.well im sure dad must have had a plan concerning that as well" I said reassuring myself.

"where is this witch?"I said asking no one in particular.I got up from the bed to look around for where she might have gone when I heard the door open.

"You're up?"she said with surprise and disappointment written all over her.

"I'm sure you wished i died in my sleep but here I am alive"I replied sarcastically.She went on to sit on the couch and acted as if I just spoke to the air.

I turned to go over to teach her a lesson when mother knocked the door and came in.

"Good morning mother hope you slept well ?

"Good morning mrs Daniel "the witch said which made mother smile and she replied "good morning my dear seraphine and you to Damien.

The witch stood up motioning mother to sit on the couch.

"Come sit with us Damien"mother said as I went to sit on the couch opposite them and told her to go ahead with what she came for.

She clears her throat and said "firstly I know that you both may not be getting along well now but I can assure you that you both will in the future.i believe in the both of you to make this work.

Make this work my foot I said in my mind and I'm sure I saw Seraphine's lips move as well,I bet she probably cursed under her breath.

"And the second reason why I am here..mother continued "is because a party would be held to welcome seraphine to the household and it'll be attended by our family and seraphine's.You both can invite anyone as well.

A party? how would I introduce this ugly witch as my partner to my friends.

"The aim of the party is to familiarize Seraphine with the other members of our family,and so we can also familiarize ourselves with hers as well.she paused and then continued ...I'm sure you've only met Daine asides me and Damien's father which you already know"

"Yes ma'am she took me around the house this morning"seraphine replied,looking at how her eyes lit up when she answered I can only imagine the nonsense Daine told her.

"That's good of her"mother said as she stood up to leave.

"Is there anything I can help you with ma'am?"seraphine asked.I could sense she wants to leave because of me.

"You can call me mother as well,and all I want from you is to take care of my son because he may look tough on the outside but he is very gentle and delicate on the in.....

"Mother have you forgotten that you have a council meeting today?"i said trying to prevent her from finishing her sentence.

After I said that mother decided to leave for her council meeting.After she left,I locked the door from behind and went towards Seraphine.

I grabbed her arm roughly making sure I gave her a wound by piercing her flesh with my fingers.

"You're hurting me" she cried,still not letting her go I said"listen attentively! I don't know when the so called party would be held but let me warn you ahead not to try anything smart.Dont you dare tell anyone what you're going through else your family would suffer for it.

As I talked about punishing her family I saw tears drop on her cheeks as she begged me not to harm her family and then promised to do whatever I want.

"Very good!" I said before releasing her from my grip ,I could see blood on her arm as soon as I did.

Now go outside,I want to take my bath and I can't dress up while you're here looking.she was about leaving when I said "clean that blood on your arm before going out".

I went into the bathroom after she slammed the door behind her
